NZWA Uprising: Road to "Sex, Lies, and Wrestling" Location: The ML2.1k Arena Date: Tuesday, April 20, 2005 Reporter: Pedro Beudolay (Written by Varjay) --The Card-- -Match 1- Mikey versus The Cleanser (/w Misty) -Match 2- Matthew Storm versus Darren Flash -Match 3- S1ngular1ty versus “Sick” Chris Mondo -Match 4- <Non-Title Match> AT Sunshine and Juggernaught versus “The Bastards” Devil and Monster (c) -Match 5- <NZWA World Heavyweight Title Match> MiMiC versus The Machine (c) In addition, there will be a special announcement from NZWA Commissioner Dojj, and NZWA Deathmatch Champion Omegadawn will give what he is describing as a "special address." -The Intro- As the how began, NZWA Commissioner Dojj came out to address a few “issues” affecting the next Supercard, “Sex, Lies, and Wrestling.” Speaking briefly about his role as the Commish and powers vested in him by the Championship Committee (namely to enforce the rules, see justice served, and that titles are treated with respect), he called out both “Sick” Chris Mondo and S1ngular1ty, who were scheduled to face each other later in the show. A few moments later, both men appeared, Mondo in the ring and S1ngular1ty on the NZ Tron above the entrance stage, and Dojj informed them that they were the two top contenders to the NZWA US Title. He said that the title would be defended at “SLW” (“Sex, Lies, and Wrestling”), but the Committee wanted a one-on-one battle between the challenger and Gr8-Scott, the champion; in short, with two contenders and only one slot, so something had to happen. Finally, Dojj cut to the chase, announced that their match later in the show was a “US Title Contendership Match,” and the winner would go on to face Gr8-Scott at “SLW.” The news brought a smile from both men and a roar from the crowd; however, not everyone was happy. Fuming, Gr8-Scott walked out from the back with the US title belt over his shoulder and Darren Flash, his protégé, close behind. In the aisle, he stopped short of the ring, insulted both all three men, and told Dojj he was being unfair. Dojj pointed out that Scott was due a title defense and both men were the top contenders, but Scott protested saying there was another contender, Darren Flash! With a grin, he informed Dojj that Flash never received his US title shot and deserved the match much more than either Mondo or S1ngular1ty. At this point, Dojj reminded Scott of the fact that Flash “gave” his shot to him, and he went on to win the title; however, after continued protests, Dojj agreed! Everyone, including both Mondo and S1ngular1ty, were visably shocked, but then Dojj fully explained himself. "Flash will get his chance for the shot," he said. "But only if he can defeat Matthew Storm later in the show." Scott complained again, but Dojj waved him off and pointed out that the Storm Vs Flash contract was already signed, and "by the powers vested in him by the Championship Committee," he made it a “US Title Contendership Match.” Now, it was a Mini-Contendership Tournament, and the winner of Mondo Vs S1ngular1ty and Storm Vs Flash would meet at “Viva La NZWA” in a finals match to decide who would be facing Scott at “SLW” for the NZWA US Title. Also, Dojj added, much to Scott's displeasure, that he was BANNED from ringside during the Storm Vs Flash match due to his interference last week! Irate, Scott insulted everyone again, including the crowd, and stormed to the back with a shocked, or confused, Darren Flash following closely in tow. Finally, Dojj told everyone to "strap themselves in," because he was “just getting warmed up,” and it would be one hell of a show! -Storm’s Advice- Matthew Storm nearly jumped up and down in the back ecstatic about his chance at a title shot. With him were his former “Parody Inc” partners, Luke and John, and both men congratulated him and wished him the best of luck; Luke even hinted that they would “help him,” but Storm told them he wanted to do it on his own or "fail trying.” Both men understood, but John looked sad and asked Storm if he knew of any way he and Luke could get a title shot. Luke pointed out that they were both "lost and floundering" at this point. Looking for help, they asked Storm what he did to turn the corner and get back in the thick of things. Storm pointed out that he was "just starting the climb up the ladder," and it wasn’t easy. He suggested that they both needed to “find themselves,” bring something entertaining to the ring, and remember what made them want to wrestle in the first place. Then, he left to begin his match preparation, and both men pondered over his words of advice. -Match One- Mikey Versus The Cleanser (/w Misty) Mikey came out first and appeared to be ready for a brawl, wearing combat boots and jeans; however, he was far from ready for The Cleanser. Led out by Misty, his valet and manager, The Cleanser looked like “Sweet Tooth” from the “Twisted Metal” video game (for those not in the know, he’s a demented, psycho clown), and proceeded to clobber Mikey instantly upon entering the ring (there was a funny moment where Misty did a double take at a sign reading, “Cleanser? Whatteva!”). Mikey tried a few times to get some offense started, but he was outmatched. Cleanser didn’t even attempt to do any real wrestling moves and basically just beat the crap out of Mikey for several minutes. Finally, he lifted him up into a suplex position and dropped him face-first into the mat; after that, it was academic. -Winner: The Cleanser -Cleanser Beatdown and a “Lady” to the Rescue- After the bell rang, the beating continued and Cleanser even punched the official when he tried to intervene. Strutting around the ring smiling and pointing to the mauling, Misty even slapped Mikey when Cleanser shoved his face into the ropes. Several moments later, Mikey was a bloody mess, and Cleanser started dropping him with repeated piledrivers. After the fourth, everyone screamed for help from the back, but sadly the carnage continued. Suddenly, “Lady” Lhia Rose, the new NZWA World Television Champion, ran out and floored Cleanser with a dropkick right in the face. Then, she threw him into the ropes, nailed him with a “leg lariat,” and followed it up with a running knee to the face that sent Cleanser rolling the floor. holding his face, Cleanser acted as if he wanted to return to the ring, but Misty wouldn’t allow it and pulled him back down the aisle against his will. In the ring, Lhia simply stood against the ropes daring him break free and return. -Luke and John’s Departure- Next, the Arena garage was shown, and a taxi was parked waiting for someone. Eventually, John walked into the frame pulling Luke by the arm and opened the backseat door. Luke pulled away and seemed hesitant about whatever John’s plan was. He asked, “Are you sure this is the right thing to do?” John gave a goofy smile and replied, “Can anything be more right? Just trust me, buddy. Remember why we broke into the business?” With those words, Luke nodded in agreement and the two entered the taxi, leaving for whatever awaited them. -Zombie and Parody Try to Dojj Each Other- In his office, Dojj watched the show and seemed happy with it so far, but his smile fell with Parody's arival. The Co-Owner was upset that Dojj didn’t put a member of “The Legacy,” his faction, in the US Contendership Tourney and demanded that the matches be changed. Dojj started to say something, but then Zombie walked in telling Parody to go “F” himself and that he agreed with Dojj's decision; however, he then asked that Cruel and Prophecy, members of his “Violence” faction, be allowed to have a tag title match. Fuming, Parody refused to allow Devil and Monster, members of “Legacy,” to defend against anyone in “Violence,” and the two continued arguing face-to-face like a clip from Jerry Springer. Finally, Dojj asked both of them to quiet down or get out of his office. The Owners glanced at him, but continued to argue, and Dojj had to yell to get their attention. Then, irritated, he informed Parody that the Contendership matches were set and no changes would be made. In addition, he told Zombie that “The Bastards” already signed a match for the show, so “Violence” would not get a title shot later. Sadly, this news only brought a moment of silence before the two Owners started bickering again, and shoving each other. Eventually, Dojj called for security to pull them apart, but Zombie got the last laugh: Amongst the chaos, he called someone on his cell and gave an order. Then, he informed Parody that his car was being towed from the garage. Screaming obscenities, Parody stormed off out of sight, but vowed to get even. -Match Two- <NZWA US Title Contendership Tournament, Semi-Final Match> Matthew Storm Versus Darren Flash A rematch from a couple of weeks ago, Storm and Flash picked up where they left off by tearing up the ring and nearly stealing the show.. The pace was intense; the blows were hard and stiff; and the chain-wrestling kept everyone on the edge of their seat. Occasionally, Flash tried to resort to cheating, but he seemed to hesitate each time, allowing Storm to stay one step ahead. After several minutes of action, Flash got the upper hand with a swinging neck-breaker and lifted Storm onto the top turnbuckle going for a “superplex.” Unfortunately, Storm blocked the move, reversed it, and front suplexed Flash face-first to the mat. Then, he lept off nailing the “Storm Warning,” his “450 splash,” for the win, advancing into the finals of the US Contendership tournament at “Viva La NZWA.” After the match, Gr8-Scott met Flash at the entrance stage and started verbally berating him for the loss. Still smarting and exhausted, Flash simply nodded and followed his Idol to the back. Meanwhile, Storm celebrated with the fans around ringside. -Winner: Matthew Storm (Storm advances into the US Contendership Title Tournament Finals at “Viva La NZWA!!”) -Era of The Machine- Machine, the NZWA World Heavyweight Champion, sat backstage on a locker room bench with a towel over his head and the title belt lying across his waist. Michelle, the Uprising backstage interviewer, requested to ask him about his later title defense against MiMiC and his thoughts on the huge upcoming “Triple Threat Match” against JR and NZDude at “SLW.” At first, it seemed that the Champ would totally ignore her, as if he was deep in thought, but then he broke his silence, even giving Michelle a start. Briefly, he talked about “SLW” and said that he would "walking in and out the NZWA World Champion." Also, he mentioned a “respect” for NZDude, but said that JR was a “coward” who was only in the business because of his father. “People have been carrying JR’s ass his entire career, and I’m not going to be any different,” Machine said. “The only difference is I’m carrying his sorry ass to a five-star match and show him why this title is around my waist.” Michelle wanted to continue asking about JR, “The Legacy,” and the like, but Machine cut her off by mentioning MiMiC, who he referred to as a “tough challenge.” Machine said he respected what MiMiC had accomplished in the NZWA, but it was the “Era of the Machine,” and he would steamroll over the former US Champion later in the show. After this, the Champ told Michelle to leave, as he needed to finish preparing for his title defense. -Zombie Burns a Dollar- Lexington Dollar, Parody's right-hand man in "The Legacy," complete with a smug look on his face, was shown yelling at Zombie, who just left the restroom. Dollar wanted to know who Zombie thought he was by having Parody’s car towed, and started hurling insults like a drunken sailor. Yawning, Zombie simply shoved his hand into Dollar’s face, pushed him away, and responded by telling him to “F” off. Surprisingly, Dollar started laughing and informed Zombie that he finally got a taste of his own medicine, but much, much worse. Zombie gave a confused look, and Dollar finally divulged that “The Legacy” just set his car on fire (sirens could barely be heard in the background). Zombie stood silent for a few seconds and replied, “I don’t have a car here.” “Oh, yes you do!” Dollar responded full of venom and went on to explain how they torched Zombie’s black mustang convertible. After another minute or two, Zombie began laughing and told Dollar that his mustang was in a garage at his home. Furthermore, Zombie said he took a limousine to the show. Horrified, Dollar then demanded to know the owner of the now-flaming car in the lot, but Zombie didn’t know. Then, some guy ran by screaming, “Someone call the Fire Department! The Mayor’s car is on fire!” -Match Three- <Non-Title Tag Team Match> AT Sunshine and Juggernaught Versus “The Bastards” Devil and Monster (c) Sunshine and Juggernaught were two developmental guys getting their first taste of the NZWA experience; sadly, it was against two of the most evil wrestlers in the company. When “The Bastards” came out, it was to a chorus of boos that only increased when Monster, who had a microphone, started talking about how they “destroyed the first couple of the NZWA” at the last show. Monster described himself and Devil as “the world’s baddest tag team,” and even found the time to continue his Varjay bashing by calling him a “piece of garbage” and “worthless.” The match itself was basically a lesson in “Bastard domination,” as the Tag Champs proceeded to destroy both rookies ruthlessly. Officially, this had to be one of the quickest matches in NZWA history, as Monster beat Juggernaught to a pulp before hurling him from the ring, and Devil massacred Sunshine with a spinning “Death Valley Bomb.” Seconds later, they planted Sunshine with a double chokeslam, and Devil covered the youngster with one finger for the quick win. The match was over, but “The Bastards” were far from finished. -Winners: “The Bastards” Devil and Monster -Bastard Attack and a REAL Debut- Taking turns, Devil and Monster started beating the living hell out of Sunshine, and in moments, the rookie was a bloody mess. Each time Juggernaught tried to intervene, they attacked him, brutalized him for a few moments, and tossed him from the ring. With the fans screaming for someone to help, Monster locked Sunshine in an “Ankle Lock” and held the youngster screaming in agony as his partner repeatedly kicked him in the ribs. It was too much, but help did come. Suddenly, “Real American” by Rick Derringer (yes, Hulk Hogan’s theme song) started blasting throughout the arena, and the lights dazzled red, white, and blue. The crowd erupted, and moments later, Luke and John ran out dressed up like Hogan (complete with bandanas and weight belts), but wearing the colors of the American flag instead of red and yellow. Rolling into the ring, the two went after the confused “Bastards” and made short work of each by knocking them out of the ring. Devil quickly rolled back in, but Luke caught him and threw him off the ropes into a “big boot” from John. Seconds later, Luke came down with the “Atomic Legdrop,” and the crowd went nuts. Seizing the opportunity, Monster slid back into the ring with a chair and cracked John across the back with it. The blow dropped him to a knee, but he quickly shot up with a familiar “crazed look” in his eye. Flabbergasted, Monster started punching him, but when John started “hulking up,” he took a powder to the outside. Irritated, John took his frustrations out on Devil, who he returned to the mat with a huge slam. Then, Luke followed up the move up by sending Devil toppling through the ropes with an “Axe Bomber.” With the Tag Champs dazed and confused in the aisle, John took the microphone and gave one of the strangest promos in recent memory: “You’re reign of terror is over with, brother!” John said in a Hogan-esque tone. “The bullies on the block better watch out, cause we’re back, and we’re giving it back.” “Yeah, brother!” Luke quickly added before walking away to strike more poses. “We’ve climbed to the highest mountains. We’ve swam across the deepest oceans. We’ve wrestled tornadoes,” John continued with Luke breaking in to deliver another “Brother.” “And we’ve tackled typhoons! We’ve said our prayers, taken our vitamins, and we’ve come back to kick your ass!” Devil and Monster simply stood in disbelief at what they saw. Both, like most in the back, thought Luke and John were washed up and over; the crowd’s reaction proved them wrong. Not knowing whether to attempt another attack or run, both men were glad to see Lexington Dollar walk out and wave them to the back. This would wait until another day. “At Sex, Lies, and Wrestling, we’re calling you out,” John continued. “Brother,” Luke added. “We’re gonna stand you next to the mountain and chop it down with the edge of our hand!” “Where do you idiots think you can get off challenging us?” Dollar’s voice was grating and irritated. ”You two idiots have to be smoking something if you think we’re going to give a shot to a couple of morons like you! What do you think you’re going to do?” “No, Dollar,” John interrupted, “It’s not what we’re gonna do!” “That’s right, brother,” Luke added, and Dollar started to stammer as the crowd reaction grew anticipating the next phrase and cried in vain.. “NO! No, you don’t!” “It’s whatcha gonna do!” An ovation rose from the crowd, the standard reaction for that famous line. “Whatcha gonna do, Dollar? Bastards? Whatcha gonna do when The Real Americans run WILD all OVER YOU!” With the crowd screaming and Dollar stomping irate, the newly dubbed Hollywood John and Hulk Logan started tearing their shirts and striking Hogan poses for the crowd as their theme hit. “The Bastards” and Dollar just shook their heads in disbelief and covered their ears. After a few moments yelling insults from the stage, they stormed to the back leaving “TRA” to continue posing for the crowd. -JR Brooding- Stomping around in his locker room, JR was irritated. Not surprising really, since JR was always irritated, but this time he was really on the verge of caving someone’s head in. Not only did two Hogan wannabes just embarrass Devil, Monster, and Dollar, but his father, Zombie, was also making Parody look foolish since the show began. JR was slowly, but surely growing tired of the army of idiots surrounding him, but he needed someone on his side, people to aid him in achieving his ultimate goal. He heard and saw Machine earlier, and saw the title belt, his title belt. It was a craving he couldn’t describe, and not until he first held the gold over his head did he really understand. It was his belt. Machine was just keeping it warm for him. ”Soon, I’m coming for mine,” he said staring at a picture of Machine taped to the wall. Scarred and torn, it bore a huge “X” marked across its face. “And I’m not stopping until I get back what was stolen from me.” Looking away, he stared at another picture of NZDude lying on the floor. “And punish the bastard who stole it, by any means necessary.” Walking out of the room, JR stopped briefly, spat on Dude’s photo, and stomped it into the ground. -A Feather For Parody- “Where is that bastard?” Parody’s shout startled an assistant previously distracted by the information on his clipboard. “WHERE IS HE?” “I, I don’t know, sir, his office?” Irritated, Parody walked off, and after continuing down a hallway, kicked open the door of an office. He started to yell, but found the office empty save for a single folding chair, on which a piece of paper sat. Picking it up, Parody began to read: “If you’ve found this, then you’re a bigger idiot than I think you are. When are you going to learn that I will always be a step ahead of you? Lose the mask and pull up your underwear, Putz, because you just got Punk’d, Zombie style. Oh, by the way, don’t look up." Reading that line, Parody looked up even angrier that before. There he saw a small clock attached to a box, suspended from the ceiling; the timer on the clock hit “zero” seconds after its face met his eyes. Then, an alarm sounded, the bottom of the box opened, and a gallon of thick, black liquid fell covering him from head to toe. “Damn it! You, damn it!” Turning, Parody pulled the door open again to leave, and in doing so heard a “pop” seconds before a hundred feathers hit him at full force. Rising to his feet muttering curses and shaking with anger, Parody noticed the wire recently tied around the doorknob and followed it across the hall where it was attached to another box formerly filled with the feathers he now wore. Seething, he spoke full of hatred, “Of course you know, this means war.” -The Omegadawn Rises- Coming back from the break, the theme for Omegadawn began to play, and the NZWA Deathmatch Champion walked out through the stage fire on his way to the ring. The Deathmatch title slung across his shoulder, he was dressed in his wrestling gear and carried a chain. Stopping momentarily on the apron, he took in the mixed reaction from the crowd and methodically stepped into the ring. Omegadawn grabbed the microphone and started by going over his record in the NZWA. His three World Titles, holding the World Tag Titles alone, and the numerous people he has defeated, all of these he mentioned. “Deathmatch Champion? Every time some poor bastard steps in the ring with me, it’s a Deathmatch,” he said looking down at his title. “Lately, everyone has been overlooking me and what I do. Other people get their World title shots, and I get to stand in the back. Punk ass kids come out of the woodwork dropping my name trying to make theirs. Owners draw cards to see where they can play me. Tonight, it ends. Tonight, I show everyone exactly why I am the measuring stick for this company and this business.” Walking over to the corner, he fastened his Deathmatch title belt around the turnbuckle to surprised looks from the crowd and questions from the announce team. Slowly, he wound the chair around the belt and buckle tight and placed a padlock through the links to hold it in place. Finally, he took a key on a chain from his tights and placed it around his neck; it was the key to the lock. “This is my title, and it’s supposed to be defended in no-holds-barred matches. Tonight, I’m issuing an open challenge to any and everybody in the back. If anyone is bad enough to walk out here, take this key from around my neck, and take this belt, then you can have it. And, hell, I’ll even shake your hand. Just be warned, though. I ain’t giving anything away, but pain.” Even as he finished his sentence, a group of people ran out storming the ring. Most of them were “dark match” workers or openers, but they came at Omegadawn from all sides with a fury. Unfortunately, for them, the Deathmatch Champion was up to task. With shove, Omegadawn sent three guys sprawling. He dropped another with a punch, and blocking a lariat from another, he planted the poor guy in the mat with a thunderous chokeslam. Melvin tried attacking him from behind with a chair, but the blow seemed to irritate Omegadawn, and he drove a hard right hand into the chair causing it to blast Melvin square in the face. After flooring another with a huge boot to the face, press slamming another to the outside, and dropping a third with an “Omega Bomb,” the Deathmatch Champion spotted Whatteva rolling into the ring with a chair. He took the blow at full force, and only staggered backwards. Almost on instinct, Omegadawn reached out stopping a charging Whatteva in his tracks, lifted him into the air, and spun around planting him with a “Baldo Bomb.” Rising, he picked up a chair thinking of using it, but after looking around the ring at the carnage he created, he dropped the chair on Whatteva’s dazed form, wiped his brow, and flipped his fingers in Whatteva’s face. Then, the Deathmatch Champion unlocked his title belt, walked slowly through the bodies lying around the ring, and headed to the back with the title belt still in his possession. -Zombie Gets Cubed- Sitting against the wall, Zombie sat reading information from a clipboard and sipping hot coco from a mug with a skull on it. He appeared to be quite content and even smiled at a passerby who complimented him on the “great show.” Nodding, Zombie returned to his information, but was thrown from his chair when a huge equipment locker came reeling into him from behind at full speed. Cursing, he tried to pull himself up, but a kick to his ribs sent him back to the floor. “The Triplets” were on the attack. Sent by an irate Parody, Brutal, Wrath, and Pain each took turns trying to stomp Zombie into the floor. After a few moments, Wrath pulled a bloody Zombie to his feet and held him while his partners got more shots in. Then, he slammed Zombie head-first into the concrete wall, and the owner slumped across the nearby table. Brutal walked over and pulled Zombie back up, getting a fist in the jaw for his trouble; Zombie still had fire in him, but he was battered and no match for three strong men. Pain and Brutal immediately began throttling him with forearms and fists, and finally, Pain lifted Zombie into the air and sent him crashing through the table with a powerbomb. A little too late, Dojj ran onto the scene with security and ordered the three to step back. Satisfied with their mission accomplished, they complied, but The Commissioner soon wiped the smiles from the faces by informing them they were thrown out of the building. Walking up out of nowhere, Lexington Dollar started to argue, but Dojj stopped him and mentioned that he was allowing “The Triplets” to be booked in a match of Zombie’s choosing at “Viva La NZWA.” Irate, Dollar threatened that it would upset Parody, but Dojj told him to inform Parody that he could “stuff it” if he found fault with his decision. Then, security escorted “The Triplets” from the building as EMTs looked to the fallen Zombie. -Match Four- <NZWA US Title Contendership Tournament, Semi-Final Match> S1ngular1ty Versus “Sick” Chris Mondo Shaking hands before the match, S1ngular1ty and Mondo threw off all respect as the bell rang to start the match. Immediately, the two began trading stiff shots and took turns toppling each other to the canvas and to the floor. The match itself was a very close, heated affair with both men trying to put the other out of commission; S1ngular1ty by nailing Mondo with a “frogsplash” at one point, and Mondo by clamping on an “STF” on S1ngular1ty. At the halfway point in the contest, both men were battered, but neither showed any signs of quit. Then, it happened. During a quick exchange of clotheslines and counters, the official wound up caught by an errant shoulder tackle. Even though the official was down, neither man stopped and continued their assault on each other with S1ngular1ty winning by countering a slam with a reverse DDT. Spotting the opening, he quickly launched himself in the ropes and nailed a beautiful running moonsault, but with an incapacitated official, there was no one to count. With S1ngular1ty distracted, Clingman came out from the crowd with a lead pipe in his hands. Rolling in the ring, he waited until the masked man turned and decked him with the pipe knocking him unconscious. Then, he blasted the rising Mondo with the pipe and pulled him on top of S1ngular1ty before leaving ringside! When the official finally came to, he saw Mondo covering S1ngular1ty and counted the THREE COUNT giving Mondo the win. Going to the break, both men were still unconscious, and the official just stood in the ring confused. -Winner: “Sick” Chris Mondo (Mondo advances to meet Matthew Storm in the US Contendership Title Tournament Finals at “Viva La NZWA!!”) -Exit Clingman- After the break, the announcers replayed the footage of Clingman leaving the Arena shot during the commercials. In the video, Michelle walked up to Clingman as he entered the backstage area, but he brushed her off and continued down the hallways toward the parking garage. Michelle fired question after question, but Clingman completely ignored her until she asked “why.” “Because he screwed me and Kaz, that’s why. That bastard agreed to step in and help us, but all he did was turn his back on us. He’s the reason we lost those belts, and when he wakes up, I hope he gets a small taste of what that felt like.” Looking into the camera, Clingman continued with a crazed look in his eyes. “I did this S1ngular1ty. I did this to you. I’m the reason you won’t hold gold, and as long as I’m in this company, you never will. Rot in hell, mystery man.” Then, Clingman climbed into a waiting cab and drove away. -Zombie Awakes- In the ambulance, Zombie awoke to find himself a bloody, battered mess. Questioning the paramedic, he learned that Parody sent “The Triplets” after him and of their punishment next week at Dojj’s hand. With a sadistic grin, Zombie rolled over and said, “Next week, they’ll learn. Oh yes, they’ll learn.” -A Violent Legacy?- Newly changed and grinning, Parody strutted down a hallway with Lexington Dollar close behind. Pleased with their earlier attack, the two discussed how “The Legacy” will dominate wrestling, when Cruel, a member of Zombie’s “Violence” faction, chargeed out of a nearby room and sent Dollar head-over-heels with a lariat. Screaming, Parody nailed Cruel with a punch in self-defense as Prophecy, another “Violence” member, appeared. Apparently responding to their leader’s shout, “The Bastards” then rushed in to join the fray followed closely by Masked Man of “Violence.” Then, a huge brawl ensued with Dojj calling for security, who only added to the chaos when the factions refused to cease fighting. Coming out of the brawl, Parody stood near Dojj with an irritated look on his face and demanded that all of the “Violence” members be thrown out of the building; however, Dojj denied his request. Then, Parody shoved Dojj insulting him and stormed off leaving Dojj with an angry, worried look on his face. -Match Five- <NZWA World Heavyweight Title Match> MiMiC Versus The Machine (c) MiMiC came out to a great reaction from the crowd, and the pop for the NZWA World Heavyweight Champion, The Machine, was huge. Both wrestlers kept their distance from each other during the introductions, and their handshake at the opening bell garnered applause throughout the Arena. Their match was a technical wrestling lesson, as they took it too the mat early on, each attempting to “out wrestle” the other. After Machine reversed a hold and nearly locked in the “X-Lock,” MiMiC seemed hesitant to return to the canvas, and the contest took a slightly different route as they traded blows. Dazing the Champion, MiMiC hurled him into the ropes, but Machine came roaring back off flooring him with a huge lariat. After another stiff exchange, MiMiC had the upper hand and dropped Machine with a “Northern Lights Bomb,” but instead of covering, he climbed the turnbuckle going for a moonsault, an unorthodox move on his part, and it didn’t pay off, as Machine got his knees up. Quickly rising to his feet, the Champion lifted MiMiC into a “Northern Lights Bomb” of his own, but only got a “two count.” Pulling him up again, Machine dropped the Challenger with another, but again MiMiC surprisingly kicked out at “two.” Slightly frustrated, Machine pulled him up and dropped him again, but instead of covering MiMiC, lifted him up again, dropping him with the “182.” This time MiMiC was unable to kick out, and the official counted the pinfall giving Machine the win. After the announcements were made, Machine walked over, helped MiMiC up to a sitting position, and patted him on the back. -Winner: The Machine (Machine retains the NZWA World Heavyweight Title) Suddenly, JR appeared on the NZ Tron with a demented look on his face. He started insulting Machine and MiMiC, and told the Champion to “learn how to wrestle.” JR said that he was going to make sure Machine didn’t make it to “SLW," and he would face “that stealing bastard” NZDude one-on-one. Then, before Machine could respond, JR told him that at “Viva La NZWA,” he was “done,” and the Tron went black. With the announcers questioning what JR was going to try, the last shot was of an angered Machine standing against the ropes with the title belt over his shoulder. -Return to Main- |
