| Updated 12 Sept 2003 Hey everyone, thanks for checking out my page! This page has a heap of memories of my time spent in Saitama, Japan between August 2002-August 2003 and now that I have returned to NZ, it will be updated occassionaly to keep all my mates up to date with my adventures! I've been back in New Zealand for a month basically just settling back into the cruisey life here. I bought a car, a 96 Subaru Impreza that you will find somewhere on this site! Still looking for work right now, just been doing the odd day relief teaching. Spending most days hanging at home, going to the gym and hanging out with my mates! Just after I came back home, Kimie, one of my student at Niiza High came to stay with me for a week. She had been in Christchurch for 3 weeks before she came to stay with me studying at this excellent language school for children/young adults. She really loved it here and wants to come back and study at Alpha again! Marcus had his 21st birthday last Saturday (September 6th) and we had a great party at the surf club. He is off to London, England in 2 days to go on a working holiday for a year! Lucky! |

| Update 17 August 2004 Kia Ora! It's been ages since I last updated this page and I thought I might as well try to revive it! It' now been a year since I returned to the land of the long white cloud and many things have happened! I got a new car, a new job, a new boyfriend, a new kitten and a new flat. (All in that order too!) My car is a sporty wee Subaru impreza that I picked up just after I arrived back to NZ, it's treated me well so far, got me around the South Island over New Years on my road trip with Sarah, Nova, Porchia, Nikki, Cat and Chery-Anne. My job is teaching 11-12 year old children at Shirley Intermediate School, it's an extremely challenging class, but I have learn't a hell of a lot! My boyfriend is a Pom! Yes, I scored myself a nice English boy! His name is Neil and we met through my soccer club, Western. He had only been in Christchurch for a couple of weeks before I snatched him under my wings! He's an awesome guy and works as an archetectial technician - flash aye! My kittern is Becky. Full name Becky Boo Toomey. Nicknames include: Rabbit, Boo and Dirtbag. She is soooo cute! I' m now just waiting for her to get pregnant so we can have wee babies around! My new flat is just up the road from my dad's! I'm living here with Neil (of course!) and my best mate Mikey. (oh and of course wee Becky!) It's a big house with beautiful wooden floors and a huge back yard and front yard! It's gonna be great in Summer! Yesterday and today it snowed. I love snow, it just makes everything look so pretty. I was looking up to the sky this morning when it was snowing and as I was looking at the snowflakes thinking how beautiful they looked, I wondered if ash falling from a volcanic explosion looked as beautiful as snowflakes as they fell..... hmmmm. Hopefully I won't ever be in that situation! |
