Club Details
The Southland Recreational Hunting Club was started in 1979  in Invercargill  NewZealand. It  is  an incorporated society and it holds its monthly meetings at 7.30pm on the last Monday of every month in  the  St  Johns hall on Tay st  Invercargill. Anybody  is  welcome  to come  along.  We  have   40  members from all different walks of life. To join the Club you have to go on 3 hunting trips with club members, and go to 3 meeting..

   The Club By-Laws are as follows: -
 
  1,   While hunting treat all property with the consideration it deserves.
  2,   That the basic firearms safety rules be followed.
  3,   The sale of wild game meat is prohibited. Subject to clause 3a.
  3a,  Any club member who wishes to hunt for financial gain must give a reason to a
        committee of at least 3 committee member as to the purpose of it.
  4,   That in the event of the club being wound up, financial members will have the
        opportunity to purchase the clubs equipment at a reasonable price. The money from
        any such sale to be passed on to the organisation of the clubs choise as per the
        constitution.
  5,   Any monetary gains achieved by the Club whilst on an eradication programme will be
        used solely for the education and promotion of Hunting, Training, and safety programs.
