Every morning she slowly slips out of bed and opens her restless eyes
Thinking of new ways to slip through their tricky lies
To make it through another wasted day
Trying so hard not to lose to that boiling pain
Devising ways to not listen to their burning words
Why do they say those empty things, they don't know her
Every time she feels up they push her down
When every she gets close to that blue sky
They always leave her crying alone on the ground
Right after the sun it always seems to rain
And no matter how hard she tries it all ends the same
