Goodnight Mike Quinn

Slipping into a room overflowing with endless sadness
No one imagined so much excitement would end in this
Gazing silently into a box of emptiness
They say he's happy, now full of bliss

Everything flows through my mind
All of this will worsen over time
A simple drug with the power to slaughter
Or was it a saddened mind that allowed it to occur
We desired the best and believe he's at harmony
But I can't help but imagine he's still wondering the earth with us

Dear friend in your silent slumber
You were always as close as a brother
I'll never forget the wisdom you've given to me
Goodnight forever to your endless sleep

Mike was at the young age of 19 trying to recover from a drug habbit but didn't make it... He was a close friend and was loved by so many... So many kids just like him will soon meet the same fait let's try to learn from his deadly mistake and not let his death be in vain.
