Background
After completing his Commerce degree at the University of Otago.
Trevor joined the Dunedin accounting firm of W.E.C. Reid & Co in
1961. The firm later became part of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu,   
and Trevor entered the partnership in 1973, specialising in     
taxation.                                                       

In 1997 he established his own accounting firm, T J Mason & Co, 
specialising in taxation and corporate operational consulting.  
Trevor was invited to the Board of Wilson Neill in 1997 and was 
elected Chairman in 1998.
