Background
Until 1995 Terry was a professional in the banking industry.
He had a long career with the Bank of New Zealand including 
appointments as Loans Manager, Auckland, his corporate      
clients included both Montana Wines and Penfolds Wines;     
District Manager, Otago-Southland; District Manager,        
Auckland; Chief Manager Group Personnel, Regional Manager   
Consumer Banking South Island. Terry owns property in West  
Melton, Canterbury, where he grows grapes and olives and he 
is a committee member of the Grape Growers' Association.
