Background
Since her time as a reforming New Zealand Minister of Finance from
1990-1993, Ruth has established her own strategic and economic    
policy advice consultancy, meeting a significant global demand for
advice on New Zealand's economic reforms. She also has            
considerable involvement in the local and international business  
community being the Chairman of Cardinal Group Australia Pty      
Limited, Dairy Brands NZ Limited, Morningstar Pty Limited and the 
Pacific Investment Capital Fund; a director of Trans Alta New     
Zealand Limited, Oyster Bay Marlborough Vineyards Limited,        
Wrightson Limited and a non-Executive director of the Reserve Bank
of New Zealand.
