TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION                            Houston, TX
Engineer Intern.
Responsibilities include preparing signing pavement marking plans, including layouts, details, summaries, and estimates.  Also assist with Signal Warrant analysis and studies and other design and analysis duties as necessary.  Additionally District Special Events Coordinator.  Responsible for processing requests for use of State right-of-way.

Feb. - Oct. 2006
LOPEZGARCIA GROUP                                                                  Houston, TX
Engineer Intern.
 Responsibilities include performing various duties pertaining to the design of various transportation systems, including roadway, and traffic control design. Also perform hydraulic analysis and design, and plans production for bridge replacement and roadway widening projects using Microstation Geopak, HEC-RAS analysis, and CULVERT analysis.

Engineer Intern.

~ Roadway Design. Tasks accomplished include drainage design, setting horizontal and vertical alignments, reviewing and editing project estimates, and checking plans for errors.
~ ODOT EIT Rotation Program participant. Responsibilities included assisting and participating with ODOT Engineers and other employees performing various duties pertaining to the planning, construction and maintenance of Oklahoma's transportation system.


June - Aug. 2001
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION                            Dallas, TX
Summer Engineering Technician.
  Assisted Design and Survey teams in the Southeast Dallas Area Office.  Responsibilities included creating design plans for section of IH45 emergency access gate for HOV Lane under supervision of licensed Professional Engineer.  Also responsible for determining materials quantities for construction project from plan sheets.

Student Employee.  Responsibilities included generating creative and functional documents to be used in assisting educators develop effective teaching methods, filing, and other clerical duties to assist the office staff. Also reconstructed the webpage.

 Responsibilities included greeting customers as they enter the restaurant and showing them to an appropriate seat.  Also responsible for light maintenance of the dining area and the restrooms.
