Boron
Boron is a trace mineral known to be lacking in Australian and New Zealand soils. Research shows that in areas where the soil is low in boron there are higher levels of arthritis and osteoporosis

Two areas where boron seems particularly important include bone health(including osteoporosis and arthritis) and menopause.

Boron reduces urinary excretion of calcium by 44% and markedly reduces magnesium excretion. It also enhances the formation of vitamin D which is needed for intestinal absorption of calcium.
