This years edition of the Marett Madness attracted slightly fewer numbers than last year, which was probably due to the numbers of the club taking the Hastings Half (held the day after) a little more seriously this year.

There were seven teams of three, who were selected by team captains. These team captains were the seven Junior men who were present, which made for some interesting combinations as some of the club members were unknown to the new members!

As it turned out there was still some interesting racing with the team of Hogan Green, Sheila Smidt and Alan (I'm not running because I'm racing tommorrow) Heywood just holding out Wayne Smith, Katie Harris and Rory Diver.

Fastest laps went to new member Katie Harris for the women and Stefan Smith for the men
