| Although there are no pictures in the Ladies Mirror of those who attended the garden party at Government House in 1922, a great deal was written, describing in detail the outfits that were worn. Viscountess Jellicoe, the wife of the Governor General wore ..bronze-coloured satin draped with georgette, bronze feather boa and becoming hat of the same shade. Her daughter, Miss Lucy Jellicoe was in mole charmeuse embroidered with turquoise and hat to match. Another guest. Miss Rosina Blackman wore charmeuse and handsome furs, black hat with touches of gold. |
