Chicago
In November 1999 when working in Indy - Dave and I did a weekend mission up to Chicago and met Eugene who came down from further up North. We did some touristy things to keep us busy so we didn't have to think about the All Blacks not being in the Rugby World Cup Final. I really liked Chicago - I could live there if the weather was not so nasty in winter....very cool for a visit though.

Me at Navy Peir. The big City behind me.

Navy Peir - Crazy stilt guy acting like a monkey on the gate
Sears Tower - I don't think those people are really handys at all!!

Ferris wheels really put the wind up me!

Dave likes ferris wheels - he even managed his trademark photo face

This is a big glass thing on Navy Peir - I wish I had some golf clubs...

This is me inside the big glass thing. Those arches are streams of water....what will they think of Next???

We decided to take a cruise up the river to check out the architecture....how cultured. It was actually really cool - You can see Michigan Ave in the background and Uno Corona in the front

This building is one Al Capone used to hang out in. It has an elevator that can take a car right to the top so you don't need to worry about being shot while getting in and out. It looks way classier that the place of his I saw on Alcatraz.

Here is one of the many bridges that go over the river. You can see the sears tower in the background.

Eugene and Dave with the cruise boat we caught in the distance.

This is cool - A bike that six people can ride at once and one person steers...I want one!!
