Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz....on the Pacific coast of California....a place where skateboarding never died. It was actually very nice - friendly people, good restaurants and fun bars. As much as I would like to live there - I don't think I will be shelling out US$400,000 for a crappy little three bedroom just yet.

Downtown.....lotsa trees and sun - nothing wrong with that.

Out on the boardwalk......looking back toward the beach and amusement park. I think that is Steinlager II is off to the right.

Part of the road between Santa Cruz and San Fran....bits of it were similar to NZ. They also had planes with radars to stop you speeding???

Look - a lighthouse!! I actually saw a model shoot for Guess at this very spot on TV!! Seems I must have missed my calling....oh well.....
