Resources: Web Design with HTML

My first experience with HTML was in 1997 when I decided to teach myself. I learned my basic knowlege of HTML using the book HTML for dummies 4. I found it extremely helpful but without a formal class room environment, most dummies (like myself), will only read what is pertinent and helpful at that very moment. To properly learn would be to read through the book cover to cover and put it to practice.

Instead, I enrolled at Iowa Central Community College. Using the Web Design Book, I was able to learn the importance of meta tags, search engine requirements, tables and more. The websites I created were basic to say the least however, they show the progression of my expertise in the field.
