Second Semester

As part of my cirriculum, I have been required to create a progress report. I will update it as each semester and midterm passes to keep it current.

Total semester hours complete for first semester is 16. Visual Basic 1 was not included in my schedule at the beginning of the semester and the error was overlooked until the beginning of the 2 nd semester when it was time to enroll in Visual Basic 2. This class is needed to satisfy current degree requirements. At this time my advisors, Michelle Beets and Marc Mathes are trying arrange an internet course for this summer to bring my current requirements up to date. If this is not possible, I will be required to take both classes during my third and fourth semesters in order to graduate on time. Employee Relations was mistakenly substituted for Visual Basic 1 and is not required until the second and third semesters. In an attempt to lighten the course load for third and fourth semester, I have taken Sociology, which may replace the remaining Employee Relations courses.

Summary

Current classes are going as expected although personal problems have hindered my attendance, affecting my overall grades for the mid term. I do not expect these unusual circumstances to arise again. I expect to finish this semester with the minimum GPA of 3.25 to maintain my membership in PTK.

Although the last two semesters have a heavier class load than previous semesters, I have made arrangements to lighten the load in my personal life to compensate. I expect to reach my personal goal of graduating with honors along with my oldest son Wayne in May 2005.
