I am grateful for the trust and appointment that the Region has bestowed upon me and my officers. The New York State Officers are:

Ricardo Nazario-Colon is our Immediate Past State Director.
The New York State Officers Goals are as follow:
1. Facilitate chapter programming- ensuring that the chapters enact the three national programs. Provide assistance or expertise in programming.
2. Recruit, Reactivate and Retention- We as chapter officers & �brothers of the dove� have an obligation to uphold. Our Regional Director and his assistant have outlined many chapters in the region that they feel, in their opinion, need a �boost in numbers�. New York did not escape this opinion in some of our areas. Membership is the heart of any organization. We need to recruit new members into our fold. We need to reactivate those brothers who were lost or who WE have lost along the way. Together we must challenge and channel events with the goal of membership retention.
3. Conduit of All Information- The New York State Office will serve as the clearinghouse of all information locally, regionally and nationally. In addition the office will serve to clarify policy and any other information that needs explaining.
4. Sigma Beta- Part of our recruitment is through advertisement. What better way than through the initiatives of Sigma Beta Club members!!! Some of our current Regional & National officers were once Sigma Beta members. Let�s do what it takes to actively sponsor these young men who are all around us.
5. Sigma / Zeta Relationship- Charity starts at home. Let�s do our part in continuing to strengthen the bond of brotherly & sisterly love. Let�s sponsor & support each others events.
I hope that each and everyone of you will do your part in bringing the excitement BACK to New York that was once known as �Sigma Land�!!!
