US fans, the "Miss You" cd single is out in stores now so go out and purchase it! You can find it at FYE or Tower Records.

On May 3rd - Saturday in NY, the Entertainment Industry Foundation (where we send our contributions to Aaliyah's Memorial Fund) and The New York Times will be sponsoring the 6th annual Run/Walk For Women. Over 55,000 men, women, and children will join in Times Square/Central Park in support of women battling cancer. This is something that Aaliyah supported and participated in so it would be nice to see her fans represent and join.

Aaliyahs lovely ballad "Miss You" is becoming an anthem for many with friends and family involved in the war in Iraq for its chorus of "Its been too long and Im lost without you/What am I gonna do ... Is your heart still mine? I wanna cry sometimes/I miss you." The song, which is really about losing touch with an old boyfriend, was written years ago by Aaliyah. "It's eerie that the song was written by her, who we continue to miss, and that it's able to be used now by so many others," said David Nathan, vice president of promotion at Universal/Motown Records. "But 'Miss You' is obviously a good phrase to use to describe troops overseas."

Rolling Stone magazine spoke with DMX about his automobiles in their Rock Star Rides feature. DMX says all his cars have names. "Aaliyah's the name of my '63 Impala - car's dedicated to Aaliyah. I have a mural on the trunk. I have a picture of her on the steering wheel. The car has chrome pumps for the hydraulic system, and underneath it is chrome... automatic sunroof... it's a beautiful car." X says he paid $50,000 for the car, the most he's paid for an automobile.

At TLC's final performance in New Jersey in June they will perform a tribute to Aaliyah and come other artists that haved passed away.

Well it looks like "Come Over," the second single off of "I Care 4 U," will be pushed back to April 29th, 2003. Lets just hope they release a single soon to boost sales for the album.

Lucky UK fans, the video for "Don't Know What To Tell Ya" has already been released and is said to be getting heavy rotation. Here's what Kri Kri from the Aaliyah Online message board had to say about it... "Basically, it starts off showing a new picture and how it's from "Miss You," then it flashes to the beat, and all the video is unseen footage from 'Miss You' and ALL of her videos apart from her 'Age Ain't Nothing But A #' days ones, on the first 'T-R-U-S-T' and 'L-O-V-E' the letters come up in see thru and red. It`s wickedddddddddddd i`m tellin' ya, so look out for it everyone!"

Incase you didn't know already, Jay Z has done a remix to "Miss You" and the track has leaked onto radio. It's been getting quite a buzz latley and has been heard in the NYC, Detroit, Dallas, Houston, and Baltimore areas. If you want to hear it, call up your radio stations and demand they play it. I've heard it and it's really good.

Remember to come back soon!
