A total of 20 Logo's shall be installed (10 regular PBA Teams, 2 All-Star Teams, 4 RP Teams, 3 Legends Teams, & 1 PBA Logo for free agents & Legends). You will of course need to install a PBA Roster Patch to appreciate this patch. Unless, of course, if you prefer to create your own pba roster. Unzip the file "pbalogo_beta.zip" into a directory of your choice. 2. After unzipping, you should now have a 'PBA_Logo' directory w/c contains 6 files & 5 directories namely: Files: eazip.exe getnba2k3.exe getnba2k3.txt install.bat readme_1st.txt uninstall_pbalogo.bat Directories: (of which contains 20 files each) xlogo_f xlogo_m xlogo_s xoverlay xportbck 3. Run the batch file "install.bat" 4. That's it! You're all done. The only reason I decided for the early release of this Logo patch is: 1. By popular demand. ;) 2. To beta-test the likely installation method to be used on the "PBA Live Complete Patch Installer" on different users using different OS using different 'NBA Live 2003' directory locations and installed from different drives/directories. We're looking to make the installation of the complete patch as easy as possible. 3. To give you a taste of things to come. ;) Because of this (and w/ the advice of the other pinoy patchmakers), we decided to place the word "beta" on some of the logo's. Some only, not all. The others remain 'untouched'. Actually, the 'beta' thing can only be found on 10 out of 100 total fsh files. Para naman me aabangan pa kayo sa "complete installer". Baka naman daw kasi mawala na ang enthusiasm niyo sa "Complete PBA Patch" kapag nakumpleto niyo na yung logo/jersey/roster download at di niyo na kame tulungan sa ibang aspects ng game, e. hehehe... j/k Anyway, I hope we're clear on this before you install this patch. The logo's at the 'Complete PBA Patch' will be 'clean'. ;) ******************************************************************************************** ************* * * * Notes * * * ************* - The batch file is SUPPOSED to automaticallly detect your NBA Live 2003 directory. If the batch file did not work properly, pls post a message at the nlsc thread. (It is better to post your concerns in the nlsc pinoy forum so other people who might encounter the same problem can also be guided accordingly. Thanks!) - A backup of the original files shall be mmade by the installation for easy retrieval later: \render\xoverlay.viv is backed-up into \render\orig_xoverlay.viv \renfe\xlogo_m.viv is backed-up into \renfe\orig_xlogo_m.viv \renfe\xlogo_s.viv is backed-up into \renfe\orig_xlogo_s.viv \renfe\xlogo_f.viv is backed-up into \renfe\orig_xlogo_f.viv \renfe\xportbck.viv is backed-up into \renfe\orig_xportbck.viv - To uninstall, just run on the "uninstall__pbalogo.bat" file. This will restore the viv files to it's original files prior to the installation (orig_x*.viv files). - A total of 20 teams have been provided wiith their respective logo's: Alaska Giņebra Coke Fedex Purefoods Red bull SMB Shell SLR TNT PBA (for free agents / legends) Toyota Crispa U-Tex All Star West All Star East RP Team '02 RP Team '98 RP Team '94 (provision for future use only. no roster yet as of this writing) RP Team '90 (provision for future use only. no roster yet as of this writing) - NONE of the files included in this archivve may be modified and redistributed without expressed permission from me. - This PBA Logo Patch and all related filess are freely distributable, as long as all files included in the package remain unchanged and you don't sell it for profit. It is, however, NOT allowed to distribute this patch, in whole or in parts, modifed or unmodified, with your own patches or use it as a base for your own PBA Logo Patch Update. - Please look forward for the release of thhe "Complete PBA Live 2003 Patch". This will install all the necessary files for the complete 'PBA Live' Gameplay. This complete patch will include rosters, jersey's, courts, this logo patch (no beta), player accessories, local rolling advertisments, banners, cyberfaces, pba splash screens, etc. In this patch, there will be 'almost' no trace of the nba in the game (except maybe for the in-game sounds/commentator). Also, we will aslo create a 'switch file' so you can easily switch between either NBA or PBA gameplay. Upon clicking on the switch file, it will prompt you of either NBA or PBA gameplay and will automatically setup all the necessary files for the corresponding gameplay.
