Dear all,

hope you have had a wonderful weekend. I have. Great to have 4 days off to relax. Have painted the walls in my bedroom, both are now almost white. Will have to paint one a little bit more to make it completely white. Have also decided on the colour of the other wall: crystal. Which is the name of a paint in a green-blue-gray colour. Really nice.

Have also visited K2. Not the mountain, but grid reference K2 on my map of Utrecht. It's the area called Overvecht Noord and contains large white to off-white concrete buildings of at least 2 stories high, some small green parks (just strips of grass really)and a few shops. Really nothing interesting going on, at least not while I was there. It does however border on a nice park (Gagel Park) which leads to a nice little village called Westbroek. Cycled over to have a look at the church and the snackbar. Got some ice cream which I enjoyed outside on a little bridge near the church.

Have also visited my parents in Eindhoven. Nice to be 'back home' for a weekend. Watched the DVD of my graduation ceremony. Managed to get on camera a fair amount, so at least it was interesting to watch. Also looked at the crazy pictures that I took with my buddies Yasna and Danuta.

Back at work today, but that's all right. Have some nice reports to write, and a few things to sort out. Sorry, can't be more specific as the work I do is of confidential nature. Big secrets of the pharmaceutical industry :)
