Ceol Mor |

The symbol of Ceol Mor is a chaos symbol, usually pictured with between six to eight points starting from a central spot and then going straight out in separate directions. Jared used this symbol to act as a picture of the coterie. As Gangrel, the coterie is composed of several individuals all working as one. The coterie is a central hub from where all the members extend their abilities and influence outward in their own special ways. Secondly, the star is a symbol of the Celtic energies of Nwyvre. The subtle energies of Nwyvre flow from standing stones, waterfalls, caves, and the six winds. It is the power that strengthens geomancy and martial arts, sometimes referred to as "chi" or "ki" in Asian cultures. It is the fifth elemental that ties all the other elements together, and breathes life into the universal soul without which there could be no life. |

Ceol Mor, an old Scottish phrase referring to the music that was played on bagpipes when the Highlanders went to war, is a coterie that was formed under the advice of Jarl Morgan Powyll and under the wing of Elder Jared Draagon. The idea of the coterie was to reorganize Jared's old coterie "The Furious Host" into a more neonate based group that would allow for the teaching and training of the neonates of Clan Gangrel that are filtering into Swope and Fleming parks. Ceol Mor is the fighting force that not only defends Fleming Park from threats but also works to patrol Swope park, and makes up a subgroup that is part of the collective Fyrd that is the defense of the Clan not only during war time but during any threat to Clan Gangrel. Ceol Mor members are free to seek out Tycho and join his training coterie where they can study, enhance their skills, and learn more about the Clan. Jared sent word through the Clan and allowed any of the younger Gangrel to join the coterie who expressed interest. He attempted at first to use the coterie as a sort of Neonate Council to make the neonate voices heard throughout the Clan, but that effort was diminished by the Witan as unneeded. The coterie remained a security force for Fleming Park, and the only line of defense against interlopers from the Camarilla, Sabbat, and anything in between. Since Fleming Park lies outside of the Camarilla Domain, the sister park to Swope is highly guarded and treasured. |

After the Palatinate acquired Fleming Park, Jarl Powyll asked Jared Draagon if he would relocate Ceol Mor to Fleming Park in order to take over some of the responsibilities of security within the Park along with the help of a few of the members of the Gangrel Witan. Jared agreed, and began to secure the Park for the Palatinate with the help of Ceol Mor, the Gangrel Witan, and three ghoul teams. In 2001, the Domain was secured. The defenses are much like those in Swope park, and the ghouls maintain all security. |

Ceol Mor remains within the park, operating from their "hidden" headquarters. Ceol Mor is always there to back up the ghoul teams, and to ensure the safety of Fleming park. Ceol Mor has a central shelter/cabin that is used for a headquarters. The shelter used to be used by the Rangers quite a bit for supervisor meetings or social gathering. At some point the place was made off limits, and the Ranger just stopped using it. It was almost as if someone had erased the place from their memory. Now the coterie has access to the shelter and also to all the monitoring devices that are used by the Park Rangers, along with a few devices that were additions placed there by Jared himself as well as members of the coterie. From here the coterie members can come and go as they please, leaving notes and exchanging information at will. |

When Jared become Jarl of the Gangrel, he passed the leadership of Ceol Mor to Michael Darius. Jared trusts that Michael will look over his beloved coterie, and guide them well. In April 2003, Jared removed the last bastion of his hold on the coterie, completely turning the headquarters over to Michael. All of Jared's belongings were removed from the HQ, and moved to another of his havens outside of the Camarilla Domain. |
