INT. PROMO SET – NIGHT

Josh Matthews is standing by with Nykk, who is smirking.

Josh: Nykk, at No Way Out in an appalling lack of respect for this industry, you deliberately injured Cynric by dropping him on his head with an Aurora Driver and then tried to do even more damage as he was being checked out by EMTs. What do you have to say for yourself?

Nykk: Josh, I’m shocked. As a person who has wrestled in the past, you should know better than anyone that accidents happen. All I did was go for a northern lights suplex, and Cynric’s momentum made me trip and fall backwards. That’s it.

He starts laughing.

Nykk: But you have to admit… it was very convenient for me, because now the PPV Squad is down to three… Huh, Cheesecake and Shadow. Unlike Croooooow and Cynric, none of them are strong enough to carry that group on their back, and from here on, it’s smooth sailing from here back to Bellbrookville.

Josh: Well, one person who didn’t find what you did amusing was your opponent for tonight, Rey Mysterio.

Nykk: Look, Mysterio’s interfered in my business for the last time. Last time we met, he got one over on me. And Tazz was absolutely correct with his comparison of Mysterio to a firecracker. The only problem is, firecrackers fizzle out. You saw on Sunday, Josh, that I will do whatever it takes to get the desired result. Freakin’ finally, the firecracker will fizzle, and I will remain.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Nykk vs. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Cole: This match will be for the Cruiserweight Title, and here comes the challenger!

Tazz: Rey Mysterio will finally get his opportunity to win the belt from Nykk right here on Smackdown.

Nykk’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Cole: Nykk has proven after this past Sunday that he cares nothing for the other wrestlers in this company. He deliberately injured Cynric with what he knew to be a crippling move, and now Cynric is in the hospital and probably won’t be back in action for eight to ten weeks.

Tazz: All I have to say is thank goodness for Rey Mysterio and Edge stopping Nykk from inflicting any more damage. If I had gotten in the ring with him, I’d have done more than just ran him off.

FINISH: Nykk charges Mysterio in a corner, but Mysterio gets his feet up in Nykk’s face. He sits on the top rope and then leaps off, taking Nykk over with a headscissors. He charges Nykk and hits a swinging DDT for a two count. He tries to whip Nykk into the ropes, but Nykk reverses. Mysterio counters into an armwringer and pulls Nykk in for a short arm clothesline. Nykk ducks and goes behind Mysterio, going for the Trinity. He hits the back suplex and rolls through to hit a German suplex. He goes for the release dragon suplex, but Mysterio drops to his back. Nykk picks him up wheelbarrow style, but Mysterio catches him with a bulldog. Nykk gets to his knees near the ropes and Mysterio dropkicks him across the middle rope. He calls for the 619 and hits it. He goes for the West Coast Pop, but Nykk hangs on and heaves him up over his shoulders, just like last time. However, before Mysterio can snap him over into a piledriver, Nykk swings him down by the legs and plants him on the mat. Nykk goes to the top rope, but Mysterio crotches him. He goes for a hurricanrana, but Nykk somersaults through and lands on his feet, planting Mysterio with a powerbomb. He covers and puts his feet on the ropes to get the three count.

Winner: Nykk at 13:22

Cole: Nykk has successfully defended his Cruiserweight Title against Rey Mysterio, which only means more dark days are ahead for Nykk’s opponents.

Tazz: Nykk is such an impressive and adaptive wrestler. Who is going to be able to take that title away from him?

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: The Pyro Twins vs. Los Guerreros

Eddie Guerrero’s theme hits and he and Chavo Guerrero make their way to the ring.

Cole: This match will be for the WWE Tag Team Titles. The former champions, Los Guerreros, are on their way to the ring.

Tazz: They’re looking to regain the belts from the guys who beat them for them.

The Pyro Twins’ theme hits and they make their way to the ring.

Cole: Dusty Schneble and Jay Rowe are evil to the core, Tazz. They love to play with fire, and this past Sunday, carried out the bidding of Nykk by attacking Huh and Cheesecake after their match, all so Nykk could try to inflict even more damage on Cynric.

Tazz: But their evil has brought them tag team gold, Cole. They never had it when they were playing to the fans’ good graces.

FINISH: Eddie gives Jay a brainbuster and covers for a two count. He tags Chavo and slams Jay. Chavo hits a frog splash and covers for a two count that Dusty breaks up. Eddie comes back in and all four men brawl. Jay and Chavo brawl around ringside, and Jay rams him into the ring post. Dusty tries to suplex Eddie over the top rope, but Eddie lands on the apron and clotheslines Dusty. He goes for his flying hilo, but Jay pulls Dusty out of the ring and Eddie crashes to the mat. Chavo tries to clothesline both Pyro Twins, but they duck and hit Final Darkness on the floor. Jay rolls Chavo back in the ring and covers for the three count.

Winners: The Pyro Twins at 5:23

Cole: The Pyro Twins have further established themselves as worthy champions by scoring a clean victory over the men they beat for the belts.

Tazz: But their toughest opponents may be yet to come. Though Los Guerreros may be better wrestlers than Huh and Cheesecake, they know the Pyro Twins better than anybody.

INT. HALLWAY - NIGHT

Shadow, Huh and Cheesecake are standing outside their locker room.

Cheesecake: (to Shadow) You sure you want to do this?

Shadow: I think it needs to be done.

Huh: We’re the only three left. If you get hurt…

Shadow: If I need your help, I know you guys will bail me out. Don’t worry.

Cheesecake: All right. Be careful.

Shadow: I will.

Huh and Cheesecake go into the locker room and Shadow heads toward the ring. After she’s gone, the Pyro Twins walk by. When they’re sure she’s out of sight, they drag a huge crate in front of the locker room door so that it won’t be able to be opened.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Shadow vs. Nidia

Nidia’s theme hits and she makes her way to the ring.

Cole: Nidia and Shadow have been feuding with each other since Shadow came to Smackdown, and it’s going to be settled one way or the other right here.

Tazz: Both these tomatoes are tough, but which will emerge victorious tonight?

Shadow’s theme hits and she makes her way to the ring.

Cole: Nidia scored a victory over Shadow last week on Velocity, but had to cheat to pull it off.

Tazz: But what was Shadow talking about with Huh and Cheesecake? And why did the Pyro Twins bar the locker room door with that crate?

FINISH: Nidia hits a DDT and covers, but Shadow kicks out. Nidia tries to whip her into the ropes, but Shadow reverses and hits a clothesline. She scoop slams Nidia, and then ducks a right hand to hit a back suplex. She covers and gets a two count. She picks Nidia up, but gets poked in the eye. Nidia hits her in the face with a right hand and then whips her into the ropes. Shadow ducks a clothesline and Nidia turns around to receive the Interceptor, knocking her out. Shadow covers and gets the three count.

Winner: Shadow at 4:16

Cole: Shadow has done it!

Tazz: That was a big victory for Shadow. It’s just too bad there’s no Women’s Title for her to go after here on Smackdown.

Shadow gets a mic.

Cole: What’s she doing?

Shadow: Nykk, I know you’re back there watching. If you’re any kind of man like you used to be, why don’t you come out here and face me? I have a few things to say to you.

Tazz: She’s calling out Nykk! Is she crazy?

Shadow: I’m not asking you, I’m telling you! Get the hell out here!

Nykk’s theme hits and he walks down to the ring. He slides in and stands in front of Shadow, looking down on her.

Shadow: This needs to be said to you. I don’t know you anymore, and I’m beginning to wonder if I ever really did at all. You welcomed me into the PPV Squad with open arms, yet you took away my dreams of becoming Women’s Champion, took away my friends from Raw, drove off Croooooow, and now nearly crippled Cynric. All for some backwards notion about how all of your “friends” have been ruined by the wrestling business. Well, I’m telling you right now that you can go straight to hell! Take the Pyro Twins with you, but before you do that, there’s one thing I’m going to do. I’m going to kick your ass myself!

She winds back and hits Nykk in the face with the microphone, staggering him. She pummels him with right hands. Nykk covers up, but she starts kicking him instead.

Cole: Look at her go!

Tazz: She’s taking it to Nykk!

She tackles Nykk and drives him into a corner. She backs up a bit to deliver a roundhouse kick, but Nykk charges out of the corner and clotheslines her hard. Holding his eye where the microphone caught him, he grabs her by the hair and drags her to her feet. He lifts her in a military press and then drops her into his arms, executing a snap fallaway slam. He yells at her for a moment and then makes like he’s going to leave the ring.

Cole: That was a courageous effort by Shadow, but Nykk was just too physically overwhelming.

Nykk thinks it over and steps back inside the ring. Seeing her down and nearly out, he charges her and kicks Shadow full blast in the face. Shadow holds her face in pain as Nykk grabs a mic.

Cole: What a despicable human being! He just kicked a defenseless woman in the face. He’s probably broken her nose or a cheekbone.

Nykk: You know what, Shadow? I never wanted you in the PPV Squad. The only reason I let you in was because Croooooow talked me into it! I was going to go after Huh and Cheesecake next, but since you had to call me out here and cheapshot me, I think I’ll give you the same treatment I gave Cynric!

He drops the mic and grabs her by the hair.

Tazz: If Nykk’s going to beat up on a 5’2’’ woman, let’s see how he does against a 5’8’’ wrecking machine!

Tazz throws down his headset and gets on the apron. However, before he can get in the ring, Croooooow suddenly runs down the ramp and into the ring. Nykk stares at him in disbelief as Croooooow clotheslines him to the mat. Nykk gets up in a corner as Tazz helps Shadow out of the ring. Croooooow beats up on Nykk with furious right hands and Nykk tries to get out of the ring through the ropes. Croooooow grabs him by the shirt and hauls him back to his feet. He hits Nykk with a straight right hand, staggering him. He whips Nykk into the ropes, but he takes hold of the top rope and slides out of the ring. Croooooow jumps out of the ring and runs around it to nail Nykk with another clothesline. He throws Nykk back in the ring and gets a chair. He climbs back in and nails Nykk in the back. Nykk staggers to his feet in pain and Croooooow sends him down with a chairshot to the head. Nykk goes limp and Croooooow hits him repeatedly across the back and ribs with the chair. Nykk starts bleeding from his forehead. Finally, Croooooow throws down the chair and he and Tazz help Shadow to the back.

Cole: Croooooow has returned with a vengeance! His former friend Nykk has been left bloody in the middle of the ring. What’s going to be the future of the PPV Squad? What’s going to happen when Nykk wakes up?

Velocity

MATCH: Huh vs. Chuck Palumbo

Huh wins after hitting the Windbreaker.

MATCH: Cheesecake vs. Bill DeMott

DeMott wins after nailing a moonsault.
