Smackdown
INT. PROMO SET – NIGHT
Josh Matthews is standing by with Nykk.
Josh: Nykk, last week on Smackdown you lost a non-title match against Rey Mysterio. And you’ve just been informed that next week, right here on Smackdown, you will have a rematch with Mysterio, this time with the Cruiserweight Title on the line.
Nykk: Am I supposed to be worried, Josh? The only reason Mysterio won last week was because Cynric came down and distracted me. It was a fluke. But it won’t happen again, because I don’t see Cynric being around next week, or for a long time, as a matter of fact. It will be a very easy week for me, because at No Way Out, I team with the Pyro Twins. As long as we take care of Cynric, that leaves Huh and Cheesecake. Now out of all the PPV Squad members, their win/loss records are by far the worst. Once we’ve dispatched Cynric, that leaves three… Huh, Cheesecake and Shadow… all marked for termination.
Cynric walks in.
Cynric: So you think I’m your only cause for concern? Let me tell you something, Nykk, you would have never had the success that you did if not for Huh and Cheesecake backing you up. You know that and I know that. But since it seems a full-scale PPV Squad civil war is going to break out this Sunday, why don’t we make our match a little more interesting?
Nykk: What do you have in mind?
Cynric: Here’s what I propose: tonight, we have a little two out three series. The three of us against the three of you in singles matches. Whoever wins the series gets to choose a stipulation for our match at No Way Out. What do you say?
Nykk: Any stipulation?
Cynric: Whatever you want.
Nykk smiles.
Nykk: You’ve just sealed your fate.
He walks away.
INT. ARENA – NIGHT
MATCH: Cynric vs. Jay Rowe
Jay Rowe’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.
Cole: This will be our first match in the two out of three series between Nykk and the Pyro Twins and the PPV Squad. And here comes one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Jay Rowe.
Tazz: He’s a tough, wiry young man. I don’t know if all the martial arts moves in the world can help Cynric.
Cynric’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.
Cole: Cynric is ready for No Way Out. He definitely is gunning for Nykk, whom he wants revenge against for the way he and the rest of the Squad have been treated by him for a number of months now.
Tazz: Cynric looks determined to beat the living hell out of Jay.
FINISH: Cynric goes for the Shock Cannon, but Jay escapes and pushes him into the ropes, hitting a spinning heel kick. He picks Cynric up and hits the Overhaul. He covers, but Cynric gets a foot over the bottom rope. Jay gets frustrated and goes outside, getting a chair. The ref grabs the other end of it, but Jay pushes him down. He turns around and starts to raise the chair, but Cynric sweeps the legs and Jay falls face first onto the chair. Jay tries to shake it off and gets to his knees, still holding the chair. Cynric bounces off the ropes and hits a rolling koppo kick on the chair, knocking it back into Jay’s face. Jay falls to the mat and Cynric covers. The ref gets back up and makes the three count.
Winner: Cynric at 4:22
Cole: The PPV Squad is up one in the best of three series with Nykk and the Pyro Twins. If they can win their next match, they get to choose the stipulation for the six-man tag at No Way Out!
Tazz: I just realized that Jay and Dusty have been teaming for so long, that they might not be able to be successful in singles action at this point.
INT. ARENA – NIGHT
MATCH: Nykk vs. Cheesecake
Cheesecake’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.
Cole: Here comes the eccentric Cheesecake for the second of our PPV Squad Best of Three Series. If Cheesecake can win this match, his team gets to pick the stipulation for the six-man tag at No Way Out.
Tazz: But he has a tall order ahead of him, Cole.
Nykk’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.
Cole: Nykk is not only out here to even the score, but to get revenge for what Cheesecake did to him last week.
Tazz: Yeah. I guess that Nykk figured the transvestite look just wasn’t for him.
FINISH: Nykk goes for the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf, but Cheesecake counters with an inside cradle for a two count. They get to their feet, and Cheesecake hits Nykk with right hands. He whips Nykk into the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Nykk ducks and bounces off the ropes. Cheesecake hits a reverse elbow and then kicks Nykk, setting him up for the Long Kiss Goodnight. Nykk counters with an armwringer and pulls Cheesecake in, going for the Holy Trinity. He hits the back suplex and rolls through and hits a German suplex. He then drops Cheesecake on the back of his head with a release dragon suplex and covers for the three count.
Winner: Nykk at 4:32
Cole: Nykk just made a statement. He just told the PPV Squad that they’re not going to win this series that easily.
Tazz: Nykk is a man on a mission. Cheesecake is still out!
INT. BACKSTAGE – NIGHT
Nykk and the Pyro Twins are standing around.
Nykk: Okay, Dusty, your match with Huh is up next. I really need you to come through for me here. If you beat Huh tonight, I promise you… I will make our match at No Way Out a six-man Inferno Match!
Dusty suddenly looks up.
Dusty: Fire?
Nykk: Yes. More fire than hell itself.
Dusty smiles evilly.
INT. ARENA – NIGHT
MATCH: Huh vs. Dusty Schneble
Huh’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.
Cole: It’s all come down to this final match in the PPV Squad Best of Three Series. Nykk and the Pyro Twins’ hopes are placed on Dusty Schneble, and the PPV Squad’s hopes… God help them… are in the hands of Huh.
Tazz: No pre-match dancing for Huh tonight, Cole. He’s focused on winning this match.
Dusty Schneble’s theme hits.
Cole: We’re about to see the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions. His partner Jay Rowe lost to Cynric earlier tonight and…
However, Nykk comes down to the ring instead.
Tazz: Wait a minute, what’s going on here?
Nykk gets in the ring and grabs a mic.
Nykk: I’m out here to report an unfortunate incident that just happened backstage… Dusty is getting tended to as we speak because as we were walking out here, he slipped on a wet spot on the floor and hit his head. So even though I wrestled once tonight, I graciously offer to step up and wrestle this final match in the series.
Cole: He can’t do that!
Tazz: Why not? Huh’s got to wrestle somebody.
Nykk: Oh, just one more thing… turn around!
Huh turns around as Dusty comes at him with a chair. Huh ducks and kicks Dusty, forcing him to release the chair. Nykk grabs it and rolls out of the ring as the bell rings. Huh hits Dusty with right hands as Jay runs out and gets on the apron. The ref turns his attention towards him, and Huh whips Dusty into the ropes. It’s reversed, but as Huh hits the ropes, Nykk throws the chair and nails him in the back of the head. Huh goes down and Dusty stomps on him. The ref suspects Nykk did something and orders him and Jay back to the locker room.
FINISH: Huh makes a comeback and goes for the Windbreaker. He hits it, but Dusty’s feet catch the ref on the way up, knocking him out. Huh goes up for a moonsault, but Dusty rolls out of the way. Nykk runs back down to ringside and gets under the ring. He grabs a chair and a fire extinguisher and throws them into the ring.
Dusty hits Huh across the back with the chair as the ref wakes up. Dusty covers, but only gets a close two count. He whips Huh into the ropes, but it’s reversed and Huh sends him down with a body block. Nykk grabs the fire extinguisher and tries to drag it out of the ring, but Huh puts his foot on the hose and grabs the other end. They play tug of war for a few moments, but Dusty hits Huh from behind with a forearm. The ref makes Dusty back off and Nykk grabs the fire extinguisher. He gets on the apron and shoots it at Huh. Huh moves just as Dusty comes up from behind and Dusty takes the blast full in the face. Huh schoolboys him and gets a quick three count.
Winner: Huh at 4:43
Cole: I don’t believe it! Huh just beat Dusty Schneble!
Tazz: I can’t believe Nykk misfired! Talk about a miscalculation.
Cole: Now the PPV Squad gets to choose the stipulation for this Sunday’s six-man tag!
Cynric, Cheesecake and Shadow come out to celebrate with Huh as Nykk and Dusty back up the ramp. Cynric gets a mic.
Cynric: Hey, Nykk! You probably thought it would be real easy this Sunday, didn’t you? You said it yourself… Huh and Cheesecake have the worst win/loss record of anyone in the PPV Squad. But let’s take them out of the equation. That’s my stipulation… at No Way Out, the only way your team can win the match is if you beat me, and only me! So Nykk, I promise you this: at No Way Out, I will pound you into the mat like a railroad spike, and then, because I’ll have done what he wouldn’t do, I will dedicate the match to my brother Croooooow!
The PPV Squad theme plays as Nykk yells at Cynric.
