INT. PROMO SET – NIGHT

Josh Matthews is standing by with Cynric.

Josh: Cynric, a week ago your brother Croooooow left WWE temporarily to rethink his life, but Nykk took it as a sign that Croooooow is finally listening to him. However, you’ve been opposed to Nykk’s ideals from the very beginning. How do you feel about the situation?

Cynric: My brother just needs some time to get his head cleared, that’s all. As for me… I don’t need to think about anything. I’m not going anywhere, and Nykk and the Pyro Twins can go straight to hell for all I care. If he thinks…

Suddenly, Nykk attacks Cynric from behind with a chair and lays him out. Josh runs away and Nykk leans down to get in Cynric’s face.

Nykk: Don’t make me do this, Cynric. I haven’t done something like this in a long time, and I think you know what I’m talking about. I’m so close, don’t you understand? So close to realizing my goal. If you continue to speak out against me, I will have no choice.

He throws the chair down and walks away as officials arrive to help Cynric.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: The Pyro Twins vs. Los Guerreros

The Pyro Twins’ theme hits and Jay Rowe and Dusty Schneble make their way to the ring.

Cole: We’re set for a rematch from the Royal Rumble, where the Pyro Twins came close to capturing the tag team titles.

Tazz: It was Croooooow that gave an assist to Los Guerreros in that match, but the Pyro Twins retaliated by costing Croooooow a fair shot in the Royal Rumble.

Eddie Guerrero’s theme hits and he and Chavo Guerrero make their way to the ring.

Cole: The Tag Team Champions Los Guerreros have held the titles since Survivor Series, and there are a number of teams now with their eyes on the belts.

Tazz: There’s now John Cena and Red Dog, Edge and Rey Mysterio and Team Angle, who would all love a shot at the belts.

FINISH: Eddie hits a frogsplash on Jay and covers, but Dusty distracts the ref. Chavo comes in and slingshots Dusty into the ring. Eddie comes over and they hit a double flapjack on Dusty. Meanwhile, Jay rolls out of the ring and gets a flame-thrower from underneath. He brings it into the ring, but the ref stops him. Eddie and Chavo turn their attention to Jay and Dusty goes to get a chair. He hits Chavo in the back and then knocks Eddie out with a shot to the head. Jay puts down the flame-thrower and covers Eddie for the three count.

Winners: The Pyro Twins at 5:12

Cole: The Pyro Twins are victorious! They had to cheat their way to a win, but we have new Tag Team Champions!

Tazz: This means that Nykk and the Pyro Twins now control every title on Smackdown except for the WWE Title itself!

INT. BACKSTAGE – NIGHT

The Pyro Twins are standing next to Nykk, with the tag team belts on their shoulders.

Nykk: See, guys, what did I tell you? This is sweet retribution for Croooooow and Cynric muscling in on your title shots last fall. Go on ahead back to the hotel and start celebrating. I’ll be okay from here on in. I told Huh and Cheesecake how it was last week, and they’re on our side now. Save me some champagne, all right?

The Pyro Twins walk away, and Nykk turns around and nearly runs into Rey Mysterio.

Nykk: Do you want an autograph or something, little boy?

Rey: No, you know what I want, Nykk. I want that Cruiserweight Title that you have around your waist. I want a title shot, and I want it tonight.

Nykk: Whoa, hold on. You think I would give you a title shot after the stunt you pulled last week? Anyway, don’t even think about asking Stephanie McMahon for a match tonight, because I already made sure that we have one. A tag match. I’ll be teaming with the WWE Champion Kurt Angle, the guy you can’t seem to beat, and you’ll be teaming with Edge, the guy I beat last week.

Rey: Hey, that’s fine. I’ll just have to dial the 619 and pin your ass in the middle of the ring again tonight. And again and again until I have that Cruiserweight Title.

He walks away.

Nykk: Yeah, well keep dialing, because as far as I’m concerned that number isn’t listed!

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Nykk and Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio and Edge

Kurt Angle’s theme hits and he and Nykk make their way to the ring.

Cole: This might be the first time in the history of Smackdown that the WWE Champion and the Cruiserweight Champion have teamed up.

Tazz: It’s definitely a talented team, but they’ll be up against the former Tag Team Champions.

Edge’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Cole: Here comes Edge, who has been trying to secure a title shot for No Way Out.

Tazz: Well, he has to contend with a couple of others who want title shots, including Chris Benoit.

Rey Mysterio’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Cole: Here comes the high flyer Rey Mysterio, who confronted Nykk earlier… wait, here we go!

Rey and Edge charge the ring and the match begins.

FINISH: The match goes back and forth, and Nykk debuts the Trinity (a rolling back suplex, then German suplex, then dragon suplex). Nykk and Rey get hot tags, and Rey takes down Nykk with several high-flying moves. Rey goes for the 619, but Nykk catches his legs and applies the Cedarleaf. However, they’re too close to the ropes and Rey grabs them. Nykk lifts him for a back suplex, but Rey escapes and lands on his feet, dropkicking Nykk into the turnbuckles. Rey goes outside and hits a springboard legdrop. He covers Nykk, but Angle makes the save. Edge comes in and takes Nykk over the top with a clothesline while Rey battles Kurt. Rey whips Angle into the ropes for a spinning heel kick, but Angle holds onto the top rope and slides out of the ring. Rey runs over and baseball slides, taking Angle over on the floor with a headscissors. Meanwhile, Nykk rams Edge’s head into the ring post and stomps on him. Rey charges Kurt, but gets dropped across the guardrail. Angle hits Rey and whips him into the post. However, Rey grabs the post and swings around it, nailing Nykk with the 619 on the floor. Nykk rolls back into the ring, dazed. Mysterio rolls him up with the West Coast Pop as Edge tackles Angle, and Rey gets the three count.

Winners: Rey Mysterio and Edge at 13:14

Cole: Rey and Edge are victorious, and Rey just pinned Nykk again!

Tazz: Nykk definitely underestimated Mysterio, and it cost his team the match. You have to watch out for that 619, no matter where you are!

Edge and Rey celebrate on the ramp while Nykk holds his head in his hands. He finally gathers himself after Rey’s theme stops playing and asks for a microphone. However, Cynric runs down the ramp and into the ring, going after Nykk. Huh and Cheesecake suddenly run out of the crowd and pull Cynric away, threatening him. Nykk tells them to attack, but they turn to Nykk and attack him instead. Huh clotheslines him and Cheesecake hits him with right hands. They let him get to his feet and Cynric hits him with a rolling koppo kick. Cheesecake hits the Long Kiss Goodnight, which allows Huh to go to the top rope and give him a moonsault. The PPV Squad theme plays as Cynric, Huh and Cheesecake celebrate.

Cole: The PPV Squad is standing tall, even without Croooooow here.

Tazz: Nykk thought he had won over Huh and Cheesecake, but I guess he was wrong.

Nykk starts to get up, but Cynric sends him back down with the Lift Off.

MATCH: Huh and Cheesecake vs. Two Local Guys

Huh and Cheesecake win after a Screw Driver/DDT combo.
