INT. BACKSTAGE – NIGHT

Eric Bischoff is on his way to the ring when Nykk catches up with him.

Nykk: Bischoff!

Bischoff: What do you want?

Nykk: Did you see what Triple H did to me last week?

Bischoff: Yeah, I’ve watched it about a hundred times since it happened. I wish it would happen to you every week.

Nykk: I want Triple H in a match for the World Title. He says that I’m not championship material? I’ll show him that I’m ready to carry the burden.

Bischoff: Why should I give you a title shot? What have you done to prove that you are worthy of such a prestigious title? In case you don’t know, I don’t like you. I don’t want you as the Intercontinental Champion, and you think I’m going to give you a chance to capture more gold?

Nykk: I may be Intercontinental Champion, but as I said last week, I consider this belt as important as the one that Triple H holds. If I can get my hands on the World Title, I don’t even care if I’m not the Intercontinental Champion anymore.

Bischoff: Not Intercontinental Champion anymore?

He pauses to think.

Bischoff: I’ll tell you what. I’m going out to the ring right now to address a few topics. Listen real close, and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what I have to offer.

He smirks at Nykk and leaves. Nykk watches him warily.

INT. PROMO SET – NIGHT

Jonathan Coachman is standing by with Nykk.

Coach: Nykk, you heard with the rest of us the shocking news from Eric Bischoff. It’s going to be winner take all at Survivor Series, as you take on Triple H for the World Title in a unification match. Could I get your thoughts on this startling development?

Nykk: First, I am very saddened that Eric Bischoff fails to see the importance of this belt that he would choose to unify it with the World Title. This is a great title, Coach, with a great history of some of the best in the business holding it, and I myself am privileged to have been included among them. I’m saddened that none of the other young athletes in this company will have a chance to hold this belt. However, if that’s how things are going to be, that’s how they’re going to be. I’ll consider it an honor to be the last man to carry this belt to the ring at Survivor Series. I now have a shot at the World Title. I have to put my focus on that now. If Triple H thinks that what it takes to be a champion includes mind games and jumping people from behind than he hasn’t been watching me on TV for the last year. I’m going to show Triple H that can play his game, and it starts tonight. Freakin’ finally I have my first shot at a World Title, and I’m going to make the most of it.

He leaves the set.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Cynric vs. William Regal

The UnAmericans’ theme hits and William Regal makes his way to the ring.

JR: Our next match should be an interesting one, as the saga of the UnAmericans seems to be unfolding week after week.

King: Yeah, Regal’s out here all by himself now. He won’t have any help tonight.

Cynric’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.

JR: The young martial artist from the PPV Squad has certainly had his fill of the UnAmericans over the last couple of months, which included a reign as Tag Team Champion with his brother Croooooow, before Christian and Chris Jericho beat them last week.

FINISH: Cynric makes a comeback and manages to hit a superplex. He gives Regal the Lift Off, but suddenly Lance Storm runs down to the ring and gets on the apron, distracting the ref. Test comes in and nails Cynric with a big boot before throwing Regal on top of him. The ref turns around and makes the three count.

Winner: William Regal at 4:50

JR: Regal gets the win with an assist from Lance Storm and Test, but I thought the UnAmericans were at odds with each other!

As Storm stomps on Cynric, Croooooow runs down and starts pummeling him. Regal spins him around and hits him with the brass knuckles to knock him out. Huh and Cheesecake run out, but Cheesecake gets a big boot from Test and Huh gets a superkick from Lance. The Pyro Twins run out and do a good job of cleaning house, but Christian and Chris Jericho attack from behind. Christian knocks Dusty out with one of the belts while Jericho puts Jay in the Walls of Jericho. Finally, they walk up the ramp and Regal gets a mic.

Regal: You stupid little miscreants! You thought that the UnAmericans were finished, didn’t you? Unlike Americans, we are civilized gentlemen, and have talked our problems out rather than settling it in a barbaric fashion. We stand here united once again, and to prove our unity, we challenge any four of you disgusting pillocks to a traditional Survivor Series match at Madison Square Garden against myself, Christian, Test and Lance Storm. If you have the guts to accept, show up and we will send you back to the miserable state of Ohio from whence you came.

The UnAmericans’ theme plays as the PPV Squad regains consciousness.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Shadow vs. Victoria

Victoria’s theme hits and she makes her way to the ring.

JR: Here comes Victoria, who asked for this match last week after being knocked out by Shadow.

King: She took a cheap shot, JR, admit it.

JR: I’m sure she felt that Victoria was going to attack her anyway and just defended herself.

Shadow’s theme hits and she makes her way to the ring.

JR: This young lady has a chance to become Women’s Champion if she can beat her friend Trish Stratus at Survivor Series.

King: Yeah, but she might not make it to Survivor Series if Victoria has her way.

FINISH: Shadow goes for her dragon sleeper, but Victoria turns over and rams her into the ref, and squishes them both in the corner. With the ref down, Victoria goes outside and gets a chair. She swings, but Shadow ducks and kicks her in the midsection. She whips Victoria into the corner, but it’s reversed. Victoria charges, but Shadow gets her feet up as Trish Stratus runs out. Shadow gets on Victoria’s shoulders, and Trish nails Victoria in the back with the chair. Shadow takes her over in a victory roll, and the ref wakes up and makes the count.

Winner: Shadow at 4:12

JR: Shadow is the winner, with some help from her opponent at Survivor Series, Trish Stratus!

King: That’s not right, JR.

JR: It was Victoria who tried to bring the chair into the match, and she got some payback for weeks of assaults on Trish.

Trish raises Shadow’s hand, but she yanks it down and has some heated words for Trish.

JR: Wait a minute. What’s going on here?

King: I thought these two were friends.

Shadow angrily leaves the ring and walks up the ramp, leaving a confused Trish in the ring.

INT. PPV SQUAD LOCKER ROOM – NIGHT

Shadow is sitting on a bench when Trish comes in.

Trish: Shadow… what was that? I thought I was helping you out there.

Shadow: Look, I’m sorry about that. I still had adrenaline flowing through me and lost control. I’m just sick of you treating me like a kid sister who can’t win a match on her own.

Trish: Shadow, I didn’t mean to…

Shadow: I’m sorry, I’m just too angry with you right now. Talk to me later, when I have time to cool down, okay?

She storms out of the locker room and Trish looks a little hurt.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

After Triple H wins his match, he’s in the ring celebrating with Ric Flair. All of a sudden, Nykk jumps the guardrail with a steel chair. He comes in the ring and hits Flair from behind, knocking him down. Triple H turns around and receives a chairshot to the midsection. Triple H goes down, and Nykk rams the chair into his left leg.

JR: It’s Nykk, and he’s laying into the World Champ!

King: He’s going crazy, JR!

Flair gets to his feet and Nykk hits him over the head, knocking him out. He slams the chair into Triple H’s leg again before some officials come out and separate Nykk from Triple H.

JR: Triple H’s problems with his quad muscle have been well documented, and it looks like Nykk is showing the Game that he can target a weakness too!

Triple H limps up the aisle as Nykk’s theme plays. Nykk holds the chair high and points to Triple H.

Heat
