INT. LOCKER ROOM – NIGHT

In the UnAmericans’ locker room, Christian and Lance Storm and Test stare at each other.

Storm: You know, I don’t know which one of you I blame more. Last week, Christian, you lost our tag team titles to Croooooow and Cynric. However, you had some help from our good “friend” Test.

Test: Oh yeah? What’s your idea of help? Missing a Conchairto and nearly costing me my match against Croooooow last night?

Christian: I don’t know why you’re blaming us for this, Lance. You were the one who came up with the “brilliant” plan to abduct Huh and force the PPV Squad to wear our shirts. You were also the one who foolishly made that tag team title match last week.

William Regal comes between them.

Regal: Gentlemen, gentlemen… we must keep our focus on a common goal and that’s exposing these worthless Americans for what they really are and destroying the PPV Squad.

Christian: Like you can talk. You could have damaged them permanently at No Mercy, but you lost to Nykk! You know, our business with them would have finished a month ago if you weren’t so bitter over feuding with Croooooow a few months ago.

Regal: Look, though it’s not saying much, I think it’s pretty obvious that I’m the brains of this operation, sunshine, and you three are stuck in the middle of the pack forever without my guidance. Christian, Lance, tonight you have an opportunity to regain the tag team titles from Croooooow and Cynric. If you fail, we could be finished.

Storm: I won’t fail, William. You’ll have to ask my “partner” if he can keep his shoulders off the mat this time.

He exits the locker room.

Christian: (points to Test) It’ll never happen as long as YOU stay as far away as possible!

He storms out after Lance as Regal and Test exchange a look.

INT. PPV SQUAD LOCKER ROOM – NIGHT

Croooooow and Cynric are sitting on a bench with the tag team titles by their side. They stand up as the Pyro Twins enter.

Croooooow: Hey, guys.

Jay: Hey.

Dusty: We just want to officially congratulate you two on winning the tag team titles last week. You’ll forgive us if we didn’t exactly feel like celebrating, since you now have the belts that we have fought so long to get.

Jay: We just want you to know, that best friends or not, this is your notice. Down the line, you’re going to meet up with us and it will be the same it’s always been. All business.

Cynric: Hey, any time you guys want a shot, if it’s within our power to grant it, you got it.

The Pyro Twins smile.

Dusty: That’s exactly what we wanted to hear. We have the night off, so we’ll see you later.

They leave the locker room.

Cynric: I guess that’s my first lesson as champion. You have to watch your back even around your friends.

Croooooow: Look, tonight we have a rematch with Lance Storm and Christian. You saw the way they’ve been acting since they lost the titles to us. We’ve got them on the ropes, and there’s no one I’d rather take them down with than you, bro.

They do a handshake.

Cynric: Let’s do this.

They pick up the belts and leave the locker room.

INT. BACKSTAGE – NIGHT

Nykk and Trish are about to kiss when a black glove taps him on the shoulder. Nykk turns around to see Goldust smiling at him excitedly.

Nykk: (irritated) First of all, NEVER sneak up behind me like that. Second, can’t you see I’m in the middle of something?

Goldust: Nykk, I just wanted to thank you personally. Tonight, you have given me the opportunity of a lifetime as I go against you for Intercontinental gold.

Nykk: Yeah, well, it’s the least I could do after you helped us out when we were trying to find Huh. Make sure you tell Booker that if I beat you tonight, he gets a shot next week.

Goldust: Yes, yes, that I will do, but don’t think for a moment that I will allow you to leave the ring as Intercontinental Champion.

Nykk: Yeah, whatever, Goldertust. Just go. Away. Right now.

He turns away and Goldust taps him on the shoulder.

Nykk: (annoyed) What?

Goldust: That’s… ssssssss… Goldust.

Goldust finally leaves.

Nykk: I don’t know, Trish. Sometimes I just don’t know.

Trish: Let’s go somewhere a bit more private, shall we?

She pulls Nykk off camera.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Nykk vs. Goldust

Goldust’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.

JR: What an opportunity for Goldust right here in Nashville. He could walk away with even more gold than he has on right now.

King: This is his reward for helping them find Huh? All he did was goof around the whole time.

Nykk’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring, along with Trish Stratus.

JR: Nykk looks a bit harried, doesn’t he?

King: Can you blame him? He was somewhere private with Trish!

JR: Nykk better hope his generosity doesn’t lead to him losing the Intercontinental Title to Goldust. Despite the attire, you can’t count out Goldust.

FINISH: Goldust goes for the Curtain Call, but Nykk escapes and pushes him into the ropes. Nykk sends Goldust down with a running forearm but Goldust powers out of the Cedarleaf. A whip to the corner is reversed, and Goldust attempts a running bulldog. He hits it but Nykk kicks out of the pin. Goldust whips him into the ropes, but Nykk slides between his legs and kicks him in the midsection. He executes a tiger slam and then applies the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf. Goldust taps out.

Winner: Nykk at 4:11

JR: Goldust came up short, but this now means that Booker T is next in line for a shot at the belt.

King: Yeah, Nykk isn’t out of the woods yet.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Huh and Cheesecake vs. Rosie and Jamal

The PPV Squad theme hits and Huh and Cheesecake make their way to the ring.

JR: Huh and Cheesecake have been reunited as a team after weeks of being separated.

King: I’m not sure which one I’d like to team with the least.

JR: Huh was finally released from the hands of the UnAmericans a couple of weeks ago, but hopefully he and Cheesecake’s skills aren’t too rusty.

Rosie and Jamal’s theme hits and they make their way to the ring.

King: Bye, Cheesecake and Huh. It was nice knowing you guys.

JR: Huh and Cheesecake have quite a task ahead of them. Let’s see if they can cut down two 350 lb. Samoans.

FINISH: Cheesecake manages to hit the Long Kiss Goodnight on Jamal, but Rosie breaks up the pin. Huh attacks, and whips Rosie into the corner. He charges for an avalanche, but Rosie moves and Huh crashes into the turnbuckles. Rosie whips Jamal into Huh to hit an avalanche. Cheesecake attacks, but walks right into a military press into a Samoan drop. Jamal goes to the top and splashes Cheesecake for the pin.

Winners: Rosie and Jamal at 4:40

JR: Rosie and Jamal continue their winning ways, and may have just permanently pasted Huh and Cheesecake to the ring.

King: Croooooow and Cynric better watch out, because not only are their own friends looking for a title shot, but I’m sure Rosie and Jamal are too.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Croooooow and Cynric vs. Lance Storm and Christian

The UnAmericans’ theme hits and Lance Storm and Christian make their way to the ring.

JR: The UnAmericans have not been happy with each other since last week. First, Lance and Christian lose the tag team titles, thanks to Test, and then William Regal fails to break up the PPV Squad by beating Nykk at No Mercy.

King: They can cry me a river and I won’t have any sympathy for them, JR. It looks like Lance and Christian are still at odds.

The PPV Squad theme hits and Croooooow and Cynric make their way to the ring.

JR: The parents must be proud, seeing their sons together as Tag Team Champions.

King: Croooooow and Cynric better be wary, even with the UnAmericans at odds like this. They’re still very dangerous.

FINISH: Croooooow manages to put Christian in the Carrion Stretch, but Lance comes in and dropkicks him to break the hold. Cynric comes in and a brawl erupts. Storm nails Cynric with a superkick, but Croooooow clotheslines him over the top rope. Christian gets one of the tag belts and tries to hit Croooooow from behind while the ref tries to get Cynric out of the ring. Croooooow ducks and picks Christian up, hitting the Demon Driver. He covers, and gets the pin. Immediately after the count, Test runs to the ring and seeing he’s too late, shrugs his shoulders.

Winners: Croooooow and Cynric at 5:23

JR: Croooooow and Cynric are still Tag Team Champions, and look at the UnAmericans bicker.

King: Was Test late intentionally there? Christian did tell him to stay away.

Lance gets back in the ring and shoves Christian. Christian points at Test, and blames him for being late and all three argue. William Regal comes down to break it up, but gets shoved to the mat.

King: Look at them go at it, JR. Are we seeing the end of the UnAmericans?

Heat

MATCH: Shadow vs. Molly Holly vs. Jacqueline

Jacqueline wins when she rolls up Molly after she hits the Molly-Go-Round on Shadow.
