INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Nykk, Croooooow and Shadow vs. William Regal, Christopher Nowinski and Molly Holly

The PPV Squad theme hits and Nykk, Croooooow and Shadow make their way to the ring.

JR: The PPV Squad is in the arena, and here come Nykk, Croooooow and the hometown girl Shadow!

King: We’re in Shadow’s hometown?

JR: We certainly are. We’re live here in Denver, Colorado, and the only PPV Squad member not from Bellbrookville is getting a chance to shine at home.

William Regal’s theme hits and he, Christopher Nowinski and Molly Holly make their way to the ring.

JR: Molly Holly has been a target recently. Both Shadow and Trish Stratus are in league to challenge her for the Women’s Title.

King: And there’s certainly no love lost between Croooooow and William Regal, that’s for sure.

FINISH: Shadow and Molly get the hot tags. Shadow takes down Molly with some dropkicks, but Molly rakes the eyes. She whips Shadow into the ropes for a clothesline, but Shadow ducks and applies a dragon sleeper from behind, taking Molly down to the mat with a scissors. Before she can tap, Nowinski runs in and kicks Shadow in the head. Croooooow comes into the ring to go after Nowinski and a brawl erupts. Regal is able to hit his neckbreaker on Nykk, but Croooooow takes him to the outside. Molly holds a groggy Nykk for Nowinski, who bounces off the ropes. Before he can nail Nykk, he escapes and Nowinski puts on the brakes, coming close to hitting Molly. The momentary distraction allows Nykk to execute a back suplex on Nowinski, and Molly turns around to receive the Interceptor from Shadow. She covers and gets the three count.

Winners: The PPV Squad at 5:04

JR: What a victory for the PPV Squad, and what a great way to end it than for Shadow, the Denver native, to get the pin on the Women’s Champion.

Trish Stratus comes out to the ring to congratulate them, and gives Shadow a hug.

King: Hey, it’s Trish!

JR: Trish Stratus, friend of the PPV Squad, is out here to raise her friend Shadow’s hand. Both of these women are contenders for the Women’s Title…

King: Hey, wait a minute!

Lance Storm and Christian suddenly rush the ring and get up on the apron. Nykk and Croooooow rush over and knock them off with right hands. They get out of the ring and brawl with the UnAmericans, but suddenly Test comes into the ring through the crowd, behind the women. He gives Shadow the big boot from behind, knocking her out. He then turns his attention to Trish Stratus.

JR: Oh my God, it’s that repulsive Test, and he just kicked the bejeezus out of Shadow!

King: Look at the big shot. He’s intimidating Trish.

Trish begs off as Test yells at her, telling her she had her chance and grabs her by the hair. He sets her up and executes a pumphandle powerslam, planting Trish on the mat.

JR: You no good son of a bitch, what are you thinking!?

King: I can’t believe he just did that!

JR: Is this the kind of man we want to represent our company as Intercontinental Champion?

Croooooow and Nykk slide back in and throw some rights and lefts at Test. However, Regal suddenly gets back in the ring with the brass knuckles. He spins Croooooow around and knocks him out and then does the same to Nykk. The UnAmericans make their escape up the ramp as Nykk and Croooooow slowly get to their feet.

JR: My God, what has just happened here? Did William Regal just join the UnAmericans?

King: He’s helping them out of here. What about Molly and Christopher Nowinski?

Nykk gently lifts Trish and carries her to the back, as Croooooow helps Shadow to her feet.

INT. BISCHOFF’S OFFICE – NIGHT

Eric Bischoff is sitting on his couch when Dusty and Cynric walk in. He smirks at them.

Cynric: You wanted to see us?

Bischoff: Yes, I did, and might I add, quite an entertaining performance last week.

Dusty: Yeah, we’ve been meaning to tell you, we can’t find those two punks anywhere in the building. Why don’t you have them come out and face us and we’ll see whose three minutes are up?

Bischoff: Look, Rosie and Jamal only act on my orders, and last week was just a reminder of who’s the boss here. You got what you wanted, didn’t you? Both of you guys have a tag title shot at Unforgiven.

Cynric: What do you want?

Bischoff: Listen, I know you guys don’t like for guys like me to try and drive a wedge in between your group, so that’s why I’m letting you guys drive the wedge. There is no possible way that you two, Jay and Croooooow are going to be on the same page at Unforgiven. But tonight, you Dusty, and you Cynric will be on the same page. Because tonight you two will team up to face the Extremists, Justin Credible and Mike Awesome.

Dusty and Cynric look at each other.

Dusty: That’s fine. Just remember, boss, when you play with fire, you get burned. And the ultimate burn will come this Sunday when one of our teams takes the tag team titles from your boys the UnAmericans.

They leave as Bischoff smirks.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Dusty Schneble and Cynric vs. Justin Credible and Mike Awesome

Justin Credible’s theme hits and he and Mike Awesome make their way to the ring.

JR: Bischoff is making some very strategic moves as far as this Three Way Dance for the tag team titles goes on Sunday. He’s purposefully set the Pyro Twins and Croooooow and Cynric on opposite sides, and now he’s sending a member from each team, who don’t have any experience teaming, against two guys who are sure to weaken them for Unforgiven.

King: Without a doubt. Remember when Justin Credible took out both Pyro Twins and put them out of action for a month?

JR: I’m sure Dusty and Jay remember too.

The PPV Squad theme hits and Dusty Schneble and Cynric make their way to the ring.

King: Notice how Dusty and Cynric seem a bit wary of each other? They know that they’re in a tight spot, and a tempting one. How easy would it be for a move to awry and take out the other teammate, perhaps injuring him for Unforgiven?

JR: That’s a good point, and we have our general manager to thank for this.

FINISH: Dusty and Cynric try to show each other up at first, and then start to argue. Finally, Cynric manages to catch Credible and slingshot him into the ropes, holding on. Credible lays himself out across Cynric’s knees, and Dusty comes off the top rope with a kneedrop. He covers and gets the three count.

Winners: Cynric and Dusty Schneble at 4:22

JR: The PPV Squad gets the win, but there does seem to be a little friction between them.

Lance Storm and Christian run down the ramp and into the ring with chairs. Lance nails Dusty from behind, and Cynric attacks. Credible and Awesome help out the UnAmericans and they beat down Cynric. Croooooow and Jay run out and help Cynric fight off the heels. Croooooow gets a hold of one of the chairs and the four heels turn tail and run. Dusty wakes up and sees Croooooow with the chair. He turns Croooooow around and shoves him. Croooooow throws the chair down and shoves him back. As they argue, Cynric and Jay hold their partners back.

JR: Uh oh, Dusty thinks it was Croooooow that hit him with the chair!

King: They could go at it right here, JR!

Dusty glares at Croooooow for a moment and then storms out of the ring, with Jay close behind. Croooooow and Cynric watch them leave.

INT. TRAINER’S ROOM – NIGHT

Trish is sitting on a bench with the trainer checking over her. Nykk is pacing behind her.

Trainer: You should be okay in a little bit, Trish. You’ll have some bumps and bruises, but I don’t see anything broken.

Trish: That’s good. Thanks.

Nykk: Trish, I’m so sorry I let that happen. I should have been there.

Trish: It’s okay, Nykk. It wasn’t your fault.

Nykk: It feels like it was, though…

Trish: Hey, cheer up. This gives me the perfect excuse to accompany you to ringside at Unforgiven, so I can watch you break the very bones in Test’s body, make Test bleed, make him cry, and most importantly, make him tap out.

Nykk shakes his head.

Nykk: No. No. No. As much as that kind of talk reaffirms how much I like you, I can’t let you go with me. I don’t ever want to have to carry you out of that arena again.

Trish: Don’t worry about me. You just concentrate on defending your Intercontinental Title…

Nykk: I don’t care about the title! Not as much as I care about you.

Trish turns to face him.

Trish: Really? You mean that?

Nykk: Of course.

They lean in to kiss, but the trainer butts in.

Trainer: Excuse me, but Trish needs to rest. She shouldn’t get too excited right now.

Nykk: (sighs) It’s always something, isn’t it? All right. Trish, I’ll see you later.

He leaves the room.

Trish: Hopefully not much later.

INT. PROMO SET – NIGHT

Jonathan Coachman is standing by with Test.

Coach: Test, tonight is your opportunity to become the WWE Intercontinental Champion as you face Nykk. However, this past week on Raw, you orchestrated a vicious and unprovoked attack on Trish Stratus. Was this part of your strategy, and if so, how can you condone your actions?

Test: Seriously, Coach, I would think by now that you would be able to answer your own questions. The answer is that by associating with an American, Trish has soiled Canada’s reputation. And I’m warning her… if she steps into that ring tonight and gets in my way, I’m not stopping. This boot of mine will fly faster, and harder, and can cave in her skull for all I care. Tonight, the Intercontinental Title will be taken from the PPV Squad and into the camp in which it rightfully belongs, the UnAmericans’ camp. And after the match, it doesn’t end. Nykk does. I’m ripping the heart out of the PPV Squad.

He leaves.
