INT. ARENA – NIGHT
MATCH: Nykk vs. Test
Test’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.
JR: Here comes a vile, perverse and sick individual. I don’t even know how you can call him a human being, after what he’s done. Along with the UnAmericans, he tried to burn our country’s flag. He, at 6’6’’, 282 lbs., attacked two women from behind and could have permanently injured Trish, and now he says if Trish gets involved tonight, he wouldn’t care if his boot caved in her skull.
King: I can’t believe this guy either, but we can’t overlook the fact that he’s a serious danger and could very well walk out with the Intercontinental Title tonight.
Nykk’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.
JR: The Intercontinental Champion is furious at Test, but he can’t get carried away because if he does, he’s beaten.
King: There he goes!
Nykk sprints to the ring. He slides in as the bell rings, but Test greets him with a hard right hand that sends him down. He picks Nykk up and throws him against the ropes, beating him with vicious right hands. Nykk ducks one and backdrops Test over the top rope and to the floor. Test moves to get back in, but Nykk kicks him away. Test moves forward again but eats a baseball slide that staggers him. Finally, Nykk vaults over the top with a pescado to send Test down. He throws him back in the ring, but Test retaliates with a hard right. He whips Nykk into the ropes, but Nykk slides between Test’s legs on the rebound and grabs his feet, tripping Test and sending him down to the mat. Nykk turns him over and tries to apply the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf, but Test hits him with forearms and then kicks him away. As Test gets up, Nykk moves in and hits him with some rights. Test tries to retaliate, but Nykk ducks and spears Test to the mat, pounding him with his fists. Test shoves him off, but Nykk stomps on his head and backs him into a corner. He gives Test some knife-edge chops and whips him to the opposite corner. Test reverses, and Nykk crashes into the turnbuckles. Test charges, but Nykk gets his feet up into Test’s face.
Test spins around and Nykk charges, hitting a high knee to the back. Test goes down and holds his back in pain. Nykk drives his knee into the lower back a couple of times. He brings Test to his feet and tries a vertical suplex, but Test blocks it and lifts Nykk for one of his own, but instead drops him onto the top rope. Nykk straddles the top rope for a moment and then rolls back onto the mat. Test stomps his head a few times and then lifts him. He throws Nykk onto the ropes and hits him with some hard forearms. He whips him into the ropes and goes for his big boot, but Nykk holds onto the top rope and clotheslines Test, staggering him. He charges again and hits another clothesline, but Test still won’t go down. Nykk bounces off the ropes and hits a running leg lariat, finally sending Test to the mat. Nykk makes the cover, but only gets a two count. Test staggers to his feet and Nykk backs him into a corner. He tries to whip him to the opposite side, but Test reverses. Nykk hits the turnbuckles, and barely moves as Test charges with the big boot. Test gets his leg caught on the top rope, and Nykk moves in with kicks to the hamstring. He follows up with a dropkick to the lower back and Test falls to the mat. Nykk goes for the Cedarleaf again, but Test easily makes it to the ropes. He grabs Test’s hair to bring him to his feet, but Test rakes the eyes. He lifts Nykk onto his shoulders and charges, dropping him face first onto the top turnbuckle.
Nykk staggers, and Test sends him down with a clothesline. Test covers and gets a two count. Test waits for Nykk to get up and bounces off the ropes, hitting a kneelift. He lifts Nykk to his feet and Nykk tries a wild right hand, but Test easily ducks and lifts Nykk for a back suplex, instead dumping him upside down over the top rope and to the floor. Test goes outside the ring and lifts Nykk, dropping him across the guardrail. He then whips him into the stairs. He throws Nykk back in the ring and covers for another two count. He applies a reverse chinlock, and holds it for about ten seconds before Nykk starts to fight his way to his feet. Nykk elbows his way out of it and bounces off the ropes. Test goes for his big boot, but Nykk catches his foot. After taunting Test for a moment, Nykk executes a dragon screw legwhip, causing Test to hold his knee in pain. Nykk kicks at the knee and then lifts Test to his feet. He executes a rolling Samoan drop and covers for a two count. Nykk signals that he’s going for Crimson Moon, and manages to lift Test, but Test slides off his back and quickly executes the Test Drive, planting Nykk head first in the mat. He quickly makes the cover, and gets a close two count when Nykk gets a foot on the bottom rope. Test can’t believe he didn’t get the pin. He rolls out of the ring and gets a chair. Nykk gets to his feet on the ropes and Test goes to swing the chair, but the ref takes it away and drops it on the mat. Test turns to yell at the official, but Nykk rolls him up and gets a close two count. They quickly get to their feet and Nykk ducks a clothesline and clips Test’s knee.
Test goes down, and Nykk gets the chair. He waits for Test to get to his feet, but the ref grabs the other end of the chair. Nykk shoves it into the ref, sending him sprawling, but turns around as Test gives the big boot to the chair, which smacks into Nykk’s face. Test is limping from Nykk’s offense, and is enraged. Instead of covering, he gets Nykk to his feet and ties him up in the ropes. He gets a running start and delivers the big boot, knocking Nykk out. Seeing he’s still tied up in the ropes, Test decides to go for it again, but the ref protests. Test gives him a forearm, knocking him out. Test charges and delivers another big boot to Nykk’s head. Suddenly, Trish Stratus runs down the aisle and into the ring, where she stands in front of Nykk, pleading with Test to stop. Test bad mouths her, and charges anyway. Trish barely gets out of the way as Test delivers a third big boot to Nykk. Trish frees Nykk from the ropes and he slumps to the mat. Trish tends to Nykk and manages to revive him. She pleads some more with Test to stop. Test stands over her and then grabs her by the hair. He goes for the pumphandle powerslam, but Nykk suddenly uses the last of his strength to throw some powder into Test’s eyes. Test lets go of Trish, and she slides down his back. She gives him a low blow, and Test falls to the mat in pain. They lay there for about ten seconds before Test gets to his feet and Trish helps Nykk to his feet. Nykk takes the chair and whacks Test over the head with it. Test falls and Trish exits the ring. Nykk applies the Cedarleaf just as the ref wakes up. After a few moments, a groggy Test taps out.
Winner: Nykk at 10:20
JR: Nykk has done it! He’s gotten through his first real “test”, if you will, as Intercontinental Champion!
King: I don’t believe it! Nykk is still champ and Trish is okay!
Trish brings the belt into the ring and embraces Nykk, who is still holding his head. She then pulls him down to her and they share a kiss.
JR: It’s their first kiss!
King: Nykk’s the luckiest guy in the world, JR. He’s probably seeing about four Trishes right about now!
When they’re through, Nykk manages to raise the belt above his head, even though leaning on Trish is the only way he’s standing.
INT. ARENA – NIGHT
MATCH: Croooooow and Cynric vs. The Pyro Twins vs. Lance Storm and Christian
The PPV Squad theme hits and Croooooow and Cynric make their way to the ring.
JR: This match is for the tag team titles, and it’s a Three Way Dance, which means that it’s elimination rules. It’s not a Triple Threat Match. This will be the ultimate test for the brothers Croooooow and Cynric. If they want the tag team titles, they’ll have to go through two of their best friends and the UnAmericans to obtain them.
King: You can tell they’re well prepared. No goofy PPV Squad theatrics tonight.
The Pyro Twins’ theme hits and they make their way to the ring.
JR: Jay Rowe and Dusty Schneble are about as dangerous as they come. They’re not as sentimental as the rest of the PPV Squad, and I don’t think they’ll have any qualms about taking it to Croooooow and Cynric.
King: No doubt about it. The Pyro Twins are all business when that bell rings, and they’ve been salivating over an opportunity at the tag titles since they came to Raw.
The UnAmericans’ theme hits and Lance Storm and Christian make their way to the ring.
JR: Storm and Christian are out here by themselves. Test may be too ashamed to show his face out here for quite some time after his failure earlier, but where’s the newest UnAmerican William Regal?
King: Maybe that’s part of the plan. They don’t want Regal out here in case he gets overzealous and the ref sends him to the back before some crucial moment.
The bell rings and Dusty and Lance start. They lock up, and Storm gets a waistlock. Dusty counters into a full nelson, and Storm drops down to escape. Dusty picks him up wheelbarrow style and drops him back into a waistlock. Storm reverses and rolls up Dusty for a one count. Dusty pushes him off into his own corner, where Jay nails Storm with a right hand. Storm turns around and Dusty rolls him up with a small package for a two count. They get up and Storm swings, but Dusty ducks and nails a couple of rights. He whips Storm into the ropes and hits a reverse elbow. He tags Jay, and they whip Storm into the ropes. They crouch and hit a double back elbow, doubling Storm over. The Pyro Twins execute a double snapmare and hit double dropkicks to Storm’s head. Jay covers and gets a two count. He picks Storm up, but Lance hits a jawbreaker and tags Christian. Christian charges, but receives an armdrag from Jay and then a hiptoss. He follows up with a clothesline and tags Croooooow. Jay whips Christian into the ropes and drops down, allowing Croooooow to clothesline Christian. He tries a scoop slam, but Christian escapes and gets Croooooow in position for a reverse DDT, dropping the back of Croooooow’s head onto his knee instead. He covers and gets a two count. He tags Lance and they whip Croooooow into the ropes, hitting a double reverse elbow. Storm drops an elbow on Croooooow and picks him up, hitting a vertical suplex. He covers and gets a two count. He whips Croooooow into the ropes, but Croooooow ducks a clothesline and hits a running dropkick on the rebound. He scoop slams Storm and then bounces off the ropes, delivering a quick legdrop. Storm rolls away before Croooooow can cover and tags Cynric. Cynric looks at his brother and reluctantly gets in the ring. They stare at each other, but the ref tells them they have to make physical contact before they tag out again. They look at each other again and Croooooow goes for a right hand. Cynric ducks and whips Croooooow into the ropes. He tries a hiptoss, but Croooooow lands on his feet and ducks a short arm clothesline. They then run over and tag Lance Storm and Christian. Storm and Christian don’t want to get in the ring, but the ref makes them. They size each other up and then say that they’re not going to make contact and shake hands. Storm turns around to tell the crowd to shut up and Jay comes in to sneak up on Christian. He dropkicks Christian into Storm, who goes into the ropes. Lance turns around and thinks that Christian nailed him from behind.
Christian begs off, and Storm asks him what the hell he thinks he’s doing. He shoves Christian, and Christian loses his temper and shoves Storm back. They then take it to each other as a fistfight erupts. Storm gets the better of Christian and whips him into the ropes, hitting a running leg lariat. He whips Christian into the ropes again, but it’s reversed and Christian hits a back elbow on Storm. He goes for the Unprettier, but Storm shoves him into the ropes and they collide in the center of the ring with a double clothesline. Storm rolls over by Croooooow and Cynric’s corner, and Cynric tags himself in. He clotheslines Christian and then elbows him in the back of the head. He whips him into the ropes, but Christian reverses. Cynric ducks a clothesline and instead of running for the ropes, turns around and hits a spinning heel kick to the back of Christian’s head. Christian goes down and tags Dusty. Cynric attacks him as he comes in with right hands. Dusty fights back and gets the better of him with a knee to the midsection. He hits a teardrop suplex on Cynric and covers for a two count. He tags Jay, and they whip Cynric into the ropes. They go for a double flying shoulder tackle, but Cynric slows down and catches them both on the way down with DDTs. He sweeps Dusty’s legs as he gets up and nails a reverse crescent kick to Jay’s midsection. He tags Croooooow and they whip Jay into the ropes, hitting a double sidewalk slam. Croooooow covers and gets a two count. He backs Jay into a corner and gives him some knife-edge chops. He whips him front first into the opposite corner and gives him a tiger buster. He signals for the Demon Driver, but Jay slides off his back and pushes Croooooow into the ropes, hitting a spinning heel kick. Storm asks for the tag, but Jay hits him with a running forearm instead of simply tagging him. Once he recovers, Storm climbs back in the ring and stomps on Croooooow. He gives him some European uppercuts and whips him into the ropes, hitting a dropkick. He tags Christian, who comes in and gives Croooooow a kneedrop. He covers, but only gets two. He backs Croooooow into his corner and gives him some right hands and chokes him. He then whips him into the ropes and applies a sleeperhold. He works Croooooow down to the mat, and has the hold on for about twenty seconds before Croooooow starts to fight to his feet. He elbows his way out of the hold and bounces off the ropes. Christian lifts a knee into Croooooow’s midsection, somersaulting him.
He executes a reverse DDT and covers for a two count. Christian tags Storm, and holds Croooooow. Storm goes to the top rope and hits a double axehandle on Croooooow. He then hits a brainbuster and covers for another two count. He stomps on Croooooow’s head and then whips him into the ropes. He puts his head down for a back body drop, but Croooooow counters into a swinging DDT. They both lay motionless for a few moments and then crawl toward the nearest corner. Storm tags Christian, but Croooooow tags Jay, who comes in and takes down Christian with a couple of clotheslines. He whips Christian into the ropes, but Christian reverses. He tries a tilt-a-whirl slam, but Jay lands on his feet and hits a tilt-a-whirl shoulderbreaker on Christian. He covers, but sees Storm coming in to break it up and gives him a drop toehold, causing him to headbutt Christian. Jay tags Cynric, and they whip Lance into the ropes, hitting a double back body drop. Cynric executes a snap suplex on Christian and then tags Croooooow, who goes to the top rope and delivers a guillotine legdrop. He covers, but Storm makes the save. Dusty, Jay and Cynric all come in and a brawl erupts. Dusty gets Christian in a corner and hits him with some rights, while Jay and Cynric go at it, and Croooooow dukes it out with Storm. Storm manages to duck a superkick from Croooooow and nail one of his own as Jay clotheslines Cynric over the top rope. He then walks into a double flapjack from Storm and Christian. Dusty tries to charge them, but they send him careening into the ref, taking him out. Christian gives Dusty a DDT while Storm goes outside. He grabs two chairs and tosses one to Christian. They set Dusty up for the Conchairto, but Dusty ducks and Storm and Christian drop the chairs from the impact of smacking them together. Croooooow gets up as Christian walks right into Final Darkness from the Pyro Twins. At the same time, Croooooow lifts Storm and delivers the Demon Driver. Covers are made, and the ref wakes up but is confused. After a moment’s thought, he makes a double count, but Christian gets a foot on the bottom rope at two, and William Regal suddenly emerges from under the ring to pull Croooooow off Storm. Jay picks up Christian, but gets a low blow. Dusty moves in, but Christian grabs him by the tights and dumps him out of the ring through the ropes. Croooooow grabs Regal and brings him up on the apron. As he’s about to hit him, he moves to let Storm charge into Regal, who flies off the apron and into Cynric. Croooooow turns his attention to Storm, but Christian sneaks up from behind and hits the Unprettier on Croooooow. He covers and gets the three count.
As Croooooow rolls out of the ring, Regal discreetly gets back under the ring. Storm and Christian raise their arms in victory, but Dusty gets back in the ring and bounces off the ropes, hitting a double clothesline on the UnAmericans. Storm gets on the apron as Jay gets back in the ring. Dusty whips Christian into the ropes and lifts him in a military press as Jay gets down on one knee. Dusty drops Christian stomach first onto Jay’s knee and they charge the corner, sending Storm off the apron with a double forearm. They whip Christian into the ropes and execute a double leg trip. They then bounce off opposite ropes and hit a simultaneous double dropkick to the ribcage. Dusty covers, but only gets a two count. He tags Jay, who goes up top. Dusty hits a vertical suplex, and Jay jumps off the top rope to nail a senton splash. He covers and gets another two count. He whips Christian into the ropes, but Christian reverses and Storm sticks a knee into the small of Jay’s back as he hits the ropes. Christian tags Storm, who gives Jay a backbreaker. He drops some elbows and then whips Jay into the corner. He gives him a superkick and covers for a two count. He tags Christian, and they lift Jay as if for a double back suplex, but throw him face first to the mat instead. Christian applies a front facelock. Jay fights his way to his feet and tries to lift Christian. On his third attempt, he manages to dump Christian over the top rope, but collapses from the effort. He crawls toward his corner, but Christian comes back in and stomps on Jay and nails Dusty. He applies the front facelock as Dusty charges in, but the ref stops him.
Storm changes places with Christian applying the front facelock by the time the ref turns around. Jay fights back to his feet and tries to march forward to tag Dusty. Storm pushes him back to the center of the ring and Jay takes him over with a northern lights suplex that gets a two count. Storm quickly gets up and stomps on Jay. Christian comes in and they whip Jay into the ropes for a double back body drop. Jay counters with a double DDT that lays everyone out. Jay crawls toward his corner and finally tags Dusty, who comes in and sends Storm and Christian down with right hands. He whips Christian into a corner and then whips Storm into him. He executes a release German suplex on Storm and then bounces off the ropes, hitting a bulldog on Christian. He gets Storm up and whips him into the ropes, hitting the Rope Burn. He covers, but Christian breaks it up. Jay comes back in, and clotheslines Christian over the top rope. Storm tries to give Dusty a back suplex, but Dusty lands on his feet and dropkicks Storm, who staggers forward into a superkick from Jay. He covers, but Christian drags Storm out of the ring. They try to make a run for it, but Jay charges and scales the turnbuckles, hitting a plancha on the UnAmericans. He throws Storm back in the ring, but Storm ducks a clothesline from Dusty and hits a reverse DDT. Christian brings one of the chairs back in the ring and takes a swing at Jay, but he ducks and Storm gets taken out. Jay rolls up Storm with an Okalhoma roll as Dusty throws the other chair and hits Christian. Storm kicks out as William Regal emerges, this time with the brass knuckles. As the ref tries to get Christian out of the ring, Regal nails Dusty with the brass knuckles, knocking him out. Storm comes over to distract the ref as Regal swings at Jay. Jay catches Regal’s arm and kicks him, taking the knuckles. He puts them on and knocks Regal out with them. However, he turns around just in time for Christian to charge him with one of the tag belts and nail him upside the head with it. Jay falls as Storm comes over and makes the cover and gets the three count.
Winners: Lance Storm and Christian at 20:06
JR: I don’t believe this.
King: How in the hell did the UnAmericans pull that one off?
JR: Thanks to William Regal, the tag team champions are still Lance Storm and Christian.
King: I can’t believe it. The Pyro Twins came that close!
Regal finally wakes up and he and the UnAmericans lean on each other as they back up the ramp, holding the tag team belts high.
