Smackdown

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: The Hurricane vs. Jay

The Hurricane’s theme hits and the Hurricane makes his way to the ring.

Cole: Here comes the Hurricane, who calls himself a superhero.

King: But he found his own supervillain, didn’t he?

Cole: He did, King, in the form of Cheesecake from the PPV Squad.

The Hurricane gets a mic.

Hurricane: Cheesecake, my Hurri-senses detect that you are in this building, and I know you can hear me. It is my mission to rid the WWF of evil-doers like yourself. A couple weeks ago, instead of fighting me yourself, you sent one of your vile henchmen. Wassupwitdat!? I demand that you come out here now so we can finish this once and for all!

Cole: He’s calling out Cheesecake!

Cheesecake’s theme hits and he saunters onto the ramp. He has the PPV Squad mic.

Cheesecake: Th’ettle thi’th once and for all? What i’th thi’th, th’ome kind of cliché? Rest a’th’urred, Hurricane, I will settle this once and for all, but on my terms. It will not be me who challenge’th you tonight, but your toughest foe to date! He i’th th’o badass, he do’th not need a nickname or even a la’th’t name! He i’th th’imply known as… Jay!

Jay’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring. Cheesecake goes down with him.

King: Uh oh, I think the Hurricane is in a world of trouble now. He’s facing Jay!

Cole: Jay?

King: Yeah, Jay’s a real grappler, Michael. Did you know he once beat Chris Benoit, Triple H and Stone Cold in an arm-wrestling match?

Cole: An arm-wrestling match?

King: Or a drinking contest, I can’t remember which.

Cole: Well, this is no arm-wrestling match tonight. He’s taking on the Hurricane!

The match goes about three minutes. As Hurricane gains control, Cheesecake jumps onto the apron. Hurricane dropkicks him, sending him to the floor, but that allows Jay to go for the Overhaul. Hurricane reverses into a reverse front facelock and executes Eye of the Hurricane for the pin. However, Cheesecake grabs the Hurricane’s cape and pulls Jay out of the ring. They run up the ramp and into the locker room. The Hurricane gives chase

King: Oh no… he took the Hurricane’s cape, Michael! He’s clipped the Hurricane’s wings!

Cole: The Hurricane is not going to like this one bit…

INT. PARKING GARAGE – NIGHT

The Hurricane looks for the PPV Squad’s station wagon, but before long it pulls up a safe distance from the Hurricane. Cheesecake leans out the passenger window and waves the Hurricane’s cape.

Cheesecake: Let’th th’ee you fly now, Hurricane! Now that I have your cape, I think I’ll make a hood ornament out of it!

He does the Slamcheese laugh as Jay punches the gas pedal and they speed off. Hurricane looks after them with his hands on his hips and a determined look on his face.

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Croooooow and Nykk vs. Scotty 2 Hotty and Albert

The PPV Squad theme hits as Nykk and Croooooow make their way to the ring, accompanied by Dusty.

Cole: This match will be for the tag team titles, but what the hell is Dusty doing out here? At least he doesn’t have that flame-thrower.

King: A little insurance, maybe?

Cole: Insurance?

King: Yeah, Dusty may not freeze your assets but he’ll sure as heck burn ‘em!

Cole: Nykk looks very pleased with himself after what he did to Edge last week on Smackdown.

They show the previous week’s Smackdown footage.

King: Yeah, these two sure have been upping the ante, so to speak, with each other. Last week Nykk got serious.

Scotty 2 Hotty’s theme hits and he and Albert make their way to the ring.

Cole: A big opportunity for Scotty and Albert here. They’ve only been a team for a little while, but they now have a shot at the tag team titles.

The match goes about four minutes. Dusty’s presence noticeably makes Scotty and Albert nervous during the match. Nykk and Croooooow are able to score the victory, with Nykk making Scotty tap out to the Bellbrookville Cedarleaf. He refuses to let go of the hold after the match. Albert tries to intervene, but Dusty and Croooooow take him down.

Cole: Come on, don’t do this! You won the match, let him up!

Edge runs in with a chair. He gives some shots to Dusty and Croooooow, and then whacks Nykk over the head with the chair. Nykk falls to the mat and lets go of the hold. Edge picks him up and gives him the Edgecution on the chair.

Cole: Edge just gave Nykk the Edgecution on the chair, just like he did to Regal! Nykk is out!

King: Wait a minute, Michael! Is that fair?

Edge throws down the chair as his theme hits. He walks to the back.

*Fade Out*

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

During the break footage shows Nykk being wheeled out on a stretcher.

Cole: During the break, the EMTs took Nykk to the hospital as a result of Edge’s run-in.

King: Wait a minute, run-in my foot. That was an attack, Michael. Nykk could have a concussion, or suffered head trauma.

Cole: The war between Nykk and Edge is escalating before our very eyes, folks…

Jakked

MATCH: Funaki vs. Huh

Huh loses the match after Funaki executes Diamond Dust.

Sunday Night Heat

MATCH: The Big Show vs. Cynric

Cynric has Huh at ringside with him. A combination of Cynric’s martial arts and Huh’s dancing allows Cynric to almost win. However, as he’s setting up Show for his big knee to the face, Blackman runs in and gives Cynric the Lethal Kick as the ref tries to keep Huh at bay. The Big Show picks up Cynric and chokeslams him for the pin.
