INT. ARENA – NIGHT

MATCH: Croooooow vs. Faarooq

Croooooow’s theme hits and he makes his way to the ring.

JR: Here comes Croooooow, one half of the tag team champions…

King: Yeah, they had a heck of a fight with the APA last night.

JR: Nykk and Croooooow certainly proved that they could hang with the APA, but when the fight turned against them, they up and left!

King: That’s fair, JR. They didn’t want to lose their titles, so they got themselves counted out.

The APA’s theme hits and Faarooq makes his way to the ring.

JR: Faarooq is going to try and get a measure of redemption for his disappointment last night by taking on Croooooow.

The bell rings and Faarooq attacks Croooooow. After about four minutes, Jay and Cheesecake come to ringside. As Jay distracts the ref, Cheesecake enters the ring only to be powerslammed by Faarooq. Croooooow attacks but gets clotheslined. The ref turns around and tries to get Cheesecake out of the ring as Faarooq lifts Croooooow for the Dominator. However, Jay runs in with a chair and hits Faarooq across the back, causing Faarooq to drop Croooooow and go down. Croooooow applies the STF, and Faarooq taps out as the ref turns around.

JR: That’s not right. Croooooow wins with help from his fellow Squad members.

King: Now what are they doing? Jay hands Croooooow the PPV Squad mic.

Croooooow: Faarooq, you have been found guilty of the crime of being OLD! As everyone knows, that is a sin in the wrestling business. It’s now up to the PPV Squad to put you out for good and take your spot so that the new blood can flow forth and flourish! But before that can happen, we have to purge the old blood.

Jay and Cheesecake set up Faarooq as Croooooow hits him in the head with the chair, busting him open.

JR: Come on! Old Blood? What the hell are they talking about?

King: They’re doing a number on Faarooq, look at him!

Bradshaw runs down and gets in the ring. Cheesecake goes down to the Clothesline from Hell, and Croooooow gets a big boot as he raises the chair. Jay leaps at Bradshaw, but he catches him and gives him a reverse fallaway slam. Bradshaw checks on Faarooq as the PPV Squad limps up the ramp.

JR: Well, it seems as if neither of these team’s business with each other is done. I would think that the APA will be demanding a rematch for the tag team titles, and soon!

*Fade Out*

INT. ARENA – NIGHT

Edge’s theme plays and he makes his way to the ring, holding his head.

JR: Here comes Edge, the Intercontinental Champion. He was the victim of a malicious attack earlier on by William Regal, who knocked him out with those damn brass knucks.

Nykk’s theme plays and he makes his way to the ring. King: I know Edge is a competitor, but I don’t know how wise it is of him to take this match after that attack, especially against a tricky opponent like Nykk.

The bell rings and the match is underway. Nykk concentrates on the head of Edge for most of the match, but Edge battles back. Nykk manages to land a low blow and then goes for Howling Moon. Edge rolls backward out of it and backs up. When Nykk turns around, Edge spears him but Nykk kicks out. Edge picks him up for the Edgecution, but Nykk ducks behind Edge and executes his German suplex/roll-up combo. Edge kicks out of that, sending Nykk into the ropes. He bounces off, but Edge is already on his feet and delivers a kick to the midsection. Then he executes the Edgecution for the pin at around the five-minute mark. Huh and Cynric run into the ring, but Edge escapes through the crowd.

JR: Edge retains his title by pinfall over Nykk, and he is not too happy about it.

Huh starts dancing to Edge’s theme music, and Nykk shoves him, berating him for being late.

King: What’s going on here, JR? Nykk’s getting in Huh’s face.

JR: I guess he was a bit late. But he’s not yelling at Cynric.

Huh cowers away, and Nykk leaves the ring. Huh and Cynric follow him up the ramp.

*Fade Out*

Smackdown

INT. PARKING GARAGE – NIGHT

The PPV Squad’s station wagon pulls up and Nykk, Croooooow, Huh, Jay, Cheesecake and Cynric get out. Nykk looks a little chagrined.

Jay: Don’t worry Nick, you’ll get another shot at the IC title.

Nykk: Don’t call me that! It’s Nykk!

Jay: Okay, okay, sorry.

Nykk: If all had gone according to plan, I would be Intercontinental Champion right now!

He looks directly at Huh.

Huh: Look, I know I screwed up, but I can redeem myself. Let me take care of the Edge problem.

Nykk: That would be the Chief Assassin’s job, but that actually gives me an idea…

*Fade Out*

INT. PROMO SET – NIGHT

Lillian Garcia is standing by with Edge.

Lillian: Edge, earlier on you broke William Regal’s nose by giving him the Edgecution on a steel chair. This is more aggressive than we’ve seen you lately. What motivated you to do this?

Edge: It seems that Regal wasn’t satisfied with the beating I gave him at Vengeance, so on Monday he… what do you think you’re doing?

The camera pans over to see Huh standing off the set.

Huh: I come as a messenger from the leader of the PPV Squad… you, Edge, have been pissing off the wrong people. What I’ve been sent to do, is give you the kiss of death!

Huh grabs Edge by the face and tries to kiss him, but Edge throws his hands off and punches Huh, sending him down. Edge moves in and keeps hitting him, but Cynric comes in from behind and kicks Edge in the back of the head. He puts him in a submission hold as the PPV Squad walks in and Nykk leans down so he’s face to face with Edge.

Nykk: I’m afraid you haven’t seen aggressive, Edge. I’m taking that belt from you sometime soon, so keep it warm for me, Huh?

Huh: Huh?

Croooooow: Shut up, Huh!

Nykk: Huh, shut up!

Jay: Shut up, fatboy!

Cheesecake: (to Nykk) Shut Huh up!

Officials run in and separate Cynric and Edge. Ric Flair comes in too.

Flair: What’s going on here?

Nykk: Edge attacked my friend!

Flair: Do you think I broke into this business yesterday? I didn’t like the way you and your partner ended your match at Vengeance, and since you seem to have all this pent-up aggression, how about you and Croooooow take on the APA on Raw for the tag team titles? And how about we make it so that if you or your partner get counted out or disqualified, you forfeit the titles to the APA? Wooo!

Nykk starts to protest.

Flair: I don’t have time to deal with you. I’ve got bigger matters at hand.

He walks off as Nykk and Croooooow look irritated.

*Fade Out*

INT. ARENA – MATCH

Matt Hardy and Bradshaw are having a match that Bradshaw wins with the Clothesline from Hell. After the match, Nykk and Croooooow run in with chairs.

JR: Wait a minute! Nykk and Croooooow are down here now!

Bradshaw makes a grab for Croooooow, but he hits him in the midsection with the chair. As Bradshaw doubles over, Nykk hits him in the back with a chair. Bradshaw slumps down, and they set him up for Matt to drop the leg from the second rope.

JR: What a blatant attack by the PPV Squad! They’re just throwing a hissy-fit because Flair’s making them defend their titles against the APA on Raw.

King: But if they lose by count-out or disqualification, they lose the belts! That’s not fair!

The three stand over Bradshaw as the PPV Squad theme plays.

JR: They can have this night, but on Monday they won’t be able to attack from behind, they’ll be face to face with two of the toughest men in the WWF with nowhere to run.

*Fade Out*

Huh beats Funaki with the Windbreaker.

Sunday Night Heat

MATCH: Cynric vs. Spike Dudley

Cynric wins the rematch from Vengeance with the Shock Cannon.

MATCH: Faarooq vs. Cheesecake

Faarooq wins after Jay and Huh’s interference backfire.
