INT. ARENA - NIGHT

MATCH: 'The One' Billy Gunn vs. Nykk

The PPV Squad theme hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Croooooow.

JR: And now we have the leader of the PPV Squad, Nykk, on his way to the ring. Tonight we will finally see if he is really serious about being here in the WWF, or if he's just blowing a lot of hot air.

Paul: I think we might just be surprised with the PPV Squad. On Heat, we saw Jay and Cheesecake wrestle Kaientai...

JR: And lose.

Paul: But they did put up a valiant effort, probably the best effort we?ve seen from any of their matches yet.

JR: Well, at least this means he isn't going to come over here and sit with us again. I had my fill of this young man on Raw.

Nykk gets a mic.

Paul: Quiet, JR, let the man speak.

Nykk: It is my duty to inform you that due to Billy Gunn being in this match tonight, it will not be a 'twenty minute classic!' I know the name of the PPV is No Mercy, but this match will be a mercy squash to rid the WWF of Billy Gunn once and for all! So Mr. Dunn, cue the music and bring out Billy 'Rocka-smoke-ass!'

Billy Gunn's music hits and Billy charges the ring. Croooooow jumps out of the ring and Nykk slides out the other side as the bell rings. Billy gives chase and chases Nykk all the way around the ring until Nykk slides back in. Nykk bounces off the ropes as Billy slides in. Billy tries a clothesline, but Nykk ducks. He bounces off the opposite side, but Billy catches him and lifts him high into the air, letting him drop to the mat. Nykk regains his feet, but is taken down by a right hand from Gunn. Gunn pelts Nykk with several punches before the ref pulls him off. Croooooow gets on the apron, and Billy swings at him, but Croooooow jumps back to the floor out of harm's way. Nykk backs into the corner, but Billy whips him into the opposite corner. Nykk strikes the turnbuckles hard and comes out to receive a back bodydrop from Billy. Billy kicks him in the mid-section and executes a jackhammer. He covers for a two count, but Nykk kicks out. Nykk backs into the corner again and Billy gives him several right hands. He whips Nykk into the ropes, but Nykk reverses.

Nykk runs at Billy and hits a high leg clothesline. As Billy gets up, Nykk executes a snap suplex with a roll over and gets a two count. He brings Billy up and backs him into the corner, giving him several kicks and chops. He whips Gunn into the opposite corner, but Gunn reverses. Nykk kips up out of the corner and out of the way of a charging Gunn, who crashes into the turnbuckles. Nykk dropkicks the knee and then grapevines it on the second rope, kicking at it. He finally releases it and whips Gunn out of the corner. Gunn reverses, and Nykk kips out of the opposite corner again.

However, this time Billy hadn't charged and shakes the ropes, making Nykk lose his balance and fall face first onto the top turnbuckle. Nykk staggers out of the corner to receive a clothesline from Gunn, sending him to the mat. Gunn follows up with a legdrop and makes the cover for the two count. Nykk kicks out and Gunn signals for the One and Only. He puts Nykk in the cobra clutch to set up for the move, but Croooooow distracts the ref.

Nykk kicks his leg back and low blows Billy, undetected by the ref. He grabs the left leg of Gunn and lifts it into the air, smashing the knee into the canvas. He kicks at the knee and then holds it in place on the mat so he can leap into the air and drive his own knee into Billy's. He picks Gunn up and delivers a dragon screw legwhip. He applies a figure four leglock, making sure he's close to the ropes. After about twenty seconds or so, Billy tries to reverse, but as he rolls over Nykk grabs the bottom rope, using it to turn the figure four back in his favor. Nykk uses the ropes for leverage whenever the ref isn?t looking, but the second time he does it he's caught and forced to break the hold. Billy crawls to the corner to regain his feet, but Nykk moves in and forearms him in the back this time. He picks him up in a fireman's carry and delivers a rolling Samoan drop. He stomps on Billy's back, and then drops an elbow. He picks him up and delivers a backbreaker. He makes the cover but only gets a two count. Protesting the count, he turns Gunn back over and stomps mercilessly on the back, driving elbow drop after elbow drop. He makes another cover, but only gets a two, frustrating him further. He picks Billy up and throws him out of the ring. He distracts the ref, allowing Crooooow to stomp Billy's back and throw him back into the ring. Nykk picks up Gunn and backs him into a corner, chopping at his chest.

He turns to the crowd to tell someone to shut up, and Gunn retaliates with some right hands. Croooooow gets on the apron behind Billy, but receives an elbow to the face and falls back to the floor.

However, Nykk executes a jawbreaker on Billy. As Billy turns around in pain, Nykk clips the knee. He signals for the Texas Cloverleaf, but Gunn fights out of it with right hands. Nykk picks him up in anger and forearms him against the ropes.

He whips Gunn into the ropes, but Gunn reverses and catches Nykk in a tilt-a-whirl slam. Nykk gets up but is knocked down with right hands. Nykk charges but is met with a sidewalk slam for a two count. Croooooow gets on the apron as Nykk rolls out of the ring. Billy goes over to hit him, but Croooooow gets out of the way by dropping back to the floor. Nykk gets a chair and gets back in the ring. The ref protests, but Nykk raises it anyway. Gunn kicks him in the midsection and grabs the chair. He raises it, but Croooooow hops on the apron again and takes the chair, dropping back down to the floor. Nykk tries a running clothesline, but Billy ducks. Nykk bounces off the ropes and ducks a clothesline from Billy, immediately turning around and catching him from behind with a half nelson bulldog. He makes the cover and gets two.

He whips Gunn into the ropes again, but Billy reverses and catches Nykk with a military press slam. Billy signals for the FameAsser, and bounces off the ropes. Croooooow trips Gunn, and Billy rolls to the outside to go after Croooooow. Croooooow has the chair and raises it to hit Billy, but accidentally drops it behind his back. He begs off, but Billy lifts him in a military press and throws him into the rest of the PPV Squad, who are now standing at the guardrail. They stagger back and fall onto the couch, their momentum tipping it over.

Gunn slides back in the ring, but Nykk drops a quick elbow drop onto the back. Meanwhile, Croooooow gets off the Squad and goes back to ringside, leaning down. Nykk goes up to the top rope and goes for a double axehandle.

Gunn catches him with a fist to the midsection, doubling Nykk over. He bounces off the ropes to deliver the FameAsser, while Nykk brings the ref over to accuse Gunn of a low blow.

However, Croooooow snatches up the chair and hits Billy in the back with it as he reaches the ropes. Billy slumps to the mat in pain and Nykk drags him to the center of the ring and applies the Texas Cloverleaf, leaning his knee into Gunn's back. Gunn waits a few moments and then taps out. The ref calls for the bell and raises Nykk's hand in victory.

Winner: Nykk at 8:29

JR: ...and dammit all, Nykk is the winner with the Texas Cloverleaf and a tap-out by Billy Gunn!

Paul: And Nykk has proven to us that he has what it takes to go the distance in the WWF!

JR: Oh, that's bunch of bologna, Paul. He needed help from that guy Croooooow throughout the entire match.

Paul: Yeah, but did you see how Nykk methodically worked over the knee and back of Billy Gunn? All to set up for the Texas Cloverleaf, which puts a vast amount of pressure on the knees and back. He knows what he's doing in there.

Replays are shown of Croooooow being slammed into the rest of the Squad, Croooooow hitting Billy with the chair, and Nykk's variation of the Texas Cloverleaf.

JR: Now what are they doing?

Huh, Jay and Cheesecake lift the couch and throw it into the ring. Nykk grabs a mic.

Nykk: Like I said before, Billy, we're here to put people like you out of the WWF. But Billy, you've had a long career and you deserve to retire. We thank you for your services all these years, and as a token of our appreciation, here's a nice couch for you to sit on and watch the PPV Squad every Monday night!

Jay and Cheesecake lift the couch and slam it onto Billy Gunn's back.

JR: Good Lord! What vile human beings! We may need some help out here for Billy Gunn.

Paul: I think the PPV Squad is starting to realize that to survive here in the WWF, you need to play ball. There's a certain ruthlessness to them and I like it.

JR: You would.

The PPV Squad exit as some officials come out to make sure Billy's okay. He's conscious and they help him to the back.
