| Rules YES, There are rules. 1). There is no color in magick, only intent. 2). Love spells = trouble Let me tell you a story about love spells. A friend, I'll call him, "Bob" who was new to Paganism, got up the courage to go to his first open circle. Met someone there, who decided that she was interested in "Bob" romantically. Bob told her that he was married and had no wish to get involved with, "Amanda". So Amanda decided to do a love spell. When Bob went to the next full moon gather, he told her that he was leaving his wife and kids to be with her. Amanda was elated. All was well for about 6 months. Then Amanda got bored and decided that she wasn't interested in Bob anymore. Bob didn't understand... she wouldn't return any of his calls. Devestated, Bob tried to kill himself. All because Amanda wanted a playmate for a while. 3) What you sow, you reap threefold. Most won't do. "Curse" type magick due to the backlash. So remember that. The backlash may not be immediatly apparent, but it does come back. |
