Bath Salts

These are the simple to make.

2 cups of Epson Salt
Wide Mouthed Jar
Food Coloring ( If color is desired )
20 drops of PEO


Place that Epson salt in the jar, add the PEO and coloring. Close lid, and shake. Shake it good to make sure that the oils and the color have mixed. Add to a bath, enjoy

Bubble Bath

1 cup of clear liquide dishsoap( Ivory works well.)
1/4 cup Glycerine
1 tsp sugar
50 Drops of PEO or Fragrance oil

Combine ingredients, mix. Pour into a container. Use 1 tsp for bath.
Chicken head cold steam
There is a story to this name. My hubby was so sick that he was willing to try and herbal remedy, something he has never done in 8 years. He had a bad sinus head cold. This steam contains Rosemay PEO. He asked what was in it, because it was working. I told him the ingredients. He looked at me and said, " What, am I chicken? " Therefore the name.....



3-4 Cups of boiling water
3 drops of Eucalyptus ( PEO )
2 drops of Rosemary ( PEO )
1 drop of Tea Tree ( PEO )
1 drop of peppermint ( PEO )


Pour the boiling water into a large bowl. Add the ingredients. Place a towel over your head and over the bowl. In hale in thru nose out thru mouth.
WARNING: Use only one drop of peppermint, any more than that, could burn your nose.
Avocado Hair Mud

This one is easy....
For each 1/2 of avocado
1 egg


Mix in a food processer, place on hair. Wrap a plastic bag around your hair. Place a warm towel over it. Rinse off and style as usual          
WARNING: Do not use really hot water to rinse, it will cook the eggs. I know from personal experience.
Its edible too.... not to bad tasting
Basic Herbal Mask

1/2 cup Plain Yogurt
1/2 Tsp Fuller's Earth ( can get at a pharmacy )
1/2 Honey
2 drops of Chamomile oil (PEO)


Mix well. Apply to face, leave on 10 mins. Wash off, rinse and moisturize skin
Lavender Soap Balls

1/3 cup Boiling water
1 Tbsp Lavender buds
4 drops of PEO lavender oil
3 1/2 cups of Ivory soap.


Grate the Ivory soap. Make a tea of the lavender buds and let steep 15 mins. Pour over the grated soap. Knead the mixture together to form balls. Air dry for 2-3 days before use.
