Weeds: Sower and tender of the weeds was once a Mistress Goddess but her ego, arrogance and conceit, coupled with her total distain for any of the Goddesses that were "beneath her station" resulted in The Great Mother Goddess punishing her "for 1,000 years and a day" to learn humility, by making her an apprentice Goddess and subjecting her to the lowly position of "Weeds". The Great Mother Goddess changed Weeds skin to green and brown, and her once fine hair is now matted and tangled like the weeds that grow in the briars. The Great Mother Goddess instructed the Goddesses to "treat her with the same distain that she has shown to others", but many of the Goddesses chose not to do that, out of pity for Weeds, even though they felt she deserved the punishment she recieved. The Great Mother Goddess smiled and said "Even though some of my Daughters chose to go against my wishes they are in effect doing them, for the pity they show towards Weeds increases her shame and humiliation because many of the Goddesses that show her pity, were the ones that Weeds treated with distain." Weeds continues to silently tend the weeds of the world, unwelcomed even by the mortals of the Earth, she serves out her punishment, hanging her head in shame and humiliation, and speaking only when spoken to, she has learned the price of her arrogance, for even though some of the Goddesses have better looks or lofty positions in the hierarchy of things they all are in effect equal as Goddesses and should be treated as such.
