06/10/09:    Hello girls and coaches! I hope all is well. Here's another 'fund-raising' opportunity: We've just received a donation of 4 tickets for the NY Liberty at MSG-- 2 for June 19th vs San Antonio, and 2 for July 11th vs Atlanta. Both games are scheduled to start at 7:30pm. There's also a $10 parking voucher included with each set of tickets! Please try to sell tickets at $3 each or 2 for $5. Collect money, names/phone #'s and we can raffle them before we leave to California. Please contact your peers and pass the information...

05/20/09:    Ladies, we will be having practice this upcoming Saturday at our regular time. Spread the word around. See you then.

05/20/09:    Ladies, the trip to Baltimore has been CANCELLED. Some of the other teams have dropped out, so it doesn't make much sense to go for a game or two. I will keep you updated on whether practice will be held this Saturday.

05/14/09:    Congrats to Coach Vargas boys team, whom have made it to the the quarterfinals by upsetting #2 Midwood HS. Now, we really need to get going in regards to Nationals. Anyone who has yet to confirm whether they are going to National's HAS to call Coach Vargas and LET HIM KNOW. Time is really not in our side. Also, we must know who's parents can drive to Baltimore by Saturday, so please start asking your parents. See you on Saturday and get ready to practice hard!!!

05/07/09:    Ladies, it has been a great season, but now it is time to concentrate on Nationals. Only those whom are invited to nationals are to come to practice from now on. Thank you all for your hard work and don't forget to continue to check the website regarding news for next year's season. Also, Omar's boys team have made playoffs and they are playing on Saturday at York College @ 4PM. If you get a chance, drop by and cheer on Brandeis HS.

04/22/09:    Ladies, regionals will be a 2 day event, April 25th-26th. The 16's team will play at Powerzone, while both 18's will be at Queens College. Therefore, THERE WILL BE NO PRACTICE ON SATURDAY!!! Please reach out to your peers and spread the word. Thank you.

04/16/09:    Ladies, there are 3 things I want to touch base on. One, there will not be practice this upcoming Saturday (04/18/09). Two, if you did not give me a size for the sweats and shirt please email me at [email protected]. Three, it seems regionals will be a 2 day event, April 25th-26th. We will inform you of when and where the games will be. So, from the looks of it we will not get to practice April 25th as well.

04/12/09:    Ladies, there will not be practice this upcoming Saturday (04/18/09). We will inform you of what will be going on regarding regionals.

03/29/09:    Ladies, there has been some confusion about practice next week. We will be practicing at Brandeis this Saturday(04/04/09) at our usual time. The 16's team will then be playing on Sunday at Bard College.

03/24/09:    Ladies, we will be practicing at Brandeis this Saturday(03/28/09) at our usual time. Also, if you have a pink uniform, please return them by this Saturday. I AM STILL MISSING 6 OF THEM!!! We are going to donate them to a school of Haitian children in the Dominican Republic.

03/16/09:    We finally know the sites for our next tournament. Yes, I said SITES. For the first time this season, both 18 teams will not be playing at the same site. 18-1 will be at Stony Brook University, while 18-2 will be at Center Moriches HS. This means that we need parents to drive from BOTH teams. I encourage you all to start asking your parents as soon as possible and start E-mailing your respective coach whether your parent is available to drive or not!!!

03/09/09:    Congratulations to the success of the 16's team this past weekend. Both 18 teams will be competing March 22nd next. The location will not be known until next weekend, but we urge each player to start asking their parents if they are available to drive.

02/27/09:    Ladies, sorry for the late update, but we will be practicing at Brandeis H.S. tomorrow morning at our regular time. Be there by 9:15 AM. Hope to see all of you there.
