2002-12-21 ********** ADOPTED! **********NYC, NY: LUNA - Miss Personality!!! Luna is full of personality, a real talker, lots of company, feisty, playful, friendly and active. She is beautiful, with amber eyes flecked with blue, pure white, part Siamese. She is 9 years old, spayed, up to date on shots. She is deaf (a genetic problem in 25% of white cats), but otherwise in perfect health. Her daddy was an older man who is now in a nursing home. Her need to be "top cat" means she will do best as the solo pet in a household without small children. Reasonable adoption fee to cover vaccinations, etc. If you would like to give Luna a loving home, please call Melissa ********** ADOPTED! **********.

2002-10-25Hoboken, NJ: Logan, the beautiful seal snowshoe: He is very very friendly and loves to play with other cats. He was rescued from a store, where he was left behind after the owners closed it, left with just a few cans of cat food. Someone heard him crying, and called us. He's young -- we think -- from the way he plays with the other cats. Sponsored by CAP (Companion Animal Placement - a rescue group). Please contact Mary Ann at [email protected].

2002-10-02My name is Maritza Beniquez, I'm Candy's Mom. I was refered to you guys by Kashima ( an animal rescurer ) Candy is a beautiful 3 year old siamese with the most beautiful blue eyes that you've ever seen. Needless to say we love her very, very much... I've been searching for someone to be able to provide her with a good stable home like the one she has now. Unfortunatly, my daughter has been suffering from allergies for the last year. Four weeks ago she suffered another asthma attack that landed her in the hospital this time. As much as I love my Candy and believe you me the feeling is mutual ( she loves us also ) I have to think of my daughters health first. My daughter has been taking her medications and the doctor just resently placed her on a new cortico steroid, which has bought us a little time but eventually as much as I hate to let my Candy girl go, reality is that i will have to. Candy has been with us for the last 2 years. I rescued her from a home in Queens where the beasts that owned her had abandonded her in a carrier in the back yard. Needless to say the people that owned the house next door ( a co-worker ) called me and I came to her rescue. She has been a joy in my life ever since. Shes very affectionate once she gets to know you, and has slept with me every day since she came home. Never once has she ever scratched either myself or the kids not even in play. She loves the attention she gets when we call her to the living room for her daily hair brushing and is an excellent hunter!! She has proven her hunting skills on several occasions when shes caught a couple of pesty mice and has proudly hung on to them until we came to her rescue. I will stress that she is very very loved by us, and if not for the situation that we've been placed in, she would spend the rest of her natural life with us. I am an avid fan of the siamese breed and owned a beauty like her for eighteen years before my daughter was born. ( Marie died of natural causes in 1987 ) Please help us, feel free to call me either at work or home. My home # is 718-299-0156 , you'll definately have better luck trying to reach me at work. --- Maritza & Candy -- Bronx, NY, But we will travel for the right person ( preferably single ) willing to give her a warm, loving and caring home.
2002-09-22Hi, I've had my beloved Djinn for 7 yrs. She's a beautiful apple head siamese, or himalayan. She has light denim blue eyes and is very affectionate. I've developed an allergy and must find a new home for her. She's healthy and well-behaved. I live in manhattan but i could come to Brooklyn or Queens if you have a policy of not euthanizing animals. I love her very much but can't keep her as my health is suffering enormously. I also have an all black cat, half Siamese, Buttercup, who's almost 20 and not in good shape. She is probably not adoptable and i don't know what to do about her. Both cats are spayed. Please contact me at [email protected] -- Bonny
2002-09-19I am hoping you can help me find a home for my gorgeous 10 year old Siamese cat (She has a touch of Himalayan in her, and is absolutely beautiful). Due to a new position at work, I will be traveling many weeks at a time and will not be able to keep her. Emma is approximately 15 pounds, with a white bib, and black markings on the ears, paws and tail. She is fairly standoffish with strangers at first, but intensely loyal once she attaches to you. She is spayed, and has all her shots. She is very clean, and loves to sleep in the sun and eat (both wet and dry food). Please let me know if you can help me! She deserves a loving home. Thank you in advance for your wonderful work. Sincerely, Sarah Zimmerman 212-843-8055 [email protected]
2002-09-18Simba is a 51/2 yr. old seal snowshoe siamese. He is neutered & declawed. Has been tested against felv/fiv. His last routine checkup was 12/08/00. He was my daughter's cat but when she got a dog he became upset & they didn't get along. He is beautiful, very affectionate and playful & loves attention. We took him to give him a home. But our 14 year old Calico is so affraid of him she is soiling all over.It just isn't fair to either cat. Thank You Maura & Ed email: [email protected]
