Requirements: Graduation from a 4-year accredited institution, residence in the NYC metropolitan area, committment to the organization and our principles, 2.7 minimum undergraduate GPA, recent community service history.

Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated was found on April 9, 1990 by 5 prestigious women. These women created what is now the Largest Latina-based multicultural sorority in the nation. With over 100 chapters, associations and colonies. We now have entities from New York to Florida, Wisconsin to California and everywhere in between. We are comprised of over 5500 sisters that represent over 100 nationalities including Indian, Mexican, Dominican, Israeli, Dutch, American, Thai, and Cuban.
