Buckeyes start 2-0

Buckeyes moved to 2-0 on the season, downing host River Valley, 41-14 Friday.
The Buckeyes used another strong game from sophomore tailback Derek Arnold,
who rushed for 218 yards, while scoring three touchdowns.
Arnold's first touchdown run covered 73 yards. In the third quarter he added
a 21-yard touchdown run. He also scored a defensive touchdown, returning an
interception 41 yards for six points.
Zach Talbert added two touchdowns for the Buckeyes. He scored once on the
ground - a three yard run - and once on defense. He recovered a fumble and
took the ball two more yards for a touchdown. On the game, he had 10 carries
for 35 yards.
The sixth Nelsonville-York touchdown came from freshman Isaiah Andrews, a
nine yard run. Andrews had two carries for 15 yards.
Nick Hunter got two carries for the Buckeyes, and gained 22 yards. Michael
Barrick completed 5-of-11 passes for 56 yards, with an interception.
Conner Bunting caught two passes for the Buckeyes for 29 yards. Arnold had
one reception for 16 yards, while Josh Dickerson caught a pass for eight
yards.
Josh Lyon recorded two solo tackles for the Buckeyes to go along with nine
assists. Terrance Fox had two solo tackles, with five assists.
The Buckeyes stay on the road next week, when they take on Trimble on Saturday.
