Lora
~ Kidnapped?
* Not proofread and will love to be proofread. Thankyou. ^ ~
“Hmm… I wonder what just happened.” Tina said, losing track in thought. “Who were those people and why were they attacking us? And what’s with this flute? It doesn’t make a nice sound, that’s for sure, but it packs a lot of damage. I like it!”
“Quit blabbering and help me wake him up.” Bobby interrupted Tina as he poured another bucket of water onto the old man. It had been almost a half an hour and Jeeya still hadn’t woken up yet. “Hmm… maybe he is dead.”
“See I told you!” Catherine exclaimed. “What kind of old person can stand that loud, high-pitched, annoying, screeching sound?”
“That one right there.” Michelle answered her as she pointed towards the bed. The old man was sitting straight up like nothing had happened.
“ZOMBIE!” Bobby and Catherine screamed together and Lora fell backwards on the chair she was sitting on.
“Where am I?” Jeeya asked. “Oh…this is my house.” Jeeya looked around and his eyes rested on the five, startled friends. “Oh did you guys bring me in?”
“No, you just walked in here yourself.” Michelle said sarcastically. “So now since you’re awake, do you mind telling us what exactly is going on? Not to mention why we were almost killed by a bunch of weirdoes.”
Jeeya looked at Michelle for a few seconds and then dropped his gaze onto the floor. “I don’t think this was your fault at all. They probably just attacked you because you were trying to defend our town from them. And for that I thank you. I would’ve never been able to drive them away on my own.”
“So let me get this straight.” Lora spoke. “These Night Stalkers are from a company called Nightmare Corp., who are bandits that steal money from other people to gain power over the world? And somehow we got dragged into this problem by helping you defend your town.”
“Precisely.” Jeeya said, after thinking for a moment.
“Ah…! What have we gotten ourselves into?” Lora whined.
“Don’t worry, seeing that you are skilled fighters, you won’t have any problems at all.” Jeeya continued.
“Skill? Who said anything about skilled? This is a total fluke that we didn’t all get crushed into human pancakes!” Bobby said, as he went into a rage.
Suddenly, all of them were silent. There seemed to be nothing more to say and nothing else to do. Jeeya would’ve kicked them out to rid the uncomfortable situation, but he couldn’t due to the fact that they saved his life. Then Jeeya looked up at Bobby and slapped him across the face.
“WAH!!! WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!” Bobby cried in pain. The others were all surprised at the sudden move Jeeya took. Then the old man slowly opened his hand to reveal a little tiny black object.
“What is that?” Tina asked, tilting her head to get a better look at it.
“It’s a tracking device that the Night Stalkers use.” Jeeya told them.
“Wow. Look what you’ve done Bobby! How stupid can you get? You let them put a tracking device on your face and you didn’t even know!” Tina screamed at him. “If Jeeya didn’t break it, they could’ve followed us to the end of the universe!”
“Hey how would I know if it’s on my face?!” Bobby retorted. “You guys should notice because you’re the ones that can see my face! My eyes don’t just pop out to see if my face is clean you know!”
“I don’t want to hear it!” Tina covered her ears.
Lora gave a big sigh and stood up. “Can I use the washroom please?”
“Uh yea. It’s the first door in that hallway.” Jeeya said.
Lora walked across the room to the hall and went into the room. She locked the door and there was a typical clicking sound to it. ‘Wow this place is pretty clean.’ Lora said to herself. Then all of a sudden she saw something moving behind her. She quickly whipped around to find a Night Stalker at the window. “AH! HENTAI!!” Lora said as she grabbed a whole bunch of unknown bottles and threw them through the window. The bottles missed and with a scoop, the Night Stalker grabbed Lora and ran.
“What is it Lora?” Catherine asked trying to open the locked door. “Are you okay? Did you faint or something? Are you still in there?”
“Let me do it.” Jeeya said as he kicked the door down. Bobby put his hands over his eyes while the others peeped in.
“She’s not here!” Michelle shouted. “But how?”
“NO! Lora is gone!” Catherine repeated.
“Where could she have gone?” Tina asked.
“Can I look now?” Bobby removed his hands from his eyes.
“I smell trouble.” Jeeya closed his eyes.
