

クモ (kumo, 蜘蛛) means �spider�. In the class
Arachnida, spiders are invertebrate animals with two body segments. They
have eight legs, no chewing mouth parts or wings, and all spiders are able to
produce silk. クモのす (kumonosu, 蜘蛛の巣; spider webs) are
one of the strongest natural materials made by animals, and is used to capture
prey, holding eggs, and is a home to spiders.

すうがく (suugaku, 数学) is mathematics in Japanese.
As a base for the major of careers, math is a fundamental course taught to
children throughout their education life. Mathematics can be separated into
four categories: quantity (arithmetic), structure (algebra), space (geometry),
and change (analysis).

ミルク (miruku) comes directly
from the English word �milk�. Another way of saying it is ぎゅうにゅう (gyuunyuu,
牛乳) which can be
seen as �牛� meaning �cow�,
and �乳� which means �milk�. It�s a
rich source of saturated fat, protein, calcium, and vitamin C. A reaction to
milk, called Lactose Intolerance, is primarily diarrhea, cramps, and
bloating, is caused by an insufficient amount of enzyme Lactase that are necessary
to digest the predominant sugar in milk. Due to large amounts of protein, milk also
causes allergic reactions which can result in death.

マンゴー (manngo-) is a fruit native to
India: mango! Mangoes are grown in tropical regions, and the fruit acquires a
sweet and unique taste. It�s often used to make juices, in both ripe and unripe
forms, and is a common flavour of milk, ice cream, and cake. Rich in dietary
fibre and carbohydrates, mangoes contain diverse essential vitamins and
minerals.

チョウセンニンジン (chousen ninnjinn, 朝鮮人参) which can be read
as something that looks similar to people (�人� = human), is the Japanese word for ginseng.
The forked shape of the ginseng root resembles the legs of a man, therefore it
is called the �man root�. With abilities to strength the body against stress,
and acts as an antioxidant, it is illustrated as a medicine that can heal all
illnesses in mythological stories. Longevity is often thought of with the
consumption of ginseng. It has a bitter taste that most people are not used to.
