| Anyone who knows me at all knows I have a love affair with wolves and I hurt for them when they are mistreated or killed for senseless reasons. Five years ago in 1996 pairs of wolves were transported from Wisconsin to Montana and placed in Yellowstone National Park to increase their numbers there. It worked on some level but some were killed because they had reportedly killed some of the rancher's livestock. I lived in Paradise Valley in Montana at the time and I believe the few animals that were killed were not necessarily the work of the wolves. There are coyotes near these ranches too but the wolves were blamed. The wolves live free and these photos are free. Thanks for visiting. Reesy |
