A banda come�ou com o nome de HOOKER. Gravou o primeiro Ep �Working Girls�. Em 1986, Geoff Crtis sai para entrar no GRIM REAPER, e � substitu�do pelo baixista Nick Hughes (ex-PERSIAN RISK). No mesmo ano Lee Silver � substitu�do por Mark Thompson-Smith (ex-FAY WRAY), que s� fica um e entra Snake (ex-TOBRUK), depois mais um ex- TOBRUK entra, sai Mike Fisher e entra Eddie Fincher. A bandfa acaba em 1988, com Nick Burr e Tim Jones entrando para o PASSION. Burr depois gravou demos com o MIDNIGHT BLUE, antes de entrar para o KILLERS e depois para o LIONSHEART (de Steve Grimmett, v ex-GRIM REAPER). Lee Silver montou o LOVE AND WAR junto o baixista Malcolm Gould (ex-MARSHALL LAW) e Thompsom-Smith foi para o FLIGHT 16 e para o PRAYING MANTIS (para um EP e uma turn� no Jap�o). Snake foi para o WILDHEARTS. Hughes est� com uma banda tributo ao OZZY OSBOURNE, chamada WIZARDS OF OZ. Working Girls (EP / 1985) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INCUBUS H� atualmente uma outra banda (rock pop punk) na Inglaterra com o mesmo nome e tamb�m j� teve tamb�m uma banda de Death Metal, tamb�m americana que lan�ou o �lbum Serpent Temptaion (88). A forma��o desta era Steve Crawford (d), Dave Crawford (v), Ken Crawford (g) e Colin Evans (b). Running Away (EP / 1988) Formado no meio dos anos 80 em Reading de v�rias outras bandas locais, IRONHEART logo entrou no circuito de show na Gr�-Bretanha, fazendo v�rios shows de prest�gio, como em ambos Marquee em Londres e no 100 Club. Abriram para v�rias bandas da NWOBHM, como SAXON, FM, ROMEOS DAUGHTER e muitas outras. O tecladista/guitarrista Chris Wigmore se mudou para a Fran�a em 88 e foi substitu�do por Dave B. O EP �Running Away� vendeu aproximadamente 2000 c�pias. Outro Ep, chamado �Razors Edge� foi gravado, mas nunca lan�ado. Paul Wrightson foi despedido da banda devido a grandes diferen�as pessoais com o resto da banda. Na impossibilidade de achar o vocalista certo, a banda encerrou as atividades e, 19990/91. Kev Rumble (b) n�o tocou mais, por 9 anos, at� entrar GRANGERS FARMYARD, (www.grangersfarmyard.com). O resto da banda foi fazer outras coisas tamb�m, Steve Simpson passou por v�rias bandas como THE PLACK, KANE & CO., at� que formou o CACTUS JACK, onde atualmente al�m de baixista � vocalista. Uma reuni�o da banda foi planejada para 2001, mas n�o aconteceu. Chris passar� por uma cirurgia no cora��o em breve (final de 2002) e quando ele estiver melhor, quem sabe a banda volta. "hi sergio, thanks for your interest in ironheart. here is a brief history..... formed in the mid 80s from various other local bands, ironheart went onto gig relentlessly on the british club circuit, playing many "prestige" gigs...such as both marquee clubs in london...and the 100 club. we supported many nwobhm acts..including saxon, FM, romeos daughter+ many others. keyboard player/guitarist...chris wigmore left for france in 88...(i think the dates are right!!) he was replaced by dave b. "running away" sold nearly 2000 copies. another ep ..."razors edge", was recorded, but never released. paul wrightson was fired after big personal differences with the rest of the band. we found it hard to find the right singer and limped on till about 1990/91,when we split. i didnt play for about another 9 years...then i joined "grangers farmyard"....a band formed just for fun........www.grangersfarmyard.com for more info. the rest of the band went onto do other things too. a reunion was planned for last year, but just didnt happen. chris has to have major heart surgery soon....so when he recovers....maybe then.. ps ....i played in many bands before ironheart......too many to mention now!"
