Grant was first introduced to French Ring Sport in 1990 when he attended a trial hosted by Paul Kavanaugh’s club.  He we hooked!  He waited for a year for his first Malinois pup, Jake, which he titled to Ring I.  Grant then went on to title his mother-in-law’s Tervuren to Ring I, and his wife’s Tervuren to Ring II.  Grant titled his 3rd Malinois to Ring III and has also titled 2 other of his dogs to Ring I, so far…  Grant is now training has first German Shepherd dog and hopes to trial him in 2003.  During the past 11 years, Grant has titled 6 dogs and has assisted in decoy work and training for dog handlers in Washington State and Oregon.  Grant is the current President, and founder, of the NWK9 Canada Ring Club.
