BWU
still places a great deal of emphasis on raw research,
and nowhere is this more evident than in the Olympian
reaches of the Santiago campus. Here the humming processors
of the Factoring Factory work tirelessly to solve mathematical
conundrums with an old-fashioned work-ethic that would
make Pythagoras proud. Santiagos centerpiece is
the famous Crypto lab, where algorithms like Mata Hairy,
Big Brother, and Silver Bullet are constantly working
to secure the right to free and extremely private communication
for beneficiaries around the world.
BWU excels at traditional research in mathematics and theoretical physics too.
The 16-Space revolution broke out from our Santiago labs, and physicists from
around the planet bring their problems for trial at the Worcester hyper-colliding
facility jovially known throughout the field as Bumper Car Heaven.
Partnerships between BWUs brightest physics minds and industry have brought
about tremendous breakthroughs in useful and profitable materials technology,
opening the age of memory upholstery, one-way ceramics, and even the radiation-sensitive
selectively-modifying lenticles in todays window glass and artificial eyes.
Wherever the world is waiting only for the imagination of man to improve it, a
BWU grad wont be far behind.
