At BWU, everything begins here.
Without the legions of top-shelf primary and secondary education teachers our
Education Department places into school systems around the world, we wouldn’t
have the bright crop of young collegiate students prepared to help us find the
answers to the world’s woes.
Over the past century, BWU has played a major role in raising the level of respect
and remuneration awarded to teachers around the world. After all, BWU started
out as a teachers’ college over a century ago! That original mission still
infuses the mindset of the university’s administration.
Of course, improvement starts at home, and BWU leads the way in advanced pedagogy.
While our research and publication focus is second to none, BWU has always placed
a premium on attracting and retaining the finest educators in the world. After
all, if you’re going to create the best graduates around, you need to have
the best teachers.
