| So far I have spent 21 years on this planet, and while I may have almost nothing to offer anyone just yet, I do have a few words of wisdom I would like to share. This past year I have been enlightened, whether it be the hell month I spent in prison or the loss of everything I once knew, I now have a different perspective on life. An old saying which I used to think false is now just as true as the sky is blue. "money can't buy happiness" and "Love is the greatest of all things" are two quotes that have been passed on thru time, to give people like me an understanding of what life is really about. When I think back over my 21 years and analyze my life, it seems quite clear to me that my happiest times where when I was in Love. So in an effort to pass of some advice to people who have not been in love or people who think they are in Love...I offer these simple guidelines. And no I am no expert, but I was once so deep in Love that it is almost unexplainable. Love is... When you cannot make it trhough your day without calling your loved one multiple times. When you make excuses to see the one you love...not vice versa. When you have had a horrible day, and you don't want to eat, sleep, shower, or anything else except be with your loved one. When you can spend every waking moment together for five days and still want to see her on the sixth day. When you drive hundreds of miles just to spend one hour with him or her. When you dream about your loved one. When you two are sleeping in the same bed and you cannot sleep, instead you just watch him or her as they sleep and cannot think of anything except how lucky you are. When sex is not the most important thing. When your loved one is sick, hurt, depressed, or in trouble you are right by their side. When it's just you two against the world but it doesn't matter as long as you have eachother. When you can cry in front of your loved one. When you fight, only to make up three minutes later. When you surprise your loved one day in and day out...even for many years. When even though you do not agree with something your loved one is doing, you support it because you know it is their best interest. When you say I Love You so many times you can't possibly count them all. When your loved one is just as good looking sick as they are dressed for the prom. When nothing can stop you from helping your loved one. When you carry a picture of your loved one in your wallet/purse just so you can see there face when you are away. Lastly and most importantly, When you would die for your loved one. I offer these guidelines as advice, the actions listed above is my way of showing Love and it may not be the same for everyone. I must advise you however, if you are deep in love...hold on and enjoy the ride. Love is the Greatest of all things and it makes us all better people. |
