Deadman Rises To The Top
Deadman was undefeated in his journey to become NWF Smackdown Champion. He won his first battle royal on Smackdown in April and won all eight of the follow up matches to become the number one contender. Then Dyehard took it to him in the title match but in the end Deadman climbed the ladder and grabbed the belt. Meanwhile, after Warrior was awarded the NWF Smackdown Womens Championship after the first Draft Lottery, she proved that she should be the champ after successfully retaining agaist Quirin.
