[The PW Shockwave Theme Music plays as a series of recorded clips of PW wrestlers fighting flash by, then the camera begins to shake, as if it's mounted on a tripod during an earthquake. The shots shake around more and more uncontrollably, until everything is a blur. At precise the moment when nothing is recognizable on the screen anymore, the Planet Wrestling SHOCKWAVE logo appears with a rumble. The shot then cuts to the interior of the Kemper Arena, shot from a sweeping aerial view, that shows off a jam-packed arena of cheering fans complete with their many creative signs held up over their head, and fireworks going off near the entranceway and the ring area. We get a ringside shot of the fans at ringside, who are obviously the same people that have been following Ken Jansen and Valentine on the road lately. Each of them wears a black "Heartbeat of Canada" T-shirt with the gold maple leaf and silver EKG logo. The shot then cuts to the ringside announcer's table, where announcers David Deyo and his colleague Rick Richards are seated.]

Dave - We're coming to you LIVE from a full house here in Kansas City's Kemper Arena!! The fans anticipation for tonight's card is reaching it's boiling point, and I can hardly hear myself think!! Ken Jansen's brought his fans and bought them ringside seats, and there are Kevin Hall fans filling the rest of the building and everyone is going crazy, for ladies and gentlemen, this _is_ Shockwave!!! The Battle of the Crown is right around the corner, and on this second stop of Planet Wrestling's promotional tour, have we got a card for YOU!

Rick - No doubt about it, Dave! And in case you don't know WHY the crowd here is going crazy, let me remind you that their hometown boy, the Extreme Champion himself is in the house tonight and doing battle not in one, not two, but THREE matches here tonight! But as if that wasn't enough, he's not the ONLY one who will be trying for the ha trick of victories here in the Kemper Arena: Rudy Rudos will ALSO be looking for the triple victory, but what'll happen when the two clash in the first round of the tag tournament- only ONE of the two can walk away with THAT particular win, and who will it be? We'll also be seeing Vinnie Jobberino trying to put a monkeywrench in Bombinator's plans, Esquire facing off against Zed Logan, and Kama's return to tag action along with a mystery partner when they'll be seeing the unlikely teaming of Canadians Sean Swanson and Ken Jansen in first round tag tourney action!

Dave - And as you mentioned, Rick, with Hall fighting in three matches tonight, we've got one hell-of-an event to kick the show off! We have PAIN's Nemisis, the nearly unstoppable machine taking on Kevin Hall for the Extreme Title! After last weeks tag match these two must be fuming!

Rick - You can say that again. Hall's been pretty liberal with the insults, but we all saw how Nemisis kept coming despite everything Hall threw at him last week. I think we just might be about to witness the making of a new Extreme champion here tonight. Lets get things under way!

*** Nemisis Vs "Iceberg" Kevin Hall ***

Pattera - This next match is an Extreme match and is scheduled for one fall inside an electrified cage!!!.....

[The crowd is going wild. The Nemisis Theme" plays...]

Pattera - Coming down the aisle, weighing in at 357 pounds, [fans hold up Nemisis sucks signs] Nemisis!!!

[Nemisis makes his way to the ring. He moans and climbs inside the cage door.]

Pattera - And his opponent, ["The Kids Aren't All Right" by the Offspring plays throughout the arena] On his way down the Aisle, from Kansas City, MO, weighing 360 He is Keeeviiin Haaall!!!

Dave - Hall has once again got an entourage with him: Shakkal, Tamara, Matt Michaels, and Zed Logan... but how much good will it do him if he's locked up inside an ELECTRIFIED steel cage?!

[Kevin Hall walks to the ring. Tamara is once again wearing her fur coat. She slides it open as they reach the edge of the cage to reveal how little else she is wearing.]

Rick - Wow!

Dave - You can say that again. Tamara is showing us just how little it actually takes to be 'legally' clothed.

Rick - Where did she find a swimsuit that skimpy?

Dave - Why are you looking for one?

[Hall climbs into the cage, eying Nemisis who is pacing the far end of the ring. The officials lock the door and signal for the switch to be flipped. The air crackles around the cage and then the sound settles to a low hum of ionizing oxygen...]

Rick - There it goes! This cage is now electrified and could be the end of either man should they come in contact with it!

Dave - Iceberg's entourage taking seats in the front row beside a mess of Jansen's caravan...

[The Bell Rings and the match officially begins]

Rick - They're locking up... But no one's budging! It's like the Unstoppable Force up against the Immovable Object and neither man gaining ANY ground like this. Finally, Adam Kent's pulling them apart. Hall charges in with a shoulder, which takes Nemisis off his feet! Kevin Hall dives onto Nemisis and applies a headlock. He's pounding away at the forehead of Nemisis!

Dave - What an incredible series of punches!! Aaand- Nemisis's forehead's opened up and pouring out blood! Hall's busted the giant open already!

Rick - Hall now- BULLDOGS Nemisis to the canvas!! Nemisis's face is being slammed to the mat over and over by Hall!

Dave - This is crazy!! Iceberg is obviously out for blood here, and he's gotten it already! He's not letting up for an instant!

Rick - Just listen to the fans, Dave: They're LOVING this match!!

Dave - They just love it when the PW takes it to the EXTREME!! Nemisis trying to get to his feet- But Kevin Hall drags him right back down!

Rick - And just listen to the fans, Dave: They're going nuts. Someone is getting fried tonight!

Dave - This is an incredibly tricky match considering the ropes are almost completely useless to help you! Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Kevin Hall up first and bringing Nemisis to his feet the hard way- Clothesline by "The Iceberg"- NO!! Nemisis throws him down to the mat with a big hip toss! Hall not wasting any time getting to his feet. He charges, leveling Nemisis with a shoulder block!

Rick - I could hear that impact from here!

Dave - Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Kevin Hall up first and bringing Nemisis to his feet the hard way- Headbutt by Hall sends Nemisis back down to eat the canvas! "The Iceberg" with a stunned Nemisis Sending him flying towards the electrified cage... NO!! And Nemisis put on the brakes just at the last second!! Nemisis with a back kick leveling "The Iceberg"! Kevin Hall back to his feet. BIG headbutt by Nemisis!! Hall Down on one knee. Nemisis moving in... Hall grabs Nemisis with standing waistlock. Lifts him- Brings him down in a knee breaker drop!!!

Rick - Nemisis needs some help to his feet. Oh! He just ROCKED Kevin Hall with a low blow!! But that's as legal as a headlock in a match of this sorts!

Dave - The viewers at home might be asking: "Why the hell is Adam Kent in there anyway?". A pinfall or submission are the only ways to take your opponent out in this match, and there needed to be SOMEONE in there to end it... But he'd better keep his distance from the edges of the ring, not to mention these two giants of competitors!

Rick - It's ALL legal in this match- and Nemisis showing it off too as he's now just GRINDING the sole of his boot right into the eye socket of Kevin Hall! Nemisis in the air aaaand... Leg drop across the throat of Kevin Hall! Blatant 2-handed choke by Nemisis right in front of Adam Kent, but he may as well be blindfolded in there, 'cause there's nothing he can do to stop this besides give the match to Nemisis! Nemisis releases it. Kevin Hall grabs him quick- Armbar submission applied!!! Nemisis in no-man's land- WOW! I can't believe it!!! Nemisis is powering his way out of it! Yes- The hold is broken! Unbelievable! And just listen to the fans, Dave. They're just LOVING this!

Dave - How can you BLAME them Rick? If these guys get more than six inches over the ropes they're out of it! Sure they want to see Iceberg win, but that cage has more than 220 volts flowing through it and I don't care how big you are that's going to lay you out! And you can't forget that there may be some PAIN supporters here too...

Rick - Both men now slow to their feet.. And it's Kevin Hall up first. He has Nemisis- sends him to the ropes, Nemisis flailing to avoid the cage but got a slight shock there anyway- Sleeperhold by "The Iceberg"! Nemisis's left arm is still twitching from that shock! Looks like Nemisis is off to dreamland- NO! Nemisis with a back elbow just in time! You have to wonder what's going through their minds at a time like this Dave- Neither man is going to want to take a loss at this point! Collar and elbow lock up- No one is budging! Kevin Hall struggling to get an arm free- Closed fist punch caught Nemisis right in the forehead- And he's busted open even worse! Nemisis with that gash on his forehead bleeding freely now! Nemisis slow to get his feet trying to wipe the blood out of his eyes- But he's taken back down hard via a chop block by Kevin Hall! Nemisis on his feet- charging Hall! "The Iceberg" goes down hard! Nemisis is on him wailing away! OH! Iceberg with a pushoff kick sending Nemisis into the air and halfway across the ring!!!

Dave - They're both just trying to shake the cobwebs out: A match like this one can take a toll on one's body... Just listen to the fans, Rick: They're just going nuts, this place is going completely wild!!

Rick - They're just waiting to see Nemisis get fried on that cage!!

Dave - I don't doubt it... This is some match we're seeing here. Both men are giving and taking an awful lot of punishment in this anything-goes contest. They're on the mat, Rick, but despite his size, that's where Kevin Hall is at his most dangerous! Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Nemisis up first and helping Hall to his feet- Small package by "The Iceberg"! 1-2- NO! Nemisis barely kicks out! Kevin Hall taking a second to catch his breath.

Rick - Nemisis rolling on the mat toward "The Iceberg"- OH! A rolling back elbow by Nemisis landed DIRECTLY on Kevin Hall's nose! Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Nemisis up first and bringing Kevin Hall to his feet the hard way- Headbutt by Nemisis sends Hall back down to eat the canvas!

Dave - An uncharacteristic Boston crab being applied by Nemisis ... all he has to do is turn him over!...

Rick - He may have him with that.. NOOO!! Kevin Hall got out of that at the last second! Hall looks like he's been through a lot, but Nemisis's not about to let up- Series of stomps and Kevin Hall may be in trouble! Nemisis with a stunned "Iceberg" He tries to spin him into the ropes but Iceberg rolls away at the last second. Nemisis having a hard time seeing here wiping frantically at the blood running into his eyes. Hall up- levels him with a kick to the head! Hall is trying to pull Nemisis back to his feet. Nemisis with an eye gouge!! Down goes Kevin Hall! What an awesome match!!!!

Dave - You'll only see action like THIS in the PW!

Rick - Kevin Hall trying to push himself to his feet.. Nemisis just waiting for him- OH! Quick shot to the kidney area there by Nemisis! Hall with a waist lock- slamming Nemisis into the mat!!! Kevin Hall all over Nemisis with a flurry of punches! Nemisis somehow manages to push him off! Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Kevin Hall up first and bringing Nemisis to his feet the hard way - Kevin Hall HAULS him down again with a lunging clothesline!

Dave - Nemisis may want to get the licence plate number on THAT truck! Hall keeping Nemisis off his feet here completely taking away the size advantage held by Nemisis... And just listen to the fans, Rick: The fans are chanting the word 'Fence'!

Rick - That fence is just what these two big guys are trying to avoid! Iceberg has been rendering quite a beating on Nemisis but one slip and that fence could make either man a winner.

Dave - "The Iceberg" pulls Nemisis head back planting a knee in the center of his spine!

Rick - Nice work there by "The Iceberg"! But Nemisis with a hand free- GRABS that bottom rope and the hold is broken! Both men now slow to their feet.. And it's Kevin Hall up first. He has Nemisis- sends him to the ringpost! And down goes Nemisis!

Dave - "The Iceberg" on top of Nemisis- Hall hammering away at the head of Nemisis! OH! And Nemisis instinctively shoved him away. Kevin Hall getting to his feet and helping Nemisis to his feet -choke hold by Kevin Hall! He slams Nemisis back to the mat with authority! "The Iceberg" rolls over onto him- 1-2- No! Only a 2-count. Kevin Hall to his feet first and he has Nemisis by the ankle- Spinning toe hold applied! Nemisis struggling! Hall drops the elbow! Nemisis slow to get his footing back- But he's taken back down hard via a chop block by Hall! Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Nemisis up first and helping Kevin Hall to his feet - elbow drop by Nemisis driving Hall to the mat!

Rick - Hall is moving back to his feet. "The Iceberg" now, with Nemisis by the leg- Leg drag takedown by Hall! That's a dangerous move! Nemisis's could have his hip, knee or ankle dislocated from a move like that! But Hall's pulling all the stops in this loser fries match!

Dave - Nemisis grabs Halls waistband and pulls him face foreward into the turnbuckle! He rolls Hall up - Nemisis covering- 1-2- NO! So close! And it looks like Nemisis thought so too from the way he's moaning! Nemisis pulling Hall to his feet and lifting him up... DOWN into a Backbreaker! What do you think of THAT move Rick?

Rick - Hall's going to be seeing a chiropractor about that one!

Dave - Somehow it's Kevin Hall back to his feet. Kevin Hall spins Nemisis around into a fireman's carry pickup- OH!!! Death Valley Driver RIGHT into the second turnbuckle! I think Hall was shooting for the fencing but just couldn't keep the massive bulk of Nemisis above the ring post!

Rick - What an incredible move!!! Both men are down and look absolutely exhausted!... But Kevin Hall finally up to his feet first! Nemisis climbing back to his feet, Kevin Hall moves in... he's got him hooked... Vertical Suplex! Wow! But both men to their feet quicker than you can say Ambesol! These guys just keep coming!

Dave - Here we go with a tie up, two power houses here in Planet Wrestling... Who's coming out on top Rick?

Rick - Well, Nemisis just shoved him away and now he's tattooing Kevin Hall with chops!! Both men are down and it looks like they're just taking a second to catch their breaths. Both men are down and look absolutely exhausted! Taking some time to get moving here... Nemisis finally up to his feet first! Nemisis- DOWN with the legdrop! On his knees and again choking the life out of Hall! The crowd booing him in their disapproval and Nemisis is up and moaning at the fans loudly! Perhaps playing to the crowd now is Nemisis, and he's getting them REALLY riled up! They don't want to see him parading around, they want to see him sparking up on that electrified cage! Nemisis just kicking Hall back down to the canvas repeatedly! Kevin Hall just can't get to his feet, and Nemisis isn't about to let him! Hall with a counter kick knocks Nemisis off his feet!

Dave - Hall grabs Nemisis by the throat lifting him up off the mat! He's holding him there with one arm! He's choking Nemisis out right in front of Adam Kent, but he might as well be doing it in front of the queen mum for that matter, 'cause there's nothing Kent can do in this battle! Kevin Hall slamming Nemisis to the mat. Kevin Hall down and drapes his arm over him for a cover- 1-2- Nemisis gets the shoulder up. I can't believe Nemisis is still awake!!

Rick - Nemisis' face is being slammed to the mat over and over by Kevin Hall!

Dave - Hall jerking Nemisis up and powers him into a lift!!! Slamming him down hard head first into the ringpost!!! Rick - This may be it for Nemisis!

Dave - Nemisis gets to his knees, Hall grabs his head... NO! Nemisis grabs Hall by the ankles throwing "The Iceberg" off his feet - DROPS the low blow headbutt!

Rick - Extreme match or not, that HAD to hurt! Nemisis is up again, not giving Hall much time to catch his breath. He has him in his sights... and DROPS another falling headbutt!

Dave - He's really out to hurt Hall! Both men now slow to their feet.. And it's Nemisis up first. He has "The Iceberg"- sends him to the ropes... NO! "The Iceberg" reverses it sending Nemisis flying over the top rope! Nemisis slamming into the electrified fencing. Dear lord! Look at the sparks flying!

Rick - CRIPES! Nemisis falling back into the ring. HE's not moving he's out! Kevin Hall goes for the cover, Adam Kent counts ...1 ...2 ...3!!!

Pattera - Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner... Keeeevvvviiiinnnn "IIICCCEEEBBBEEEERRRRGGG" HHHHAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!!

Dave - Nemisis is still twitching! Officials are calling for the power to be cut!

Rick - Iceberg crawling out of the cage before medical crews rush in to check on Nemisis...

[Suddenly the sound of the electrified fence firing up again is heard. The hum fills the air, one security officer holding the gate door flies backwards from the sudden jolt.]

Dave - What the?!!....

Rick - Here comes Demonknight! He just throttled Iceberg backwards into the fencing! Hall received an incredible jolt!

Dave - Hall is down! Logan and Michaels are over the railing and taking chase on Demonknight!! They caught him!

Rick - The two of them laying into Demonknight here, while Tamara and Shakkal check on Iceberg. The Extreme Champ is out COLD, folks!

Dave - Logan with a double ax handle to the shoulder of Demonknight driving him to the ground! Michaels laying into him with the boots.

Rick - I think the "Ice Man" is extracting a little revenge here. Demonknight took a big chance charging Hall like that, knowing the back up Iceberg brought...

Dave - And I think he's regretting it already! Logan and Michaels hammering away at Demonknight! Here comes security!

[Security officers shove Iceman and Logan back. One of the officers bends down to check on Demonknight and gets a thrust kick to his midsection for the trouble. Demonknight backflips to his feet and runs past security. Logan and Michaels take pursuit leaving the security officers confused.]

Rick - Well Demonknight better keep running!... Logan and Iceman don't look like they have any intention of letting this issue drop...

Dave - Iceberg is getting to his feet. He's shaken but it appears none the worse for the wear.

[Fans cheer heartily him on as he makes it to his feet.]

Dave - And much to the delight of the fans, he will be continuing from the looks of things.

[The shot cuts to the announcer's table.]

Rick - And this Extreme Champions night has started off with a bang and promises to only get more extreme as the evening goes on... That's one down and two to go for the big man!

Dave - And speaking of the three matches scenario, while they lift the steel cage back up over the ring, let's talk about the SECOND man tonight who will be participating in match one of three here next, when the self-proclaimed "The King of the Barrio Streets", Rudy Rudos takes on Dr. Troy Howard!

Rick - What is this guy trying to PROVE anyway, Dave? He comes into the PW fighting his first match as a handicap match and escapes from that situation and from Throttle to Shockwave jumps out of the fat and into the fire, getting himself into THREE matches on his second scheduled PW card! Talk about confidence!

Dave - Sounds like OVERconfidence if you ask me. Hall was placed in the matches HE'S in because of his Extreme Title requirements and the scheduling of a Tag Tournament match on the same night. The rookie Rudos on the other hand, signed HIMSELF into his two singles matches for the night at the last minute to give him three matches including HIS tag tournament match!

Rick - Is he trying to COMPETE with Hall or something; trying to lure him into a title shot for after Battle for the Crown by living in Iceberg's shadow to try to prove he's just as extreme or what?!

Dave - I don't know, Rick, but the cage has been raised and it looks like we're about to get underway... [The bell rings as the shot switches to the ring, where Pattera stands with mic in hand he raises it to his mouth, but "No" by Soulfly starts up, cutting him off.]

Dave - Well, I guess we know what this means...

Rick - Yeah, Rudy Rudos.

[On the aisleway, Rudy and Scooter the Panda, who's holding the black kendo stick, bust through the curtains. Rudos points to the back and he and Scooter are followed by a man in ref's clothing wearing pointy Spock ears, and another man- black midget in a little tuxedo. The Midget is carrying a case of Budweiser. They receive a very loud yet very mixed ovation.]

Dave - What the...?

Rick - When did Planet Wrestling turn into the "Rudy Rudos Big Top?"

[The party makes its way down to the ring side area and Scooter waves for the referee to step outside the ring.]

Dave - What do they want Danny Dickson for?

[The midget hands the case over to Dickson, who looks to Scooter holding the kendo stick, then smiles and ways "goodbye" to the broadcast team before heading on up the ramp to the back. Rudy's "trekkie" referee slides into the ring as does Rudos.]

Dave - What the...? Where the Heck is Dickson going?

Rick - I think he knows what's good for him, considering the crew Rudos has brought with him tonight... A parody of Iceberg's entourage perhaps?...

Dave - And more importantly, why is that midget coming over to us?

[Pattera looks around to see if anyone is watching, and then climbs out of the ring.]

Rick - He's kind of cute actually, Dave.

[The African American Midget wanders over to the broadcast table and asks Rick to bend over so he can whisper something into his ear.]

Rick - Sure thing little buddy....Ah!

[The Midget grabs Rick by his collar and tosses him out of his seat onto the floor. Before Rick knows what hit him, the vertically challenged strongman is climbing up onto the seat.] Dave - [laughing] Oh my God!

[Laughter fills the arena as "Like a Surgeon" by "Weird" Al Yankovich kicks on.]

Midget - My name _is_ Tyrone, Honkey!

Dave - What?...

Tyrone - Shut yo' mouth, Cracka' Fool! 'Fo' I stick my size three in yo' behind!

Dave - Ooo! Someone's not going to be allowed back in the building next week, Mr. Potty Mouth!

Tyrone - You is crazy!

[Dr. Troy Howard, accompanied by a pretty decent looking nurse, struts out to the ring to a minimal ovation. They both laugh at Rick as he passes them heading to the back.]

Dave - We have no Ring Announcer! And who is that ref? Does he even have a license?

Tyrone - Dat's Larry Vulcan and we don't need no 'nouncer, Fopey!

Dave - Huh?

Tyrone - My speakin anudda language o' sumptin?

Dave - Yes!

[Howard makes it into the ring and the bell is rung.]

Dave - Well... I'm not sure how official a match this is, but security seems to be letting this go and Dr. Howard isn't complaining, so here we go! Lock up and Rudos is whipped into the ropes... Kick to the stomach by the Doc and a Huge Neckbreaker!

Tyrone - Wouldna' got me wit dat!

Dave - That's because you're three feet tall!

Tyrone - You wanna step outside?

Dave - Rudos trying to get up now... Your man's getting stomped on in there, Tyrone. What do you have to say about that?

Tyrone - I f<bleep>ed Your Mom!

Dave - That's it!! You want a piece little man!

[As the two commentators are bickering Rudos is on his feet and elbows Troy in the stomach. He then grabs Howard by the back of the head and sends him over the top turnbuckle and he crashes through the announcer's table]

Dave - Holy!

[Tyrone scampers away as the crash through the table just misses Dave. Luckily his mic is still on.]

Dave - Wow! Rudy, now climbing to the top turnbuckle. Howard now on all fours trying to crawl out of this mess of wood and electrical chords. Oh, man! Guillotine Legdrop to the back of Troy's head!!! As much of a jerk as he is, Rudy with a SPECTACULAR move there!

[The high risk move has some of the fans applauding "The King of The Barrio Streets".]

Dave - Whoa! That nurse has just gouged the eyes of Rudos! [laughs] And Scooter the Panda has just run over. Tyrone is right behind him. Larry... um... Vulcan is starting to count...

Scooter - ROAR!!!

Dave - [cracks up] Scooter has just scared that nurse off! Rudos and Tyrone is chasing her to the back! Rudy is up now and he's picking up the former M.D. and he rolls him back inside the squared circle.

Rudy [yelling, but the announcer's mic barely picks it up] - How do you like that you prick!?

Dave - Rudos verbally assaulting Troy Howard and now he's putting the boots to him. Doc on his back, Rudy's climbing to the top rope once again! Senton Bomb!!! Rudos back on his feet. He's yelling at the crowd! Why is he wasting time? Vulcan's checking on the Doc. Uh-oh! Rudos is calling for that Pinnata stick. Scooter's up on the apron with that stick. The ref's telling him to get down but Scooter hands Rudy the stick making absolutely no attempt to hide it. Vulcan still yelling at the Panda, but why bother? Rudos wraps that stick around the throat of Troy Howard and it's a Russian Leg Sweep!

Rudy - Viva Los New Jersey!

Dave - Yeah, that too. Rudos covers and Vulcan counts..... 1... 2... Oh, you knew it was over! Rudos, Scooter, and Larry Vulcan stand in the center if the ring celebrating to a still very loud yet very mixed reaction. Wait, Rudy's asking for a mic...

Rudy - You saw right there, that was the first of what will be three victories for the "King of the Barrio Streets" tonight. Up next, "Iceberg" and "Iceman", you two queebies are gonna get toe up flogged by me and my boy, the Drunkaholic....

["Eat it" by Weird Al starts up]

Dave - "The Obese One!" Albert and Rudos will square off later on tonight in what will be Rudy's third match-up...

Rudy - What the Hell is this?

[Hank, with a mic in hand, stands on the top of the ramp way with a grin on his face he starts to speak.]

Hank - Listen here, you piece o' trash!

[small crowd applause]

Dave - This thing might explode right here!

Rudy - No, you listen, you tubby motherf.... I only have one thing to say to your greasy @ss. I want our match to be a "Barrio Street Brawl." No DQ, Pinfalls count anywhere, which means I can beat your fat ass all over this arena!!!

[large crowd reaction]

Hank -You want to take this backstage?! [he laughs evilly] You know where I'll be, punk!

["No" by Soulfly" starts up again as Hank makes his exit. After a few more moments of celebrating Rudos, Vulcan, and Scooter the Panda do as well. The shot cuts to ringside, where we see Dave and Rick standing behind the pile of rubble that used to be their table. Three guys in jackets that read "PW STAFF" are in the process of setting the equipment for a new table up.]

Dave - We going to commercial break now, but we still have more great action coming up folks, so stay tuned!

[The shot cuts to a commercial for the "Battle for the Crown" Pay Per View, where we see very short clips of all the participants of the event flash by in rapid sequence as a heavy, distorted bass riff, accompanied by double-pedal kick drums plays in the background. The last clip, a split screen of Smokin John Hayes and Kristoph Kahn lingers a short bit longer, only to be blinding flash of light, be replaced by a slow-spinning, 3D computer-rendered, jewel-encrusted crown. The words "BATTLE FOR THE CROWN - LIVE AND ONLY ON PAY PER VIEW" are superimposed in the corner of the screen. The commercial cuts back to the arena, were David Deyo and Rick Richards are sitting behind their new announcer's table.]

Rick - They really should make these things sturdier...

Dave - We're back on Shockwave live from Kansas City! It's been crazy here so far, but things are just heating up!

Rick - Right you are, Dave! And up next we have a match between the Nuclear Nightmare himself, the Bombinator, who will be taking on Vinnie Jobberino! Danny Dickson has returned from the back and already in the ring, let's go to Jim Pattera to announce what should be a great match...

[The bell rings and the shot cuts to the ring.]

Pattera - Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Brooklyn, New York…

["Welcome back Kotter" hits. A man walks out in a mechanic's suit, grease stained.]

Pattera - Standing six-foot-four, weighing two-hundred thirty five pounds, the Itallian Stallion, and master of the Powertool, Vinnie JOBBERINO!!!

[Jobberino makes his way down the ramp, onto the apron, and steps into the ring.]

Pattera - And now, from Three Mile Island…

[A loud whistle shrieks through the arena, and a loud explosion with accompany pyrotechnics is heard. A blacklight comes on and a glow in the dark man walks out.]

Pattera - A massive six-foot-ten, and three-hundred twenty four pounds, the Nuclear wrecking ball, and master of the Meltdown, thhheee BOMBINATOR!!!

[Bombinator steps over the top-rope.]

Dave - And both men staring each other… OH WHAT A clothesline by Bombinator!

Rick - Check for a pulse!

[The bell rings.]

*** Vinnie Jobberino vs. The Bombinator ***

Dave - No joke! Bombinator could have killed him QUICK COVER by Bombinator… One…Two… Th…

Dave - And Jobberino with a kickout.

Rick - Just barely!

Dave - Bombinator measuring… drops the big elbow… NO!!! Jobberino out of the way just in time. Both men standing up now… Vin with the punch… misses… Bombinator grabs…

Rick - OH MY!!!

Dave - German Suplex! With power! Bombinator picks up Vinnie by the hair… flurry to the midsection by Jobberino… But Bombinator shoves him away, right into the corner… Bombinator backing up… Charging Avalanche coming up…

Rick - Out of the way just in time!

Dave - And looks like Bombinator is stunned; his head hit that turnbuckle pretty hard! Jobberino grabs his head and WHAM what a headbutt! Bombinator down but Jobberino picking him up BAM another massive headbutt!

Rick - Jobberino is gonna knock himself out!

Dave - Those are massive headbutts. Jobberino picking him up for another headbutt… MISSES and Bombinator taking advantage with a sleeper hold. Trying to wear Jobberino out here.

Rick - Trying to rest! He still feels those headbutts.

Dave - Probably does! But Jobberino is stirring… elbow to the midsection… Jobberino going for something here… got him by the hair…

Rick - BAM!

Dave - Just pulled him down by the hair! He hit the back of his head hard. All these head shots could give Bombinator a concussion! And now Jobberino heading upstairs… he doesn't usually do this! Driving elbow WHAM right in the head… cover by Vinnie! One… Two…

Rick - Kickout by Bombinator!

Dave - And both men up now… punch by Vin misses again and Bombinator grabs him in a cobra clutch!

Rick - More rest time!

Dave - After an initial flurry by Bombinator, Vinnie Jobberino has dominated and been forced to spread his offense. He's too tired to try an all-out assault here, just wearing out Jobberino. But Jobberino stirring… Bombinator just lets him go…

Rick - Man, what a kick!

Dave - Bombinator with a strong kick there- OH MY GOD what a piledriver!!! But Bombinator's not done… picking him up… another kick and MELTDOWN! MELTDOWN!

Rick - That's his move! Going for the cover… One… Two… Three!!!

[The bell rings and the loud whistle shrieks through the arena once again, the lights go out and the blacklight comes one, illuminating Bombinator's day-glow tights again.]

Pattera - Yoour winner: Theee BOMBINATORRRR!!!

Dave - And that won him the match! Jobberino left laying, and looks like he's bleeding, by the powerful monster Bombinator.

[The shot cuts to ringside.]

Rick - Bombinator made short work of Jobberino in there, Dave, but you can bet that our next match will be a little different!

Dave - You're not kidding! With both competitors in this next one headed to big matches at Battle for the Crown, you KNOW that both will be fighting tooth and nail for the win here tonight! And of course I'm talking about the next match, between Esquire and New Generation X's powerhouse, Zed Logan! Let's get to Jim Pattera and get this one started!

[Shot cuts to the ring. The bell rings.]

Pattera - This next match is a scheduled for one fall......

[Fans hold up Esquire sucks signs.]

Pattera - Coming down the aisle, accompanied to the ring by his butler Geeves, Butch and Bubba, weighing in at 295 pounds, from Chicago, Illinois, he is Esquire!!!

[Esquire makes his way to the ring. We see Geeves, who is looking a little nervous.] Rick - Geeves looks like he'd rather be ANYWHERE than here tonight, folks! Don't forget, at the end of this match, unless Zed Logan is rendered UNCONSCIOUS, Geeves is set to receive a beating courtesy of the "Black Thunder"!!

Dave - I doubt that Geeves has forgotten THAT little bit of information at all, Rick...

["Iron Man" by Black Sabbath starts to play The crowd is on their feet for Zed Logan. ]

Pattera - And his opponent, Ladies and Gentlemen, from Death Valley, Introducing "Black Thunder" Zeeed Looogaaan!!!

[The chants over power the announcement as Zed Logan charges to the ring.]

Rick - Logan rushes in- Thrust kick by "Black Thunder"- caught by Esquire! Insuguiri- ducked by Esquire! Still with the foot- grabs the other- into a Scorpion deathlock right off the bat!! But Zed Logan has the ropes and Danny Dickson calling for a clean break...

[The bell rings and the match officially begins.]

*** Esquire Vs Zed "Black Thunder" Logan ***

Dave - Esquire now, with "Black Thunder" by the ankle- DRIVES the knee of Logan down into the canvas! "Black Thunder" trying to push himself to his feet... Esquire just waiting for him... Logan up- Crossface chickenwing applied by Esquire!! "Black Thunder" struggling... He gets to the ropes and the referee calls for a break. They tie up... We've got a struggle for power... Esquire using his leverage to overcome the power of the NX strongman and comes out on top with a reverse neck breaker! Esquire with his legs again!... going for the figure four- OW!! Esquire decides to go for the wishbone instead!

Rick - Nice work there by Esquire! He's aware of the size advantage that Zed Logan has and he's working the legs and groin area nicely from the start here...

Dave - Esquire now with a cover: 1- NO! "Black Thunder" with the easy kickout. Esquire and "Black Thunder" both getting their footing- Logan off the ropes- Drop toehold by Esquire! Like him or not, you can't argue that Esquire is one heck of a competitor and quite the skilled technician.

Rick - No kidding! He's been giving Zed quite a wrestling lesson here so far!

Dave - Esquire on his feet now and quick off the ropes- Elbow drop- Zed Logan out of the way just in time! Zed Logan rolling Esquire onto his back... Covering: 1- No, Esquire just rolls him off.

Rick - And it's Logan up first. He has Esquire- sends him to the ropes- Sleeperhold by the "Black Thunder"! Looks like it might be nap time for Esquire- NO! Esquire with a back elbow just in time! Zed Logan taking a knee from that blow, but is up again, not giving Esquire much time to catch his breath- BOWLS him over with a clothesline! He has him in his sights... and DROPS the falling headbutt!

Dave - Zed Logan really turning the momentum in this match around!

Rick - And just listen to the fans, Dave: They're just LOVING this!

Dave - They love NX, no doubt about it! Both men now slow to their feet...

Rick - Esquire picks him up- tilt-o-whirl slam!! Where did THAT come from? And "Black Thunder" is down! Esquire's going for a boston crab. Zed Logan somehow slips out of it! Esquire making his way around Zed... Front facelock applied by Esquire. He's holding it, but "Black Thunder" getting to his feet- Esquire up with him... turning the move around- Neckbreaker drop! Nice one! Esquire now following up nicely with a reverse chin lock on Zed Logan trying to wear him down. Esquire really leaning on Zed Logan so that he's carrying all the weight. Zed Logan now- managing to struggle free... "Black Thunder" shaking it off... But it's Esquire up first and bringing Logan to his feet the hard way- Headbutt by Esquire sends "Black Thunder" back down to the mat!

Dave - But Zed Logan is back to his feet in a hurry! Kick to the mid-section by Logan- and he nails Esquire with a falling jawbreaker! Zed Logan on his feet again! Stomping away at Esquire!! Esquire seems to be having trouble getting back on the offensive... And take a look at Geeves! He looks MIGHTY nervous out there, considering his employer isn't fairing so well in the ring right now...

Rick - Zed Logan now off the ropes aaand- Drops down onto him with the splash! And it's "Black Thunder" up once again- Off the ropes- DOWN with the elbow drop! What a comeback here by Zed and the crowd is cheering him on wildly! Both men slow to their feet this time... And it's Zed Logan up first and bringing Esquire to his feet the hard way- Clothesline by Logan- NO!! Esquire throws him down to the mat with a big hip toss! Esquire with the legdrop- Missed it! he may have taken the brunt of it right on his tailbone, too!

Dave - Logan now- crawls on top of Esquire and he's just beatin' the HECK out of him! Danny Dickson sees a closed fist and pulls Logan off of him. But Logan lands a quick kneedrop to add to the damage! Front facelock applied now by Zed Logan. He's holding it, but Esquire getting to his feet- A punch to the ribs by Esquire and Zed Logan releases the hold. Logan holding onto his ribs... But Esquire now rolling under the ropes and to the outside and Zed Logan's in hot pursuit! Zed Logan charging- OH!! Esquire dodged and Logan hit the post! Esquire now rolling Logan back and following suit...

Rick - Logan to his feet first and he has Esquire by the ankle- YANKS him off his feet! Now with a spinning toe hold applied! Esquire struggling! Zed Logan drops the elbow! Logan rolls over on top of him! Danny Dickson counting- 1... 2... NO! Zed Logan almost put this one way. "Black Thunder" not wasting any time getting to his feet, though. He measures Esquire up... hits the falling headbutt!

Dave - Sounded like two big coconuts colliding! Esquire though on the move- OW! And with the rake to the eyes before Logan could get up!

Rick - On his feet now and off the ropes- Elbow drop- "Black Thunder" dodging once again!!! But I think that Esquire may have seen that coming as he's not wasting any time getting to his feet at all... He measures "Black Thunder" up... NAILS falling headbutt this time!

Dave - Both of these men are going to need some serious headache relievers after this one's over! Say what you will about Esquire, but he's getting up again and he just keeps coming at Logan! DOWN with the kneedrop! Covering: No! Only a one count.

Rick - Esquire on his feet and Logan trying to push himself to his feet... Esquire just waiting for him.. Logan up- Cobra clutch applied by esquire- DOWN into a slam!! Esquire now pulling Logan up and backing "Black Thunder" into the corner... European uppercut by Esquire! And another! "Black Thunder" in the ropes and Danny Dickson backing Esquire to the middle of the ring... And Esquire just SPIT in "Black Thunder"'s face from halfway across the ring! Ho HO! And "Black Thunder" returns the favor with some spitting of his OWN!! What accuracy! Logan moving in- They lock up- AGAIN it's Esquire using Zed Logan's side advantage against him with a judo-style throw! Diving onto Zed- He's pounding away at the forehead of "Black Thunder"!

Dave - What an incredible series of punches!! The ref must have seen a closed fist or three though, as he's backing Esquire off and warning him about something...

Rick - "Black Thunder" getting his footing and shaking the effects of those punches off- Esquire off the ropes- Drop toehold by "Black Thunder", showing a little technical skill of his own! Both men up- Here we go with a tie up... Who's coming out on top Dave?

Dave - WOAH!! Zed Logan undeniably coming out on the top of that one, as he practically THREW Esquire across the length of the ring! Off the ropes- DOWN with the elbow drop! Zed Logan is up now on top of Esquire- he's all over him with a series of closed fists and forearms! Esquire trying desperately to get out of there, but it's no use! He has NOWHERE to run! What a match this has been so far!

Rick - I'll agree with that: it's been back-and-forth all the way!

Dave - You're not kidding! This one could go either way, Rick!

Rick - But Zed's in control right now, Dave, and he's bringing Esquire over to the corner and setting him up on the top turnbuckle... Logan right up there with him- SUPERPLEX!!! Whew! I thought he was going to add fuel to the Esquire/ Hellraiser battle there with a superbrainbuster for a second... Both men lying in the middle of the ring and Danny Dickson having no choice here but to start a count: 1... 2... 3... 4... Logan getting to his feet with the help of the ropes... Helping Esquire up now... OH!!!! Low blow there by Esquire, and I don't think the ref saw it! Esquire to his feet now and pulling Zed up- Irish whip to the corner! Follows him in there slowly... Now Esquire hoisting him up on the top rope and going up there with him- is it going to be the Money Talks?!...

Dave - NO! Flips Zed down with a superplex of his own!

Rick - Zed was trying to block a superbrainbuster, so Esquire smartly went for the superplex instead, and all this moves off the top rope really have to be taking their toll on both of these men, Dave. If they keep this up, who knows how much they'll have left when it comes to their appearances at the Battle for the Crown?

Dave - I'm not sure, Rick, but it's Esquire pulling himself up now... Covering: 1... 2... Thr- NO! Zed Logan getting the shoulder up and the crowd is on its feet for him!

fans - Lo-GAN! Lo-GAN! Lo-GAN!

Dave - Zed Logan on his feet and he's getting riled up with this crowd support! Esquire takes a swing- blocked by Logan! Logan with a big right hand! Return left from Esquire- Blocked! And Logan ROCKS Esquire with another right hand! Esquire stunned! Logan off the ropes- FLATTENS Esquire with a lariat!! Zed Logan a powder keg ready to go off here!

Rick - And he's not done yet with this second wind, Dave! Pulling Esquire up off the canvas by the wrist- Twists him into a pumphandle- up and DOWN with the big pumphandle slam!!! Esquire in a whole lot of trouble here as the "Black Thunder" is on the warpath!

Dave - You're not kidding! Pulling Esquire up by the wrist again and bringing him over toward the corner... Arm wringer by Zed Logan. Zed Logan now climbing the turnbuckles and what are we going to see here?... Zed Logan- My GOD! He's walking out along the ropes like a tightrope walker while still holding on to Esquire's arm- DOWN with a big clubbing fist onto Esquire's shoulder!! Esquire down and holding onto his shoulder, and with nearly 350 pounds coming down onto that one point, there's no mystery as to why! What a MOVE that was by Logan!

Rick - You said it, Dave! We've seen Logan here in the PW for a while, but that was a new one that he pulled out his arsenal, and quite effectively I might add! The crowd here STILL can't get over a seven foot tall man tightroping the top rope like that, and to tell you the truth, I'm as shocked as anyone at the finesse and balance that required of the standard powerhouse of the "Black Thunder".

Dave - Logan once again pulling Esquire up- Irish whip to the ropes- Esquire off them- HUGE powerslam by Zed Logan! And with the cover: 1... 2... 3!!! NO!! The referee indicating to Zed that Esquire's foot was on the bottom rope!

Rick - You have to give a skilled competitor like Esquire a lot of credit for still have the presence of mind to know exactly what his ring poitioning was on that, Dave. A lot of people aren't terribly keen on Esquire unless he's going toe to toe with the more dislike Dave Carson, but no matter who he's fighting, he's one to look out for.

Dave - But that near fall seems to only have succeeded in getting Logan angrier, Rick, as he just YANKED Esquire up off the mat! Backing Esquire into the ropes now- Sends Esquire for the ride! Esquire off the ropes- Big boot- Esquire slid under it!! Esquire up in a burst- Logan spinning- connects with a boot to the gut and still spinning- over the shoulder- NO!! Esquire shoves him- JESUS!!!! SPEARED HIM FROM BEHIND!!

Rick - WOW, what a series of moves, and Esquire coming out on top of the exchange! I thought that Zed had him there with an over the shoulder jawbreaker, but Esquire shoved him away and connected with a VICIOUS spear tackle right into the spinal area of the big "Black Thunder". The big man on the mat now and I think he may be hurt, Dave... - Would it be any surprise after that move?! Esquire in control now and I'd say he has the chance to put this one away right here... Irish whip by Esquire- reversed by Logan- Esquire reverses it again! Logan slamming into the turnbuckles!! Esquire now following him in...

Rick - In there and hoisting the bigger Zed Logan up onto the top turnbuckle and following him up there! I think it's time for the Superbrainbuster, Dave! Dave Carson might have been conspicuous in his absence tonight, but you can bet he's watching this... lifting aaand THERE it is: Money Talks, that patented top rope brainbuster of his! Esquire making Danny Dickson's work REALLY easy with that move as he goes for the cover: ...1 ...2 ...3!

[The bell rings and Beethoven's 5th symphony plays... The ref raises Esquire's hand in victory, but Esquire just snatches his hand away from the grasp of the ref, looking at him threateningly and condescendingly.]

Pattera - Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner... Esquuuiiireee!!!

Dave - Zed Logan holding onto the back of his head after that move, but it's surprising that he's even still conscious, folks: that move, thought tonight may be the LAST time we see it in Esquire's repertoire, may be one of the most devastating weapons that this sport has to offer if you ask me.

Rick - You know it, Dave: dropping someone DIRECTLY on their skull from the top rope isn't exactly comfortable, no matter HOW big or strong you are! And Zed Logan, as much as the crowd is disapproving of his opponent right now, learned that the hard way! But like you said, Dave: Zed is STILL CONSCIOUS! You know what THAT means!

Dave - It means that Geeves had better get the heck out of here! And while Esquire and his goons stride back up the ramp offering NO protection to the already injured butler, Zed Logan is coming to his senses! Sliding out of the ring now is Logan and giving chase to Geeves!! Geeves limping away gingerly, and Logan gaining ground fast... he has Geeves by the back of his collar! And he's pulling him back toward the ring now!

Rick - Looks like Zed has the intention of making an example out of Geeves here tonight, despite the loss to Esquire! Rolls the butler back into the ring! Climbing in himself and Geeves trying to flee once again! Zed's nabbed him by the shirt! Yanks- OH!!! A clothesline! He just about DECAPITATED the poor man! Logan pulling Geeves up... Whips him to the turnbuckles- OH!! And Geeves hit hard! Logan moving in- My GOD! Is he going to go for the ThunderShock DDT?!?!! He'll KILL poor Geeves! Somebody stop this!

Dave - No, wait! Logan releasing the front facelock and deciding to just rough Geeves up a bit... Thank goodness for Geeves' sake... Logan now- tosses Geeves over the ropes and to the outside, and following him out there at a leisurely pace... Has Geeves by the collar again... hauling him up the ramp- tosses him over the steel rail- and right into the lap of... err... a very attractive young blonde.

Rick - Zed knew that there wasn't much challenge in fighting Geeves, Dave: What would the point have been to ThunderShock someone of his size anyway? It wouldn't have proved a single thing. It's nice to see that the big man realized that Geeves has bene through enough already.

[The shot cuts from Zed heading to the back, to Geeves with the pretty lady, to the announcer's table.]

Rick - Looks like Geeves may have found a new friend there in that pretty mademoiselle. I wonder what his boss will think of all this?

Dave - Probably not too much- I don't think he could care less about Geeves. Why the man doesn't just leave Esquire and find someone better to work for is beyond me...

Rick - But enough about that. Do you know what we have up next, Dave?

Dave - Boy, DO I! We're going to be seeing the hometown favorite, Kevin Hall, along with New Generation X's Matt Michaels taking on the OTHER man who we're seeing for the second time tonight, The "King of the Barrio Streets" himself, Rudy Rudos, who will be teaming up with a man that we've NEVER seen setting a foot in a PW ring, the man known only as the Drunkaholic! The fans have started up an Iceberg chant in anticipation of this match, so let's not have them waiting any longer and get to the match!

[The shot cuts to the ring. The bell rings.]

Pattera - This next match is a scheduled for one fall...... Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Tamara, the team of Kevin "Iceberg" Hall and "Ice Man" Matt Michaels!

[The crowd goes nuts as the pair make their entrance. They proceed down the ramp and climb into the ring...]

Pattera - And their opponents, accompanied to the ring by Scooter the cuddly panda bear, weighing in at over four hundred pounds, the team consisting of Rudy Rudos and Drunkaholic!!!

[They move down to the ring. Drunkaholic holds a bottle of beer in his hand, which he chugs down as they walk. The ever-present Scooter holds Rudos' black kendo ("pinnata") stick in his hand, resting it over his shoulder. The pair of wrestlers climb into the ring. Rudos starts yelling at his opponents, Michaels returns with some comment. Drunkaholic drifts the bottle he was drinking at him, but Michaels, reflexively, manages to sidestep it.]

Rick - JESUS! Michaels didn't like that one bit and he's charging Drunkaholic!! But Rudos cuts him off and they lock up! Looks like Matt Michaels is going to start this match against Rudy Rudos!

[The bell rings.]

*** "Iceberg" Kevin Hall and "Ice Man" Matt Michaels Vs "King of the Barrio Streets" Rudy Rudos and Drunkaholic ***

Dave - Michaels with the go-behind- Half Nelson applied by Michaels- He hooks a crossface on Rudy for some extra punishment! Matt Michaels now, SWEEPS Rudy Rudos's legs out from under him and Rudy Rudos hits the mat face first!

Rick - Matt's taking over from the start and showing Rudos some old school stylings with a twist thrown in!

Dave - Michaels with a stunned Rudy Rudos and setting him up on the top turnbuckle early!... Matt Michaels climbing the rope- he's going to try for a Superplex!! NO! Blocked by Rudos- Rudos shoves Michaels off and to the mat- WHAM!! I'm not so sure Michaels should have tried for such a big move so early in the bout...

Rick - Rudy Rudos off the turnbuckle and makes the tag: Drunkaholic is coming in. Let's see what this new wave-looking punker can really do...

Dave - Michaels back to his feet. Lock up- Matt Michaels sends Drunkaholic to the ropes! The Ice Man with the head down and he's caught with a swinging neckbreaker by Drunkaholic!

Rick - He was trying for the back bodydrop, but he really telegraphed it, Dave.

Dave - Drunkaholic getting up- Matt Michaels HAULS him down with a lunging clothesline from out of nowhere!

Rick - Drunkaholic may want to get the licence plate number on THAT truck...

Dave - Kevin Hall wants in the ring and Matt Michaels makes the tag. In comes the big man!

Rick - Hall now, with Drunkaholic by the leg- Leg drag takedown by Hall! Hall out to hurt this rookie from the looks of that move! He's probably wanting to get this one over with as quick as he can so he can get on with his Extreme Title match with Blizzard in the main event... Drunkaholic could have his hip, knee or ankle dislocated from a move like that... but Hall's pulling all the stops. Iceberg now with a waistlock applied. Straddling him- Reverse chinlock applied! Drunkaholic trying to crawl to the rope... Kevin Hall pulling back! Drunkaholic gets the fingers on the rope and Danny Dickson calling for the break! Kevin Hall lifting Drunkaholic into position for something... Up annnd Drunkaholic blocking- back body drop by Drunkaholic!

Dave - Drunkaholic drapes his arm over Hall for a cover- 1-2- Hall shoves him off! Drunkaholic's going to have to get better weight distribution than that if he wants to pin the Extreme champ... Drunkaholic up first though... Pulling Hall up- sends him to the ropes- Sleeperhold by Drunkaholic! Hall may be in trouble- NO! Hall with a back elbow just in time to knock Drunkaholic flat on his keister! But they're both up quick! Hall charging in- OH! HUGE spinebuster there by Drunkaholic!!

Rick - Drunkaholic crawling over to Hall. Front facelock applied by Drunkaholic. He's holding it, but Hall getting to his feet- A punch to the kidney by Kevin Hall and Drunkaholic releases the hold. Drunkaholic down to a knee- Hall must have really nailed that kidney blow!

Dave - Hall now on the offense and trying to pull Drunkaholic off the mat- Drunkaholic with a handful of tights sent Hall back behind him into the turnbuckle! Hall trying to get to his feet- But Drunkaholic on his feet- stomping away at Hall!! Drunkaholic now with Kevin Hall by his legs... going for the figure four- OW!! Drunkaholic decides to go for the wishbone instead! Pinning bridge combination! 1... 2... Hall reverses it! 1... 2... Kickout by Drunkaholic!

Rick - I really thought that Drunkaholic was going to have it with that one until Hall found a way to reverse it.

Dave - You have to give Hall credit: for his size, he's one of the most technically sound men stepping into the squared circle today. Both men now on their feet- Hall with the right hand- Grabbed by Drunkaholic- into a crucifix! Hall off balance- falls back onto his shoulders!

Rick - 1... 2!... Kickout by Kevin Hall!!

Dave - I thought he had him that time for SURE!

Rick - Drunkaholic started off slow, but he's been a real firecracker he for the last little bit... But despite the excruciating match against Nemisis he had in that electrified steel cage to open the night, Kevin Hall still has some fight left in him from the looks of it... Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Kevin Hall up first and helping Drunkaholic to his feet- Fireman's carry takeover by Drunkaholic! Drunkaholic taking a second to catch his breath, and you have to admit- despite his... interesting and colourful demeanor, Drunkaholic's shown some fancy technique here too...

Dave - Drunkaholic is moving back to his feet. Drunkaholic with Hall's legs... going for the figure four- NO! Hall, with that great reach of his just made it to the ropes and the referee is calling for the break. Drunkaholic though not giving Hall any room to breathe as he's just stomping away at the entire body of the big man!!

Rick - He DOES have a fair size target to work with...

Dave - Drunkaholic now with the lateral press! Danny Dickson counting- 1... 2... NO! Drunkaholic almost put this one away once again! Kevin Hall showing obvious signs of wear here, the further this one goes on.

Rick - Both men now slow to their feet., but it's Drunkaholic up first and bringing "The Iceberg" to his feet the hard way- Clothesline by Drunkaholic- NO!! Kevin Hall throws him down to the mat with a big hip toss! Drunkaholic up in a burst: Here we go with a tie up... Who's coming out on top Dave?

Dave - Well, Drunkaholic just shoved him away and now he's tattooing Hall with a series of right hands!! So I'm gonna have to say Drunkaholic, Rick. But Hall now fighting back and slugging it out with the newcomer! A hard right by Hall!

Rick - Drunkaholic doesn't want to be in a fistfight with Hall: he's smaller and shorter, even WITH that crazy foot-tall Mohawk, and if a heavyweight like Hall can land a single solid blow with 360 odd pounds behind it, this one could be over!

Dave - And I think Drunkaholic knows it too as he's backing away from Hall now and covering up... Rick - But Hall using his big reach and grabbing: He has Drunkaholic- sends him to the ropes- Sleeperhold by "The Iceberg"! Looks like Drunkaholic is off to dreamland- NO! Drunkaholic with a back elbow just in time, rocking Iceberg! Drunkaholic quick off the ropes- BULLDOGS Hall to the mat!! But just listen to those PW fans here in Kansas city cheering for Hall to get up!

Dave - They want to see the big man win match number two tonight, Rick, but if this impressive newcomer Drunkaholic has anything to say about it, Hall won't be getting past him without taking at least one loss for the night...

Rick - You may be right, Dave: I'm not quite sure what the guy's story is, but he's hot tonight and out to make a name for himself, that's for sure! That, and he's done an excellent job of cutting the Hall off from making it to his corner so that he could tag in Michaels...

Dave - You're not kidding: he's been really dominating the Extreme champ, and with no help from his partner even!! Both men now slow to their feet... But amazingly it's Kevin Hall up first and bringing Drunkaholic to his feet with his hands by that green Mohawk- Headbutt by Hall sends Drunkaholic back down to eat the canvas! Kevin Hall DROPS the elbow down into the spinal area of Drunkaholic's back!! Both men slow to their feet here... Both getting their footing around the same time, Hall using the ropes to pull himself up...

Rick - Rudy Rudos wants in the ring and Drunkaholic tags him. And it's time for the "King of the Barrio Streets" to go to work! Rushes in- FLATTENED by a clothesline from Hall!

Dave - But Rudy Rudos springing to his feet! Dropkick to the knee by Rudos! Jumps WAY up- Hurricanrana by Rudos!! He's lucky that Hall didn't catch him with a Shipwreck off that one: Don't forget that Hall isn't the only one who's already had a match here tonight, albeit I have a feeling Nemisis in an electrified steel cage was a bit tougher of a match than what Rudos dealt with in Howard... Rudos back up to his feet- Senton splash! Kevin Hall trying to get to his feet but Rudy Rudos up again and pulling him up first- Irish whip by Rudos- Reversed by Hall! Rudos off the ropes- spinning heel kick- CAUGHT IN MIDAIR- DOWN onto his spine goes Rudos!!! WOW did Hall ever catch him!

Rick - It's amazing what a size advantage the likes of what Hall has can do for him- it can sure slow opponents like Rudy Rudos down in a hurry, that much we know for sure! He really pancaked him with that one... Hall crawling his way toward Michaels for the tag..... Rudos trying to stop it- But the tag is made and here comes Michaels!! Michaels with a boot to the midsection on Rudos! Drunkaholic in the ring- FLATTENED by Michaels!! Drunkaholic up to his feet in a hurry- connects with a right- and another- NO! Blocked by Michaels! Michaels with Drunkaholic by the hair- Tosses him through the ropes RIGHT into Scooter!!! Matt Michaels cleaning house- OH!! Spoke too soon!

Dave - You're not kidding! Rudos hit him with a well-placed dropkick to slow Michaels down a bit, that's for sure! Rudos now with Michaels- MAN! What was THAT for?! Rudos already had the advantage, but went for the rake to the eyes anyway! The man is a disgrace!

Rick - I don't know, Dave: the ref didn't see it and it was timed so that Matt expected about as much as we did, so I'll have to give Rudy some credit on that one...

Dave - Hooking him now- Snap suplex by Rudos! Rudos up quick and hops over Michaels- Asai moonsault by Rudos and he nailed it!! Lateral press: 1... Kickout by Michaels! Rudos pulling the NX'er up and bringing him over to the corner... yelling at Michaels now- tags in Drunkaholic!

Rick - Double-team on Michaels as they set him up on the top turnbuckle- Drunkaholic up there- TORNADO DDT by the newcomer!! And a cover by Drunkaholic- 1... 2... Michaels with the shoulder up! Unbelievable resilience here form the "Ice Man"!

Dave - It's only to be expected: how can ANYONE forget the rigours he went through at Zero Tolerance!

Rick - I suppose you're right... But it's Drunkaholic in control of things right now and pulling Michaels up off the canvas- scoops him up and slams him down! Drunkaholic puling Michaels up again- Whips him to the ropes- But Michaels held on to them! Lunges- TAGS in the Iceberg!! Hall in there quick- flurry of punches on Drunkaholic! Drunkaholic with a return chop but it barely fazed this big redwood! OH! And Hall with a big headbutt that stunned the newcomer, Drunkaholic! The reigning Extreme Champ on the warpath- Boot to the midsection and a kneelift to the face of the doubled-over Drunkaholic sent the green-haired punk to the mat! Iceberg- CLUBS Rudy Rudos off the ring apron! Kevin Hall just tearing through everything in his sight here!

Dave - You're not kidding! Setting Drunkaholic up now- HOISTS him into a torture rack backbreaker!!! He's shaking the life out of the Drunkaholic like he's a ragdoll, folks, and I have a feeling that we're on the verge of seeing Hall and Michaels moving on to the tournament's second round! What's this?! Scooter up on the apron and climbing into the ring! The referee though heading off the attempted interference at the pass!

Rick - Matt Michaels getting into the ring quick- HO! LOOK OUT FROM BEHIND- OH!!!! Rudy Rudos just cracked that black pinata stick across Hall's ribs! WOAH!!! IceKick!! Michaels just about knocked the mask right off of Rudos with the IceKick! Rudos flat on the canvas and he may be out, folks! Drunkaholic on the canvas but hurt, and he just slid what's left of the pinata stick out of the ring while the ref is escorting Michaels back to his corner! Drunkaholic with a cover on Iceberg, but the ref is still trying to deal with Michaels!...

Dave - Turning around- 1... 2.. And I can't believe it, but Kevin Hall got the shoulder up!!

Rick - If Michaels hadn't been distracting the referee, his one would have been OVER, Dave!

Dave - Yeah, but if Scooter... Oh, never mind... Rudos finally moving a rolling out of the ring, but neither Hall nor Drunkaholic are doing much moving here right now... Scooter on the outside with Rudos trying to get the New Jersey Luchador come to his senses...

[Scooter leave Rudy Rudos for a moment, approaching one of Jansen's ringside fans...]

Scooter - ROAR!

Rick - Holy SMOKES! Scooter just grabbed a beverage from one of the fans at ringside! Bringing it over to his man- SPLASHES him in the face with it! Rudy shaking his head and trying to get the cobwebs loose, but that woke him up, that's for sure!

Dave - Back on the inside though, Hall holding onto his ribs and Drunkaholic holding onto his back... Neither man looks like they're ready for much more, folks, and you have to wonder about how Kevin Hall is going to fare now in tonight's main event for his Extreme Championship against Blizzard.

Rick - I know what you mean, Dave: I don't think that this match went quite according to plan for Hall- He should have let his partner do a lot of the work so that he could be more fresh for his title defence, but things don't always go quite as planned I guess...

Dave - If that even WAS his plan, Rick. Remember that even if he DOES lose to Blizzard tonight, that the two will be seeing each other in a rematch at Battle for the Crown. BUT if he WINS tonight against Blizzard, he has to face his own tag team PARTNER, at the Pay Per View. Losing the third match of the night might even be a good strategy.

Rick - You have a point there, Dave: I'd never thought of that. The only problem with that is that if Blizzard holds the gold, then HE'D be the one making the stipulations- don't forget that he specifically said that he had something really special in mind for Crown if he won the title tonight.

Dave - True enough... Back to the action though, Drunkaholic has finally made it to his feet, even if he is looking a little woozy... Hall up on one knee- CRIPES!! Drunkaholic just laid Kevin Hall out FLAT with a big palm thrust right to the NOSE! I don't think Hall's bleeding, but he's holding his face and is in OBVIOUS pain here!

Rick - OH! And Drunkaholic saw the opening that left him on Iceberg's ribs, and he just gave them a hefty punt! He might be nasty, but this man's putting some good thought into his offense, Dave!

Dave - I- MAN!! Drunkaholic with a vicious stomp right on the side of Hall's HEAD! The man's not just vicious and nasty, he's insane! And this is further proving it: Drunkaholic climbing to the top ropes and standing up there- swandive headbutt- OH!!! He landed it!!! Their head collided and both men lying on the mat and appear to be hurting from that move, folks! This Drunkaholic is a NUT!

Rick - A little insanity can take you far in this sport though, Dave: We've seen it time and time again with wrestlers, or more often brawlers who get that killer instinct when they flip their lid and lose all conscience and compassion for their opponents. I'm not so sure Iceberg has that, and if he plans to be the Extreme Champion for much longer in this sport, he might have a disadvantage from the starting gates because of that... Drunkaholic now with a cover! 1... 2... Hall with the shoulder up! Had Drunkaholic had the strength left to make a better cover, I think this one would have been over, Dave.

Dave - Drunkaholic getting to his feet now though and pulling Hall up by his hair... Side headlock by Drunkaholic... turning it around for the hangman's neckbreaker- WAIT! Hall swung and got out- With Drunkaholic- DOWN into an over-the-shoulder jawbreaker!! He calls that one the Freeze, folks! If Hall can make the cover, this one's over!

Rick - But the big man's been through a lot, Dave, and he can't even muster up the strength to crawl over to Drunkaholic to TRY for the pin!

Dave - Matt Michaels and Tamara both shouting words of encouragement for Hall to come around and make the tag, and Michaels is outstretched trying DESPERATELY to get a tag in on Hall... And on the other side of the ring, Rudy Rudos has regained his composure too, and is shouting not only at Drunkaholic to get up and make the tag, but he's also cursing out Michaels, Hall and Tamara while he's at it! I swear, the man never quits!

Rick - YOU swear? Just listen to the foul mouth on Rudos! He's throwing in words colourful enough to put SAILORS to shame, Dave! For our younger viewers at home, no lip-reading now...

Dave - You're not kidding! Hall struggling to his feet, but I don't think he even knows where he IS, folks... And Drunkaholic finally coming to also and crawling toward Rudos to try to get there for a tag in... I have a feeling that whoever gets the tag first might be moving on in the tournament... Dunkaholic just inches away, stretching his hand out- NO! Hauled away from his corner by Kevin Hall! And Rudos is irate!

Rick - He's hopping mad, Dave, 'cause Iceberg has Drunkaholic now- pulls him up by the seat of his pants- BLASTS him down with a clothesline to the back of the head! That's as rough a clothesline as ANYONE can deliver in the world, Dave, and Drunkaholic on the receiving end of it can't be too happy right about now.

Dave - He's getting his just desserts after some of the dirtiness that he hit Hall with moments ago, though, as Hall seems to have found a pocket of adrenaline here and is hauling Drunkaholic up again from behind! Hooks him- Release German suplex by the Extreme Champ!!! Unbelievable! Where is he finding this energy?!

Rick - And it doesn't look like he's done yet, either! Drunkaholic again somehow trying to crawl to his corner, but he's headed off by an Iceberg! Iceberg yanks him up off the mat- Kneelift to the abdomen! Hall setting him up- Powerbomb pickup -DOWNNN with the Shipwreck!

Dave - But wait a second! Drunkaholic with his hand outstretched on the way down inadvertedly tagged in Rudy Rudos, who was leaning for the tag! Rudos- springboard into a dropkick- Knocks Hall to the mat! Drunkaholic rolling to the outside and Rudy Rudos continuing on the attack with a series of stomps, focusing in on Hall's ribs!

Rick - Hall should have tagged when he had the chance! This stroke of bad luck may cost his team that match! Rudos unrelenting and stomping Hall down! Rudos now finally quitting with the boots to the ribs, but draping Hall's throat over the bottom rope now and pressing the sole of his boot down across the back of Hall's neck, choking him out! The ref calling for the break at the five count and Rudos picking his man up off the mat... With the front facelock applied- suplex- blocked by Iceberg! Tries for it again- Blocked again- Woah HO!!! Hall with a suplex of his own to counter Rudos!! The "Ice Man"'s reaching for all he's worth and the fans are on their feet!.... Hall......... MAKES THE TAG!!!! Matt Michaels in like a runaway train!

Dave - Oh MY!!! And did you hear the sound that chop across Rudos' chest made! Michaels going all out here! Backing Rudos into the ropes with backhand knife-edge chops! Michaels with the Irish whip- Reversal by Rudos- NO!!!! Michaels brought him in and hit the DDT!! Michaels with the crotch chop and the Kemper Arena is about to EXPLODE!!

crowd - SMEG OFF!!!

Rick - And the "Ice Man" Matt Michaels on a mission here as he pulls Rudos up to his feet! Michaels climbing to the top! We've seen him perform some deadly moves from up there before, what will it be this time- Woah NELLIE!!! Michaels filled to land the moonsault!! Covering! 1... 2... Th- NO!!!! How did Rudy Rudos kick out of THAT one?!?!!

Dave - I don't think ANYONE expected Rudos to last past that move, Rick: Rudy Rudos and Matt Michaels included! Michaels though not letting it get to him as he pulls Rudos off the mat... Michaels signaling to the crowd that it's over, and I doubt anyone would argue! Michaels setting him up- looks like it may be time for the Chill Factor!!! Michaels with the powerbomb pickup- NO!!!! Rudy Rudos with the Hurricanrana reversal!! Holds onto the headscissor and hooks the ankles for the cradle! 1... 2... 3!!!

[The bell rings.]

Rick - I can't believe it!! Rudy Rudos and the newcomer, Drunkaholic with the upset will be moving on in the tournament!

Dave [dodging a thrown beverage] - WOAH! And the fans here aren't too happy, from the looks of things! They're pelting the ring with trash, and Rudos and Drunkaholic being forced to dodge debris being tossed at them!

Pattera - Ladies and Gentlemen, here are your winners... the team of Drunkaholic and the "King of the Barrio Streets" Ruuudy Ruuudooos!!!

[The shot cuts to ringside, at the announcer's table.]

Dave - And as you mentioned, Rick, what an upset that the rookie Drunkaholic and the relative newcomer, Rudy Rudos have pulled off here. But Rudos had Michaels' Chill Factor well-scouted and reversed it to perfection. And Hall coming out of this one not only eliminated from the Tag Team Tournament, but also now goes to one win and one loss on the night. But the question right now is this- considering what he weathered not only in this match, but against Nemisis earlier, how much will he have left when it's time to square off against Blizzard for the title tonight?

Rick - One thing's for sure, Dave: Those ribs that Rudos took a crack at with the pinata stick are going to be pretty obvious target when he squares off against "The Extreme Icon" himself later tonight!

Dave - No doubt about it. But speaking of Hall's third match, where in the heck did Rudy Rudos run off to? He's supposed to have a match here against big Hank Albert, but he stormed off after winning the match and our cameras lost track of him... Wait... I'm told that a camera crew has found Albert backstage, so let's go to that to get some pre-match comments from him now.

[The scene changes to the backstage area, the catering area, more specifically. Bombinator is seen carrying a plate away from the table as "Obese" Hank Albert is seen piling pieces of cornbread onto an already stacked plate of mashed potatoes. We see Tommy Glide off to the side, apparently getting ready to conduct an interview.]

Dave - Hank perhaps having a little pre-match snack...

Rick - What else is new? Hey--Wait, Look out!

Dave - Rudy Rudos just snuck up and knocked the plate of food out of Albert's hands!!

Rick - He's not going to like that one, Dave...

Dave - Rudos is laughing now. I guess this one is underway!... But there's no referee back there yet! Rick - I don't think Rudos cares, Dave. "The King of the Barrio Streets" is now firing lefts and rights rapidly into the stomach of the "Obese One"!

[Both announcers laugh, though, as the rights and lefts have no affect on the big man and Rudos falls to the ground screaming obscenities about his hands.]

Dave - Well, that backfired... but Rudy better not stay down for too long or this one will be over in a matter of moments.

Rick - Rudos now trying to get back onto his feet is clotheslined onto the buffet table! Ow!

Dave - Jesus Christ! Rudos just jammed a plastic fork into the head of Hank Albert! He did it again!

[A huge mixed reaction is heard from the crowd on hand.]

Rick - Rudy, now rolling off the side of the table, is again standing as Hank Albert is wiping some of the blood from his forehead.

[Another louder yet still mixed reaction is heard from the fans.]

Dave - The two man are now separated by that table. Hey! Albert is shoving that table now. He's going to try to squish Rudos between the wall and the table!

Rick - Rudy drops to the floor just before the table! And all of its contents, and crash into the cement wall!

Dave - What a waste of food!

Rick - Big Hank must be beside himself!

Dave - Rudos crawls under the table and meets Albert with a low blow!!

Rick - Rudy's backing up now, distancing himself from the near six hundred pounder. Wait, he's charging...

Dave - A huge knee lift to the gut sends Albert reeling! He's waving his arms frantically to try and regain his balance!

Rick - Rudos with a dropkick! It sends Hank straight through the table! He may very well be in hog heaven!

Dave - "The King of the Barrio Streets" is putting the boots to his opponent, but now he's turning around... Rick - Rudos just backflipped onto Hank Albert and the table! His feet just smashed into that wall! Rudos is nuts!

[A pretty positive ovation erupts for a moment but dies again as Rudos starts kicking Albert once more.]

Dave - New Jersey's First Luchador is showing us exactly how he got his name!

Rick - Yeah, first he does a spectacular high risk move and then he finishes it up by kicking the man while he's down. He's from Jersey alright!

Dave - Rick!

Rick - Sorry... Where's Rudos going?

Dave - Rudy disappears as Hank Albert uses the wall to help him get back to his feet.

Rick - What is Albert doing?

Dave - Albert is bent over and he's reaching for that cornbread he dropped earlier. Rudos is back!

Rick - Dave, he's got the black pinnata stick and he just wrapped it around the back of Albert's skull. What the heck is he going to do?

Dave - Ace Crusher With The Stick!!!!

[The camera switches to get a shot of the crowd on its feet looking on at the action taking place backstage in shock. It then switches back to the action.]

Rick - Rudos with his arms raised is posing over the "Obese One", who is laid out in that mess of food.

Rudos - Hasta a Vista, Pigface! Dave - That too.

Rick - Dave, he's going for the cover but there's no referee.

Dave - Look, Rick, it's Danny Dickson!

[Danny Dickson sprints over to the site of the fray and gets into counting position.]

Rick - 1... 2... 3!!!

Dave - And Rudy Rudos has gone three-for-three, Rick, getting the pinfall in two straight matches! I know he's not the most likable guy on the planet, you can't help but to be impressed by this guy!

Rick - Even if he is a jerk...

[The bell rings.]

Pattera - This next match is a scheduled for one fall...... Introducing first, the team "Kamakize" Akira Takahashi...

[There's a hush over the crowd. "Halls of Illusion" by Insane Clown Posse plays and a cloaked man walks out from behind the curtains. Blindingly bright fireworks go off, and the hooded figure raises his arms, causing his cloak to drop to the ground behind him, but we can only see his dark outline from the brightness of the pyrotechnic show. The glare begins to fade as the fireworks cease.....]

Dave - Dear GOD!! It's-

Pattera - and "Ravenger" Derek Draven.... The ANGELKILLERS!!!

Dave - Derek Draven has returned to NX and the AngelKillers!! Unbelievable!

Rick - Well, rumours had been flying around more than sparks off a dragging muffler, Dave, but I don't think that after Zero Tolerance they really expected to see Rav here tonight at all! Jansen had suspected it too, but with former tag team champions to contend with, and the "bad blood" that's between Jansen and Swanson, I have a feeling that the caravan in the ringside seats may be going home from their trek disappointed, because I doubt that we're going to be seeing the impromptu Canadian team in the second round of this tag tournament.

Pattera - And their opponents, first coming down the aisle, weighing in at...

[The arena lights extinguish, and the arena roars in response. Flashbulbs spark in the crowd as anticipation grows... Now the Planet-Tron glows in the darkness, and on the big screen a swirl of gold particles dances, spins, and converges into the shape of a gold maple leaf. "Captive Heart" plays over the sound system, and the maple leaf throbs in tune with the bass... Suddenly the image bursts with a brilliant explosion, and the overhead lights turn on once more -- and Ken Jansen and Valentine now stand in the aisle in matching gold and black singlets. Jansen beams out over the audience, flashing his irritatingly cocky grin as camera flashes glint on his circular mirrored sunglasses. He clutches the infamous gold megaphone in his right hand. Beside him, Valentine shines a bright smile across the arena and hoists a cardboard placard over her head, reading: "JANSEN = ANGELKILLER KILLER". Above, the Planet-Tron shows a series of clips from Jansen's previous matches and memorable scenes from his interview videos. Together, Jansen and Valentine stride down the aisle, smirking at the mix of cheers and jeers they receive from the aisle-side spectators. Jansen raises the megaphone in the air, then brings it down toward his face.]

Jansen - Ladies and gentlemen, prepare for the most blatantly one-sided arse-kicking since the First Blood match at Throttle! Tonight, you will see two once-proud athletes go down in defeat at the hands of the greatest wrestler, bar none, in the world! I promised it, I hyped it, and now it's time to deliver. Therefore, let me introduce the only opponent who matters...

[The arena is giving him a very mixed reaction -- half boos, half cheers. The ringside cameras are picking up the frenzied hollers of Ken Jansen's groupies in the first row. Jansen and Valentine exchange a grin as they continue toward the ring.]

Jansen - Now coming down the aisle, accompanied by the beautiful, the deadly, the showstopper herself, the woman who breaks hearts and busts heads... VALENTINE!...

[The crowd gives her a cheer. At ringside, there is a "VAL-EN-TINE" chant starting up among the groupies. The shot switches briefly to a sign in the audience reading, "I WANT TO GET IN VAL'S PANTS".]

Jansen - ...Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada... Measuring six feet and weighing in at 245 pounds... He is the FUTURE of Planet Wrestling... the man who lives up to all the hype... He is the "Heartbeat of Canada", KEN JANSEN!

[Immediately, the positive response to Valentine changes to mixed, but dominantly negative, heat against Jansen. The ringside groupies are giving a "JANSEN" chant, but a nearby segment of crowd is throwing in a "SUCKS" chant to complement it. Reaching the ring, Jansen and Valentine make the circuit of the ringside area, pausing by the groupies, who stand and cheer. Smiling, the couple turns and slides into the ring. Jansen goes to a corner and climbs to the top rope, sneering out over the arena. Valentine is showing her placard to Takahashi and Draven, grinning mischievously. "Captive Heart" fades to silence.]

Jansen - If you're faint of heart, then I suggest you close your eyes right now, because there's going to be another tragic incident here in the Kemper Arena... But I promise it won't take long! [The fans are solidly booing him now, showing their disdain for his disrespectful words. Jansen ignores them. He comes down from the corner and removes his sunglasses, then hands the glasses and the megaphone to Valentine. Val slips out of the ring as Jansen stretches, an arrogant smirk on his face. "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" by Pink Floyd begins to play...]

Pattera - And his partner, making his way to the ring...

[Sean Swanson walks out, to a mix of cheers and boos. The lights dim to darkness.]

Pattera - weighing in at 235 pounds, from Vancouver, B.C., Canada, Seeeeeeaaan Swwwwwannnsoooon!!!

Dave - I can't see my hand in front of my own face!

[The lights return to normal, with Swanson now in the middle of the ring. He's removed his jacket and is already waving about a Canadian flag.]

Rick - Jansen's fans at ringside are booing Swanson MERCILESSLY, Dave! And Swanson not happy about it either! Swanson sliding outside the ring and whipping his shirt off and I think he's set to give the "Jansenites" a piece of his mind!!

Dave - And look at his ribs folks- taped heavily after that INSANE double stomp through the table that he received courtesy of his current PARTNER on Throttle! Swanson still having words with the fans are ringside- HO!!! Swanson just SPIT in the face of one of Jansen's supporters! Jansen and Valentine yelling at Sean Swanson, and Jansen turning around for some- WOAH!! Kamakize took Jansen off his feet, over the top and to the OUTSIDE with a flying spin heel kick, just as he was turning around!!!

Rick - And now Kama's rolling him back in! Swanson not even NOTICING what's going on! Ravenger Drops the knee into Jansen's face! Looks like Ravenger is going to start this match against Ken Jansen, Dave!

[The bell rings.]

*** The ANGELKILLERS Vs Ken Jansen and Sean Swanson ***

Dave - The returning Derek Draven with Jansen up off the mat in a hurry! Jansen goes spinning as Rav connects with a German uppercut! Ken Jansen STILL doesn't know what hit him, folks! Ravenger scoops him up- fall away slam!!! Ken Jansen sliding to the outside to get his bearings... Ravenger off the ropes- BASEBALL SLIDE SENDS Jansen into the steel rail!! Draven now tossing Ken back in and following him to the inside... And it's Ravenger up. He has Ken- sends him to the ropes- Sleeperhold by Ravenger! Looks like Ken Jansen is off to dreamland- NO! Ken leaned forward and hooked Draven's leg for a nice takedown! Rick - Ravenger rolling back to his corner to tag in Kamakize! The tag is made and here comes Kama to continue where his partner left off, but Jansen getting to his feet...

Dave - Takahashi right in there- Atomic Drop by Takahashi sends Ken Jansen to the ground holding his tailbone in pain!! This one has been ALL AngelKillers so far! Kamakize scraping Jansen's body off the canvas- Setting him up for a side Russian legsweep- OH! He swept Jansen FORWARD and flattened his face with it! Swanson used that on him at Throttle quite effectively, and we may see some blood in THIS match tonight if the AngelKillers keep up this breakneck pace! It's Kamakize to his feet! He's climbing the turnbuckle! Kama perched up there as Ken Jansen slowly gets to his feet.... Jansen turning around- Kamakize Kick missile dropkick by Takahashi!!!! What a maneuver!! Kama rolls on top of him! This could be it! 1... 2.. NO! Kickout by Jansen!

Rick - Kama showing a bit of ring rust there, perhaps- even after hitting his finisher, he STILL should have taken the precaution to hook the leg, and he may end up paying for it...

Dave - But Kamakize springs to his feet and going right back to work! Measuring Jansen- Falling fist- NAILS IT! Ken Jansen in a load of trouble!

Rick - Takahashi quick to his feet- Drops the elbow! Up again- down with another elbow! Up quick AGAIN- A THIRD elbow drop! Both men looking tired after that series of explosive moves... And just listen to the fans, Dave: They're just LOVING this!

Dave - The so-called "Jansenites" at ringside aren't though! And Sean Swanson's finally stopped arguing with them and has actually taken his place on the ring apron and looks ready for a tag!

Rick - And no matter how much boasting he did at Sean's expense, Ken should be tagging in Swanson at the next given opportunity, 'cause he looks hurt, Dave! Kamakize to his feet and climbing the ropes once again... Kamakize on the top! Up and- NO!! Ken rolled out of the way in lots of time! Kama never should have tried for a second high-risk move, Dave...

Dave - I'd say you're right, Rick: Jansen somehow mustered up the energy to get out of the way in time- Ken Jansen now reaching over for a pin! 1- NO! Kamakize with the easy kickout. Both men now slow to their feet... Kamakize bring Jansen up to his feet the hard way- Sends him to the ropes! Jansen running in with the clothesline- NO!! Takahashi hooks the arm- throws him down to the mat with a Japanese arm drag! Ken is moving back to his feet. Kama pushing himself to his feet too but Jansen, SOMEHOW is up first!... Ken just waiting for him... Kama up- Crossface chickenwing applied by Jansen!! Kamakize struggling... snags his foot on the bottom rope and the ref instructing Ken to break the hold... Takahashi was lucky: a move like that from a technician like Jansen could have ended this match.

Rick - "The Heartbeat of Canada" on a bit of a comeback here and has Kama by the wrist- Sends him to the ropes- Dropkick by Ken Jansen- But Kamakize grabs the ropes and puts on the breaks! Cleanly avoids the dropkick!

Dave - Smart move by Kamakize. And he'll have to be using his head against Jansen, who as we've seen, is quite the technician. Kama moves in- Jansen to his knees- Takes Kama to the mat with a fireman's carry! Ken Jansen crawling over to Kama... Front facelock applied by Ken. He's holding it, but Kamakize getting to his feet- A punch to the ribs by Kamakize and Jansen releases the hold. Jansen's down quick, but getting back to his feet... Kama charging- Ken Jansen picks him up- tilt-o-whirl slam!! Where in God's name did THAT come from?!

Rick - I don't know, Dave, but Ken Jansen had better swallow his pride soon nonetheless and tag in his so-called partner, or he's toast!

Dave - It looks like he's staying in for now though... Ken Jansen off the ropes- drops down on him with the big elbow. Ken Jansen rolls Takahashi onto his stomach- Folds his legs up- STF there by Ken Jansen!

Rick - Nice work there by Ken Jansen! But Kamakize with a hand free- GRABS that bottom rope and the hold is broken! Jansen's obviously tired out and losing his edge, Dave: I have a feeling that if he was 100% in there, that we'd have seen that hold applied in the dead center of the ring and that the AngelKillers might have been eliminated here tonight!

Dave - You may be right, Rick, but Jansen still isn't getting the hint as he takes the opportunity while Kama's getting up to point at that golden maple leaf on his tights! This NX-favouring crowd not reacting very nicely at all toward the arrogant Canadian!

Rick - And Jansen doesn't look happy with them either, as they're rallying against the "Heartbeat of Canada" with a "Jansen Sucks" chant! Ken standing on the bottom rope and yelling out at the fans, and he should be keeping his eye of Akira, Dave: Remember what happened LAST time he ignored the man!

Dave - And here it comes again! Kama up- leaps to the top turnbuckle- DIVES- OH!!!!!!

Rick - Dear GOD!!! Kamakize just about turned Ken INSIDE OUT with a suicidal FLYING SHOULDERBLOCK off the top rope!! Kama's on the outside and Ken's laid out in the middle of the ring, and he looks like he just got hit by a TRUCK, Dave!

Dave - You're right, Rick: I have a feeling that Jansen's mind isn't in Kansas anymore...

Rick - Cripes: With the impact that Kama hit him with, he's lucky his ENTIRE BODY didn't fly clear of the city too! But Kama with that EXTREMELY high risk maneuver is paying the price on the outside as Markus Draknor helping him to his feet... But Jansen on the inside DESPERATELY needs to make a tag whether he likes it or not! Dave - But the man's barely moving, Rick. And though on the outside Kama's looking like he may have hurt his shoulder, I'd say all he needs to do is get in there and make the cover to end this one and move onto the second round!

Rick - But look at this! Valentine yelling in to Jansen with the megaphone, Swanson stretching over to be tagged in and would you believe that Ken Jansen is actually stirring?!

Dave - But Takahashi up on the apron and through the ropes- DRAGGING Jansen by the ankles now toward the AngelKiller corner! Still with the ankles- Takahashi sitting into a Boston crab!! And just look at the expression of pure pain on the face of Ken Jansen! Jansen howling out, but he's not giving up yet!

Rick - He might soon, though, Dave! He can't possibly hold on for much longer- And Swanson sees it too and he's charging in, but he's being led back to his corner by the referee! Kama releasing an ankle for a half crab and tags in Ravenger loudly with his free hand! Ravenger in and Kama still with the crab on- OH!! Rav dropped the leg across the back of Jansen's neck! That's GOTTA' hurt!

Dave - You're not kidding, Rick! Ravenger now crouching and with a series of closed fists that he's connecting all OVER Jansen's body with! The referee finally getting Swanson out of the ring and seeing what's going on, but Ravenger already pulling Jansen up and tagging Kamakize back in! Rav hooking Jansen and so is Kama- DOUBLE DDT on Jansen! Kama with a cover! Swanson charging in again- 1... 2... But referee Adam Kent pointing at the bottom rope to show that Jansen's foot was on it before the three count! Jansen avoiding elimination by a WHISKER here!

Dave - Swanson wasn't able to make the save for the makeshift team either, as he was flattened by Draven with a running clothesline a moment ago...

Rick - But Kamakize not stopping the assault on the "Heartbeat of Canada" yet as he pulls the battered Canadian off the mat and sends him for the ride- OH! With Jansen by the throat! SLAMS him down with the Soviet suplex!!! The crowd is on its feet and yelling as Kama covering- Kent not counting- DEAR Lord!!!! What the heck is going on?!!

Dave - I'm not sure, Rick, but Jansen must have made a blind tag to Swanson, and Swanson took the opportunity to scale the ropes and crack skulls with the flying headbutt on Takahashi!

Rick - Apparently so, Dave, which must have been why Kent wasn't making the count and why the fans were out of their seats and trying to warn Kama of what he was about to suffer- my eyes were glued on the cover and I honestly didn't see the tag OR Swanson coming until it was too late!

Dave - Nor did I, Rick. But while we wait for Swanson and Kamakize to get up, let's see the replay from another angle. [The shot cuts to a replay, where as he makes contact with the ropes we see Jansen's hand slaps up against Swanson, perhaps inadvertedly. The ref points over to him, declaring that it's a tag. Sean looks a bit disgusted, but climbs the ropes and executes the diving headbutt, his forehead colliding with the back of Swanson's head.]

Dave - There you have it folks.

Rick - Good call on that blind tag. But Ken Jansen now, has rolled to the outside to be attended to by the lovely Valentine, and Sean Swanson, a little shaken himself after that last move, is shaking the cobwebs loose... Now going to work on Kamakize! Scoops him up, and slams him down!

Dave - Ken Jansen back up on the ring apron, but he's not looking in the best of shape right now...

Rick - Swanson though on the inside pulling Takahashi up by his hair- Kneelift to the face by Swanson! And another! Swanson now with a headscissor- Slaps Jansen in the chest! The referee calling this a tag folks, but Ken Jansen is HARDLY looking like he's ready to get back into this one!

Dave - Sean Swanson perhaps wanting for his partner to put his money where his mouth is and win this match by himself! And Jansen sluggishly climbing to the top- Swanson hauls Kamakize up for a piledriver- And Jansen SPIKES the AngelKiller into the canvas! For these two having the problems that they are, we just saw a great move pulled off by the pair! maybe we'll see them getting along afterall!

[Jansen and Swanson are both on their feet now and Jansen gives Swanson a hearty shove, then they start yelling at each other as Jansen points at the gold maple leaf on his tights.]

Rick - Well, scratch that idea, Dave. I have a feeling that we're pretty far from seeing any sort of friendship blossoming between these two Cannuckleheads anytime soon. Swanson taking his place on the apron, but Jansen still having words with him instead of going for the cover- hooked from behind and rolled up by Kama! 1... 2... OH! Jansen straightened up for the kickout, but was almost caught offguard by the AngelKiller that time!

Dave - Jansen had better keep his cool in there and put his differences with Sean Swanson aside if that team is to have any chance of moving on whatsoever to the second round... Jansen and Takahashi circling here, and neither of them are at 100% right now, after what Jansen's suffered and the spiked piledriver that was inflicted upon Akira Takahashi just moments ago... Stare down- they lock up! Jansen coming out on top- hooks the arms for the backslide! 1... Kickout by Kama! Both men up to their feet and locking up again!

Rick - Kama may not be wanting to go on this route again! He's smaller than Jansen and Ken seems to have a better technical background too, so it's all around bad for Akira to be getting into this... Dave - You're not kidding! Jansen takes him over with a suplex- NO! Kama dropped on his feet behind him! Jansen turns- but he's caught in the ribs with a sidekick! And another from the other foot! Kama spins- Connects with the roundhouse kick! Jansen with another opponent with a highly contrasting style tonight, and he's not faring too well at all right now!

Rick - And Kama pulling Akira off the canvas- Whips him to the turnbuckles! Following him in there and stomping away at the "Heartbeat of Canada"! Kama with the crotch chop!

crowd - SMEG OFF!!

Dave - Kamakize making his way to the opposite corner- charging in- Akira Takahashi with the bronco buster!!! The crowd is on its feet for the AngelKillers and cheering Kamakize on! Kama up and pulling Jansen up with him, bringing him over to his corner- tags in Draven! Double team here on Jansen- Double snap suplex!

Rick - And Ravenger taking over now right where his partner left off- Woah! With a chokehold on Jansen! A bit uncharacteristic here form the AngelKiller, but maybe he HAS changed a bit since Livewire put him on the shelf for a while! Referee calling for the break and Jansen holding his throat trying to catch his breath... Derek Draven on his feet- DOWN with the quick legdrop! Covering- 1... 2... Jansen with his foot on the rope and Adam Kent pointing this fact out to Rav before he gets too carried away... Ravenger tagging Kama back in now- each of them grabbing an ankle of Jansen's- Wake a wish- OH!!! It's move like that give a whole new meaning to the words "groin pull".

Dave - And Ravenger making his exit, but Valentine up on the apron and yelling at Adam Kent about that last move! OH!!! And Ken Jansen with a low blow uppercut on the inside! Jansen making his way over to his corner, and Swanson just standing there... Jansen slaps Swanson's hand! The reluctant tag is made and Sean Swanson slowly into the ring toward the obviously hurting Akira Takahashi- Hits him with a stomp! And another! Swanson using the top rope for leverage and he's kicking away at Kamakize who's in a bit of a tight spot here...- Sean now... spending quite a bit of time measuring him up. Falling fist to the chest of Takahashi! That'll wake ya' up! Sean Swanson is up now on top of Takahashi- he's all over him with a series of closed fists and forearms! Takahashi tries desperately to get to the ropes, but it's no use! Sean covering: 1- NO! Takahashi with hit foot on the ropes, finally. Sean and Kamakize both getting their footing- Takahashi off the ropes- Drop toehold by Sean Swanson! Sean now applying a reverse chin lock on Kama trying to wear him down. Swanson really leaning on Kama so that he's carrying all the weight. Kamakize now struggling free... Kamakize shaking it off...

Dave - But it's Swanson still on the attack with the scoop and the slam! Sean Swanson making the tag, Ken Jansen is limping in... With Takahashi by the legs- Scorpion Deathlock applied- turns it over!!! This could be it! Sean Swanson ADDING to the damage with a series of stomps to the back of Akira Takahashi, but Adam Kent now telling Jansen to break the hold because of it! Jansen still holding it at Kent threatening to disqualify the team! Jansen finally releasing the hold, and having words now with Adam Kent, pointing at his golden maple leaf insignia, yelling pretty violently at the referee! He'd better watch it, or he really WILL get his team disqualified!!

Rick - And he had better watch his beck too, because Kama's getting his footing back- Ken Jansen sees him though! Off the ropes- Drop toehold by Kamakize! And it's Kamakize springing to his feet! Back down with a senton splash on Ken! Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Kama up first and bringing Jansen to his feet the hard way- OH!! What a short clothesline by Takahashi!! Kama with Jansen now.... Setting him up... What are we going to see here?... My GOD!! He planted him with a tombstone piledriver! Jansen down , but Takahashi looking a little worn too.

Dave - Maybe he's already expended too much of his energy.

Rick - Don't count Takahashi out yet... See? He's getting up already. Let's hope that he has some fire left. Lock up- Kama sends Ken to the ropes! Off the ropes- back bodydrop by Kamakize!

Dave - Ken Jansen trying to push himself to his feet.. Kamakize just waiting for him... Ken up- Sleeperhold applied by Kamakize! And it looks like the "Heartbeat of Canada" is off to dreamland! NO! Ken Jansen managed to hook a leg and put Kama on his back- Ken bridging! 1... 2... Akira had to release the hold or be pinned there, but the escape was all Jansen intended on that one, more than likely. Takahashi hops to his feet. What agility! Kama pulling Jansen up- Ken hooks him down into a small package! 1... 2... reversal by Kama! 1... 2... Jansen rolls it over again! OH! They're tangled in the ropes... Adam Kent calling for a break. Both men are down and look absolutely exhausted! The referee is starting the 10-count: 1..2..3...4...5...6..Sev- Kamakize finally up to his feet first!

Rick - Kama now rolling under the ropes and to the outside and Jansen's in pursuit! Ken Jansen charging- OH!! Kamakize dodged and Jansen hit the post! Kamakize now rolling Ken Jansen back in and following suit... Here we go with a quick tie up... Who's coming out on top Dave?

Dave - No doubt about this one Rick: Takahashi shoved Jansen away and now is just BLISTERING Ken Jansen with a barrage of chops, kicks and punches, and Jansen not doing well at all in defending against this assault- OH!! Looks like I spoke too soon! Ken Jansen with a rake to the eyes on Kamakize stopped the AngelKiller right in his tracks! Jansen now- double-leg takedown! Holds the legs and flips into a bridge: 1... 2... Kickout by Takahashi!

Rick - Jansen coming so very close! Dave - But Kamakize still has some fight left in- I think the he was merely caught offguard. Ken Jansen and Takahashi both getting their footing- Takahashi off the ropes- Drop toehold by Ken Jansen! Kamakize trying to get to his feet- But Ken drags him right back down! Kama moving in- Ken hits the Panic Breaker!!

Rick - He uses that to set his opponents up for the kill, and he looks like he's going for it... over to his corner- Hold up! Sean Swanson just slapped Jansen on the hand and tagged himself in! HE wants to take credit for this one! Ken Jansen just can't believe it, and is arguing with Swanson, but Sean just shoving past Jansen- Charges Ravenger- Knocks him off the apron! Sean Swanson now pulling Kama off the mat and setting him up- snap-back suplex- Woah DOCTOR!!! Ken Jansen got in there are performed a SECOND Panic Breaker on Kamakize while Sean was in mid move on the snap-back suplex!!! What an INCREDIBLE MOVE!!!! As much as the majority of the fans are booing them here in the Kemper arena, these two are somehow finding a way to perform some spectacular holds, and that one may have finished it off! Jansen playing to his fans at ringside, posing and pointing at his maple leaf logo! Swanson up and spins him around, arguing with Jansen about using the Panic Breaker again and trying to steal his spotlight or something... Adam Kent ushering Jansen through the ropes and Sean FINALLY with a cover, and this could be it! 1... 2!... OH!!!! The save from Ravenger!

Dave - I think that Takahashi might have gotten a shoulder on that anyway, Rick, but either way, this match is still on!

Rick - And Swanson can't believe it!!

Dave - It's his own fault though! Had he covered Kamakize right away instead of yapping with Jansen while he was being escorted to the outside, Ravenger would NEVER have had the time to get back up on the apron and into the ring, and I can only speculate that Akira Takahashi may not have been able to kick out!

Rick - True enough... Swanson though pulling Kama's battered body up off the mat once again... Whips hip to the corner- NO! 180 reversal by Kamakize sends Swanson into the AngelKiller corner! Ravenger holding Swanson from behind by the waist of his jeans and he's stuck there, and the ref doesn't see it! Kama rushing in- WOAH! He just about Knocked Sean's block off with a superkick! Sean had nowhere to run, folks! Kama- TAG made to Ravenger!!

Dave - They send Swanson for the ride- Double back elbow takes Swanson off his feet! OH! Combination Senton splash and legdrop there by the AngelKillers! What a difference in the cohesiveness of this team in comparison to the Swanson/ Jansen team... Ravenger now the legal man and in control of things- Irish whip to the ropes- A reversal by Swanson sending Draven toward Jansen, who's talking to his fans- OH!!!! Jansen went FLYING off the apron and into the steel rail!! Swanson- Flattens Draven with the big boot! Jansen on the outside and being attended to by Valentine, and I have a feeling that Sean Swanson, on the inside, doesn't care one bit- Pulling Draven up now- rapid-fire rights to the face of Draven, but Draven caught him on the fourth- Whips him over into a backslide! 1!... 2!... NO!! And Swanson barely made it out!

Rick - Both Swanson and Rav getting to their feet now- Swanson in with a boot to the midsection! Big sledgehammer forearm puts Rave down to his knees! Swanson pulling the AngelKiller up off the canvas- Swanson with him up in a vertical suplex and holding him there for a second- DOWN to the mat! Swanson now pulling Ravenger up again and toward his corner, where Ken Jansen's made it back up on the apron, and is yelling something at Sean...

Dave - I think he's letting Swanson have it about hitting into him and sending him to the rail, Rick, but I'm not entirely sure... But Swanson just ignoring him- Shoves Draven at him! And Jansen holding onto Ravenger! Derek Draven being held by Jansen as an open target for Swanson! Swanson winds up for a haymaker- OH DEAR!!!! He NAILED HIS OWN PARTNER AGAIN!!! Derek Draven got loose and Swanson BLASTED Ken Jansen off the apron and to the floor! And Ravenger- with about to the midsection- CAUGHT by Swanson- WOAH!! Ravenger flipped into an insuguiri and sent Swanson sinning to the mat like a tornado! Derek Draven now with Swanson by the wrist and dragging him over to his own corner.... Swanson face down and may be out after that LETHAL kick by Draven...

Rick - And the tag is made to Kamakize! Kamakize leaps to the top rope- SPRINGBOARDS into a legdrop across Swanson's back!! And Ravenger connected with a falling fist to the back of Swanson's neck at the same time! The AngelKillers back in the driver's seat and a quick tag in by Kama, bringing Ravenger back in! Ravenger on the second rope- Drops the elbow! And Kama giving a healthy stomp to Swanson as he exits. Derek Draven dragging Swanson by the wrist again, this time away from the ropes... Folds up his legs now- STF applied by Ravenger! Adam Kent right there on the mat to look to see if Swanson wants to give, but Swanson gritting his teeth and spitting out a big "NO"! OH! Broken up by a stomp form Jansen! Jansen being pulled back to his corner now and Kama taking the opportunity to make his way in- Pulling Swanson up- sending him for the ride- Double back bodydrop by the AngelKillers!!

Dave - This is the kind of cohesion that could take them a long way in the tag team tournament, Rick. They may have looked a touch rusty at the beginning of the bout, but the AngelKillers now functioning as if they still are the PW Tag Team Champions, and though they may not yet be at 100%, you can bet that they have their eyes on the prize, folks.

Rick - No doubt about it, Dave: Akira leaving the ring just as Adam Kent turning around, and that the tag team experience advantage that they have over this and all the other teams enlisted in this tourney. And as Rav delivers the atomic drop on Swanson, I'd have to say that if they can keep these kind of team mechanics up, that it won't be too long before they're going head to head with Hellraiser and Livewire once again!

Dave - You're not kidding! Ravenger with Swanson up again- Irish whip into the corner! Follows him in there and Draven scaling to the second rope- raising his fist in the air! Punching Swanson!!

crowd - 1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9! 10!

Rick - And Sean Swanson dropping to the mat like a ton of bricks! But Ravenger not done yet!! Pulling him up off the mat and bringing him toward the center of the ring! Ravenger now with Swanson in a standing headscissor- Hooks both arms- DRIVES him face-first into the mat! Swanson not faring well here at ALL and the crowd is going berserk!!!

Dave - Ravenger quickly makes the tag and Kamakize running the length of the apron and climbing to the top rope, while Draven scales the turnbuckles on the other side! Ken Jansen though trying to throw Kama off balance by shaking the ropes violently!!

Rick - But Kama's still up there, Dave! What incredible balance he must have!!

Dave - Adam Kent warning Jansen to stop that and Jansen backing off as Kama tries desperately to regain his balance on the top- UH-oh! Take a look at this! Through the crowd it's Nemisis and the Canadian Crippler!! This might mean trouble for Swanson, or even the AngelKillers! On the inside- Derek Draven up annnd DOWN with the flying elbow drop!! And he sees the PAIN duo at ringside and is sliding out to intercept them! Draven- FLATTENS the Canadian Crippler with the Ravenger kick!! From behind though, Nemisis grabbing the AngelKiller- just TOSSES him into the steel steps! Draknor on the apron and telling the ref to get things under control and Adam Kent telling Nemisis and Crippler to get the heck out of here! And on the inside Kama getting his footing DESPITE Jansen back to shaking that rope like a madman while Kent's back is turned!

Rick - OH NO! Look at this! Dehumanizer out of the crowd on Kama's side of the ring and the ref doesn't see him! Dehumanizer up on the apron!! NAILS Kama from behind- OH!!! And Takahashi couldn't maintain his balance after THAT heavy blow, and he just landed split-legged across the top rope!!! Falling inside the ring now... Sean Swanson slowly crawling over to the injured Kamakize and puts his arm across him!... Jansen, and Valentine with her megaphone yelling at the ref to turn around! No!!! Adam Kent turning! Counts: 1... 2... 3! NO!!!!!!!!

[The bell rings.]

Dave - The AngelKillers were absolutely ROBBED here folks! It took the PAIN on the outside running interference and taking Draven out of the picture, just long enough for Dehumanizer to get his grimey mitts on Takahashi for the outside interference that was just enough to cost the AngelKillers the match! This has been a TRAVESTY, ladies and gentlemen, there's no better word for it!

Rick - No doubt about it, Dave: The AngelKillers had Swanson right where they wanted him and were moments away from putting the match away, until the PAIN members, who had NO BUSINESS being here, decided to get involved!

Pattera - Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner... Keeen Jaaanseeen and Seeaaan Swaaaaaaansooon!!!

Dave - Nonetheless, it's Swanson and Jansen with the MAJOR upset and moving on to the second round with this TRULY tainted victory!

Rick - And it doesn't look like it's over yet! Crippler and Nemisis on the outside just picked Ravenger up after beating him around a little, and tossed him over the rail into the crowd, and now they're converging on Kama, along with their diabolical leader, the Dehumanizer! Stomping away at Kamakize!! Now pulling him up off the mat and throwing him over the ropes and to the outside!

Dave - This Pain Foundation involvement has gotten out of hand, Rick!... But what interest does PAIN have in taking out the AngelKillers? Or was this backup for Jansen or Swanson, and not just a strike against Takahashi and his partner? And if it WAS backup, then exactly what IS the association between PAIN and either of these men?

Rick - Look at this, Dave- Jansen's waving at the Pain Foundation, and jabbing a finger at Swanson. He's shouting for PAIN to attack Sean Swanson! They must be here on Jansen's behalf!

Dave - But Swanson, finally returning to his senses doing the same thing, signaling the Pain Foundation to attack Jansen. What the hell is going on here? Is PAIN with Ken, or are they with Sean?

Rick - Hold on now, Jansen just noticed Swanson- Sean turns and sees Ken- I think they just realized they both had the same idea. Uh oh, I think sparks are going to fly here!

Dave - As if they haven't been already. But I have a strange feeling about this; how can it be that both men planned to have PAIN attack each other? Didn't they KNOW about each other's connection to the Pain Foundation?

Rick - HELLO! Jansen and Swanson throwing fists now in the middle of the ring! This team that's been holding on by a thread has completely disintegrated! It's got to be incredibly frustrating for these men to discover that they're BOTH connected to the same stable! Dehumanizer, Canadian Crippler and Nemisis are starting to enter the ring now, and Dehumanizer's got a mic in his hand. Maybe he can shed some light on this very unusual situation.

Dehumanizer - Jansen! Swanson! Enough! Back away!

Dave - Crippler and Nemisis are now interjecting themselves between Jansen and Swanson... They're holding those two apart by sheer strength alone. You can SEE the animosity in the air!

Dehumanizer - Ken Jansen and Sean Swanson, it is my pleasure to announce that you have both become the newest members of the Pain Foundation!

Rick - Oh boy, the fans aren't liking this... Even Jansen's groupies look a bit upset.

Dave - Swanson and Jansen don't like it either! They're giving each other an evil look... They hated being tag partners, can you imagine how they feel being stablemates?

Dehumanizer - PAIN is stronger than ever now! However, I knew that neither of you would have joined the Pain Foundation if you had known that the other was also joining. It was obvious at Throttle that the two of you would rather kill each other than work together. That is why I did not tell you about each other. It is also the reason why I secretly signed you up together as a tag team in the top contendership tournament. I anticipated problems between you, so I arranged to give you an opportunity to learn to get along. The Pain Foundation needs solid teamwork among its members, and I can see my tactics paid off- together, you have earned the right to move on in the tournament!

Rick - Whoa! Jansen's practically throwing a fit! Swanson can't believe his ears! Valentine has just slid into the ring, and her jaw is hanging open in shock at this. It was Dehumanizer the whole time!

Dave - Up to now, they suspected everybody from each other to Smokin' John Hayes to Kristoph Kahn as being responsible for signing them together... But I guess the mystery is solved, and there was obviously a deeper story to this than we thought!

Dehumanizer - Swanson, Jansen, now is the time to bury the past and grasp the success that lies ahead. With the Pain Foundation behind you, nothing will be out of reach! So banish your hatred and shake hands as teammates.

Rick - Well, Jansen and Swanson look a bit dubious about that last statement, but it looks like they may be ready to put the needs of the group ahead of their own rivalry.

Dave - Swanson extends his hand... Jansen stares at him suspiciously... Ken finally reaching out and shaking Sean's hand. I guess they CAN coexist after all.

Rick - Yeah, who knew? I guess if Dehumanizer can act as mediator, he can keep the whole thing from falling apart- NO! Ken Jansen just used the handshake grip to pull Sean Swanson into a vicious elbow to the jaw! Swanson is staggered from that surprise shot! Jansen now laying into him with lefts and rights!

Dave - I was wrong- these guys can't POSSIBLY coexist! But now Dehumanizer, Nemisis and Crippler are intervening, pulling them apart... WAIT! Nemisis with a grip on Jansen's throat! CHOKESLAM! Why did he do that?!

Rick - Nemisis must have done it as retaliation on Swanson's behalf! We know Nemisis and Swanson have drifted apart in past weeks, but there's enough of a bond left for Nemisis to react this way! Dehumanizer is scolding Nemisis... And behind him, Crippler just drove a knee into Swanson's kidneys!

Dave - Crippler and Swanson are scheduled to meet at the PPV in a ladder match- Crippler obviously trying to do some preliminary damage here... But WHY? They're STABLEMATES, for God's sake!

Rick - Crippler is all over Swanson, just kicking the hell out of those ribs... Meanwhile Nemisis is standing over Jansen, who's woozy from that chokeslam... Wait- Valentine from behind- LOW BLOW with the megaphone! I don't care HOW tough Nemisis is, he FELT that! But he has the faculties to realize who did it, and now he's lumbering after Valentine, clutching his groin! She's hightailing it out of the ring, and Nemisis is right behind her!

Dave - Dehumanizer is going ballistic, Rick- this is all falling apart on him! And really, he should've seen this coming! How can these men work together when they all HATE each other?

Rick - I'd have to say this has turned into a real disaster for the Pain Foundation! Ken Jansen is now back on his feet, and he jumps out of the ring and starts chasing Nemisis up the ramp... Crippler and Swanson are in the corner, brawling like madmen... Dehumanizer is practically pulling his hair out! He scrambles on the mat to retrieve his microphone-

Dehumanizer - No! Crippler! Swanson! You must STOP-

[Thunk!]

Dave - Sean accidentally knocked the mic out of Dehumanizer's hand after being thrown out of the corner by Crippler. This is incredible, Rick!

Rick - Well, we finally have security coming to the ring to break up these two... Jansen, Nemisis and Valentine have already gone to the back, and God only knows what kind of carnage they're creating there! [Pauses] We have confirmation from the backstage area that security has indeed separated Nemisis from Ken Jansen and Valentine. And out here, Crippler is being forced out of the ring by security- but he's not going quietly! Dehumanizer is exiting after them, and he's warning Sean Swanson not to start another brawl.

Dave - Usually we see this kind of in-fighting when a stable's about to break up... But the new Pain Foundation has only just been formed! Rick - I don't know about you, Dave, but I don't think PAIN is going to last through the PPV... Especially since all of these guys are competing in the "Battle for the Crown" gauntlet match! They're pretty much being given the green light to go ahead and beat each other's brains in!

Dave - I think you're right. How can they hope to be a unified force when they're constantly at each other's throats? Dehumanizer has his work cut out for him in trying to keep this group together.

Rick - While we're at it, we should ask WHY Sean Swanson and Ken Jansen would join the Pain Foundation under these circumstances. We saw them both trying to call for an attack on each other; you don't suppose they both joined PAIN purely to have the other man beaten down?

Dave - If so, then their plan didn't work! And now Sean and Ken are stuck with each other!

Rick - Whew. Well, at any rate, we've cleared out this battle zone... But we're going to be moving straight into another after this commercial break, when Blizzard tries to reclaim the Extreme Title from Kevin "Iceberg" Hall in extreme action!!

Dave - What a mess...

[The shot cuts to a commercial for Easter cream eggs with that clucking rabbit, followed by a commercial for subscriptions to PW Magazine. The commercials end and cut back to the program.]

Dave - We're back folks! And what a match we have for tonight's PW Shockwave main event! We're out of commercial breaks, so we're going to be with this one for the duration, ladies and gentlemen! I can hardly hear myself think, the crowd is totally going wild in the Kemper Arena as things are getting under way! Tonight has been a great night for PW action. It is now time for our Main Event. It will be for the PW Extreme Title as "Iceberg" Kevin Hall, who as already wrestled a match tonight takes on the "Extreme ICON", Blizzard!

Rick- This match tonight might be the most difficult match for Hall in the PW so far: He worked hard to win that title, but he has yet to face anyone like Blizzard. He did however, get a great look at Blizzard as he saw Blizzard defeat the "Ice Man" Matt Michaels.

[Screen shows Blizzard power bombing Michaels out of the ring and through a table.]

Dave- You are right Rick: There was nothing Hall could do to save Michaels. Tonight he has already wrestled a great match against Nemisis, and though he walked away with a victory, can't possibly be at 100% going into this match.

Rick- But what about the stipulation Iceberg has decided on for this one? What a doozie!

Dave- Yes, we were informed that Hall has decided that this will be an Extreme Indian Strap match, a first for the PW! In this match, both men will be tied together at the wrist via a length of rope and the winner can only claim victory by pinfall or submission!

Rick- And Dave, that might just have been the best pick that Iceberg could have made: For all the stipulations that Blizzard has fought though in the E-WCW and earlier in his career, I don't think we have EVER seen Blizzard in a match where he was tied to his opponent. He might be at a true disadvantage for the first time in a while...

Dave- We'll find out in a few minutes: Let's get to Jim Pattera to get this one started!

[The shot cuts to the ring, where Jim Pattera stands.]

Pattera - Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for tonight's PW Shockwave MAIN EVENT!!... This next match is an a Extreme Bullrope Match scheduled for one fall and it is for the PW Extreme Title......

["Thunderkiss 65" by White Zombie starts to play "Blizzard" chants start in the crowd.]

Pattera - Introducing first, the challenger, from Denver, Colorado, Bliiizzaaard!!!

[The chants over power the announcement as Blizzard makes his way to the ring. He climbs in the ring and stands in a corner with his arms crossed as the crowd cheers on. White Zombie cuts and "The Kids Aren't All Right" by the Offspring starts to play... The crowd is still on its feet for Kevin Hall, but have turned into a frenzy.]

Pattera - And his opponent, from Kansas City, MO, [The crowd's reaction comes to a fever pitch] Followed to the ring by Shakkal, introducing the PW Extreme Champion "Iceberg" Keeeviiin Haaall!!!

[The chants overpower the announcement as Kevin Hall walks to the ring shakes hands, gives fives, signs autographs, all the while watching his Blizzard... although he seems a little beaten from his match against Nemisis. Hall gets in the ring and leans on the ringpost and watches Blizzard, smiling despite his lumps, before the ref secures the rope on their wrists.]

Rick - The ref has secured the rope around their wrists Blizzard and Hall have walked to the middle of the ring. Kevin Hall is taking over from the start. HO! Kevin Hall just SLAPPED Blizzard right in the kisser!

Dave - Talk about an insult!

Rick - Blizzard had better be on his toes: Kevin Hall's just trying to throw him off his game early...

[The bell rings.]

*** Kevin "Iceberg" Hall vs. Blizzard ***

Dave - Hall sends him stumbling with a thunderous blow to the side of the head!! Thrust kick by Blizzard- Hall caught it! Insuguiri- ducked by Hall! Still with the foot- grabs the other- Scorpion deathlock! But Blizzard has the ropes and Danny Dickson calling for a clean break... Blizzard getting to his feet- Kevin Hall has him. Bringing him to the corner- Slamming his face into the turnbuckle! 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10!!!! And Blizzard goes back down! Kevin Hall right in there with a shoulder block sending Blizzard to the mat. Blizzard seems to have been a little caught off guard so far...

Rick - And just listen to the fans, Dave: They're just LOVING this!

Dave - How can you BLAME them Rick? Kevin Hall is the hometown favorite! OH!! Hall now, choking Blizzard with the bullrope! There is no DQ so the ref is asking Blizzard if he gives up. Blizzard is shaking his head. Hall releasing Blizzard and crawling over for the cover... : 1- No, Blizzard just rolls him off. Hall picks up Blizzard and.....OOHH!! Blizzard with a low blow. Both men are down, but it's Blizzard getting to his feet and Hall is on the mat and obviously in pain... Blizzard picks up Hall and nails the belly to belly suplex!! Blizzard with a cover 1... 2... NO! Blizzard with Hall up now... whips him into the corner! Blizzard follows in- nails him with a running clothesline!! Hall is down.

Rick- UH OH!! Blizzard is going to second rope. He leaps. NO!! Blizzard missed the splash! Hall is pulling himself to his feet. He starts stomping away and Blizzard. OH NO!! Hall has the rope in his hand. OHH!! He is whipping Blizzard with the rope! Blizzard is hurting, but is getting to his feet... Hall- YANKS on the rope and nails Blizzard with a lariat! Blizzard is getting to his feet again. Hall reels him in again.... clothesline...NO!! Blizzard ducked it! Kick to the midsection by Blizzard! DDT!!!

Dave- What a move by Blizzard to turn things around!! And it's Blizzard using the ropes to pull himself up now... Off the ropes- DOWN with the elbow drop! Hall needs to make a comeback of his own now... Both men are down and look absolutely exhausted! The referee is starting the 10-count: 1..2..3...4...5...6..Sev- Kevin Hall finally up to his feet first! Blizzard lunging off the mat toward Hall and knocking him off his feet with a flying forarm!! Desperation maneuver by Blizzard to stay on top of things...

Rick - Blizzard rolls over on top of him! Danny Dickson counting- 1... 2... NO! Blizzard almost put this one away, Dave... Blizzard is up on top of Kevin Hall- he has him by the head and is headbutting him over and over again! I'm not sure WHO is taking the brunt of this one! Blizzard to his feet and measuring Iceberg- Falling fist- NOBODY HOME! Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Blizzard up first and bringing Iceberg to his feet the hard way- Headbutt by Blizzard sends Iceberg back down to eat the canvas! Iceberg slow to his feet...

Dave - Blizzard is going to the outside, but the rope linking the two is barely long enough... Blizzard is looking under the ring. He's pulling out and chair and throws it into the ring. Blizzard now having a bit of trouble out there, but pulling out a table and is setting it up on the outside.

Rick - This might be trouble for The Iceberg, Dave: Remember What happened to Matt Michaels when there was a table on the outside!

Dave - That I do, Rick, and I'm sure that so does Hall. Blizzard is climb back into the ring. WAIT!! Hall on the inside and he has the chair- pulls on the rope- OH!! Hall just nailed Blizzard with the chair! Hall with a cover: 1... 2... NO! Hall almost had him!

Rick - Blizzard wasted too much time on the outside, Dave: He's just not used to fighting a match while attached to his opponent by a short line. This is just what Kevin Hall had in mind when he made this match, you can be sure- this way, he has partial control over where the Extreme Icon can actually move to, and let's face it: if Blizzard would have had more time and freedom of movement, we may have been seeing Iceberg though that table at ringside right now...

Dave - You may be right, Rick... Hall now up on his feet again- picks Blizzard up and dumps him on his head with a belly to back suplex! Kevin Hall spending quite a bit of time measuring him up... Falling fist to the chest of Blizzard!

Rick - That'll wake ya' up!

Dave - Hall following up with a quick facelock! "The Iceberg" showing his old-school wrestling ability here as he's just wearing Blizzard down slowly by cutting of the circulation. What a contrast in styles we're able to see between present and past Extreme Champions: Blizzard with his over-the-top style and Hall with a more technical style... But look at this, folks: Blizzard getting to his feet with the facelock still wrenched on by Hall... Blizzard with a shot to the ribs! And another! Hall breaking the hold! Blizzard off the ropes: STEAMROLLS the giant down to the mat with a shoulderblock!! Measuring him- Blizzard misses with the elbow! And Hall rolls and gets to his feet.

Rick - Hall letting Blizzard get up and waiting for him with that chair... Blizzard is up: Hall winds up and SMASHES the chair on Blizzard's head! My GOD: Blizzard is still standing! Just looks at Hall. Hall winding up again and nails him once again in the head! Blizzard is just shaking his head. Hall off the ropes......He dives OH!!! Hall just BLASTED the chair right in the face of Blizzard!! Blizzard is finally down! Hall dragging Blizzard toward the corner now and... he's going to the top! I'm not sure in the rope is long enough, considering how tall Kevin Hall is... Hall tough making it to the top, but is hunched over a slight bit. Blizzard is tugging on the rope. Hall is wobbling.... OOHH!!! Hall just fell onto the top turnbuckle crotch first. Hall just MELTING off that top turnbuckle, and he's GOT to be in a buttload of pain, Dave.

Dave - You're not kidding! Blizzard now, despite the walloping he's taken is on his feet and he has that steel chair! Hall trying to get up and turns around. OH!! Blizzard just dented that chair on Hall's head! Hall down to one knee. Blizzard winds up and sends the chair crashing down on the back of Hall. Now Blizzard has the rope. OH MY!! Blizzard is whipping him like a mule! Hall is holding his back: Listen to that sound!!! Now Blizzard now choking Hall with the rope! The ref is asking Hall.... Hall is saying no. Blizzard releases the hold and goes over to the crowd.

Rick - The crowd is on its feet Dave: I don't think they care WHO wins this match! They're just taking in the action!

Dave - Hall is holding his throat and trying to get the oxygen back into his lungs. Blizzard is moving in- OH ! Small package by Kevin Hall! 1... 2... Blizzard rolls it! 1... 2... And "The Iceberg" rolls it!! 1... 2... NO! Kickout by Blizzard!

Rick - This is INTENSE, Dave!!

Dave - You're not kidding! Blizzard is to his feet. He charges. Blizzard misses a clothesline. Hall with a kick to the stomach! Double arm DDT!!! Both men lying on the canvas to take breather... But just listen to those PW fans cheering for them to get up!

Rick - They want to see more action! And you can bet that Kevin Hall and Blizzard are game, Dave! Kevin Hall rolls over on top of him! Danny Dickson counting- 1... 2... NO! Hall almost put this one way to keep his title!

Dave - They're both just trying to shake the cobwebs out. Kevin Hall trying to get to his feet- But Blizzard drags him right back down! How can Hall be getting to his feet after all he's been through? And Blizzard up now too- Scoops the champ up off his feet- SLAMS him down with authority! Measuring him- Falling fist right on the money by Blizzard!

Rick - The guy's incredible! And these Kansas City fans now really getting behind their hometown boy , Dave!

fans - Ice-BERG! Ice-BERG! Ice-BERG! Ice-BERG!!

Dave - As much as they support Blizzard too, you can bet that they're wanting Hall to walk away champ from this SECOND title defence in the same night!

Rick - Blizzard with a pinning attempt: 1... 2... "The Iceberg" shoves Blizzard off onto his back! Hall reaching over for a pin: 1- NO! Blizzard with the easy kickout. What a match this has been so far!

Dave - It's what the fans expect to see from athletes of this level! Rick - That's exactly right: The PW is where it's at! Say what you will about Hall, but he's getting up again and he just keeps coming at Blizzard! He will do anything to keep that title. DOWN with the kneedrop! Cover: No! Only a one count. Blizzard looking a bit tired...

Dave - "The Iceberg" crawling over to Blizzard: front facelock applied by Kevin Hall! He's holding it, but Blizzard getting to his feet- Kevin Hall up with him... turning the move around- Neckbreaker drop! Great move! Blizzard on his feet- stomping away at Hall!! Blizzard just not stopping!!! WAIT! Kevin Hall caught his foot- Leg drag takedown by "The Iceberg"!!! Blizzard getting to his feet- Hauled down by Hall! And now Hall with a legbar submission!

Rick - And I don't have to tell you how painful that can be! Blizzard pulling himself to his feet, but Hall still has him by the leg!... Hall, takes him over with a legdrag! Wow!

Dave - Kevin Hall slides onto Blizzard and hooking the leg! 1... 2!... Kickout by Blizzard!

Rick - I thought he had him that time for SURE with that excellent pinning combination: Iceberg obviously trying to take the Extreme Icon's vertical base away from him...

Dave - But Blizzard still has some fight left in him from the looks of it... Blizzard pushing himself up- Kevin Hall EXPLODES off his feet with a lunging clothesline! OH MY!! Both men just went over the top rope! with that one! Out at ringside now, it's Hall is getting to his feet... followed by Blizzard. Both men are exchanging blows. Blizzard grabs Hall and throws him into the guardrail. Blizzard pulls Hall back to him- OOHH!! Blizzard almost clotheslined Hall's head off. Hall is hurt. Blizzard picking him up and rolling him back into the ring...

Rick - Blizzard seems to have really taken control of this match!! Hall looks really hurt! Blizzard is climbing the ropes... Blizzard on the top! Up and- NO!! "The Iceberg" rolled out of the way in lots of time!

Dave - I think he was just playing possum!

Rick - Both men are down and it looks like they're just taking a second to catch their breaths. They're on the mat, Dave, but that's where Kevin Hall is at his most dangerous! I can't believe what I'm seeing, but Blizzard is up on his feet first! Hall on his feet too! Reels Blizzard in- WOAH!! What a power display with the belly-to-belly suplex by Hall!!

Dave - The guy's incredible! I don't believe it: Blizzard is getting up! Hall looking a little shocked. Here we go with a tie up... Who's coming out on top Rick?

Rick - Well, Kevin Hall just shoved him away and now he's tattooing Blizzard with chops!! So I'm gonna have to say Kevin Hall.

Dave - But Blizzard is fighting back! OH! Lands a heavy right hand! Hall is staggering. Blizzard pulls the rope- Kick to the stomach! He has him- nails Kevin Hall with a piledriver! Both men now slow to their feet... And it's Blizzard up first and bringing Hall to his feet the hard way- Headbutt by Blizzard sends Kevin Hall back down to eat the canvas! Blizzard with a stunned Kevin Hall and setting him up on the top turnbuckle... Blizzard climbing the rope- he's going to try for a Superplex!! NO! Blocked by Kevin Hall- But Blizzard gets it on the second try- WHAM!!

Rick - That took a lot out of both men, Dave: neither of them is moving very much right now as they're both feeling the effects of this match... Especially Kevin Hall, considering he's feeling the after effects of his Electrified Steel Cage Match against Nemisis! How his body is even still functioning at all is completely beyond me, Dave... Finally we have them stirring as both men are slowly getting to their feet... And it's "The Iceberg" up first and bringing Blizzard to his feet the hard way- Solid right hand by Kevin Hall ..UH HO!! Wait a minute Blizzard is just looking at Hall. Blizzard a kick to the stomach- Hall doubled over- He sweeps Blizzard's legs out from under him with a double leg takedown!! Great counter move! "The Iceberg" has him by the legs- and he's hooking them under his arms... What's he doing? Hall falling back- ...OH! Kevin Hall slingshots Blizzard into the turnbuckle! Hall is picking up the chair. Blizzard is holding himself up by the ropes. Hall charges. WHAM!! OOHH!! Blizzard just kicked that chair right into the mouth of Hall! Hall is down holding his face. Blizzard is down to one knee in the corner...

Dave - Both men are down and it looks like they're just taking a second to catch their breaths. Blizzard crawling over to "The Iceberg". Kevin Hall trying to get to his feet- But Blizzard drags him right back down! Blizzard with a punch right between the eyes! He doesn't want Kevin Hall to get up at all! I think..YES!! Hall was busted open from the chair to the face... Blizzard is moving back to his feet.

Rick - Kevin Hall back to his feet- Rocks him with a forearm!! Blizzard wishes he could have that one back!

Dave - He's fighting for his life in there! Hall has him by the wrist- Sends him to the turnbuckles with AUTHORITY! And Blizzard hits hard!! DOWN to the mat he goes! Kevin Hall getting up for the follow up on that. Blizzard needs to try for a comeback, but the hometown crowd is going nuts here for the champ! Hall comes down across the back of Blizzard with a double axe handle!! Blizzard just can't make it to his feet! Kevin Hall drops a knee on lower leg of Blizzard!

Rick - He's back to working that leg...

Dave - Kevin Hall rolls Blizzard onto his stomach- Folds his legs up- STF there by Kevin Hall! I have never seen Blizzard give up, but all things considered, there's a first time for everything, folks! And what a feather it'd be for Kevin Hall if he could pull off a submission victory right here in Kansas City!

Rick - Nice work there by Hall... But Blizzard with a hand free- GRABS that bottom rope and the hold is broken! Blizzard trying to get to his feet- But Hall drags him right back down!

Dave - They've been through a lot here tonight: The fans are definitely getting their money's worth tonight off of this match alone, that's for SURE! Kevin Hall getting to his feet and helping Blizzard to his feet- Side Russian leg sweep by Hall! rolls over onto him- 1-2- No! Only a 2-count. Hall to his feet and he has the chair... That chair is pretty dented up. Blizzard to his feet. Hall winds up. WOW!! Did you hear that sound?! Blizzard went down hard. Blizzard has been known to have a hard head, but that one even knocked HIM down. I think Blizzard is bleeding from his head. You have to wonder what's going through their minds at a time like this Rick- They've been through a lot to get to this match, and neither man is going to want to take a loss at this point!

Rick - I can't believe it. Blizzard is getting back to his feet. Hall waits and quickly pull at on the rope. OH!! Big boot to the face of Blizzard. Blizzard is dead on his feet. Hall has that chair again- he winds up... Not again. OOHH!!... Right to the head of Blizzard... but Blizzard is still standing!! Hall setting that chair on the mat. He has Blizzard- NAILS him with a reverse DDT on the chair! Kevin Hall up first and helping Blizzard up- Small package by Blizzard! 1-2- NO! Kevin Hall barely kicks out of it! Both men lying on the canvas to take breather... But just listen to those PW fans cheering for them to get up!

Dave - I don't blame them a bit! What a match this has been so far!

Rick - What did you expect? It's champion versus former champion in there and it's been nothing short of an all-out WAR!

Dave - You're not kidding! Both men now have latched onto each other and are rolling around in an attempt to get the upper hand! Blizzard on top and just WAILING on Kevin Hall!! "The Iceberg" shoves him off!! Both men to their feet!

Rick - Blizzard quickly catches Hall with a kick to the midsection! Twists him around- reverse neckbreaker by Blizzard! Hall is down and Blizzard not wasting a second to go for that dented steel chair! He sets it on Hall's face... Blizzard off the ropes. DROPS the leg right on that chair. Hall is out. Blizzard with the cover 1... 2... thr... kickout!! How did Hall kick out of that?!?!! Blizzard doesn't look like he has any idea either, but picking up Hall... Setting him up- Blizzard looking like he's going for a powerbomb here... Pulls Hall up- Not quite- Back body drop by the champ!! Hall quick off the ropes- and drops the knee right into Blizzard's face!

Dave - A desperation maneuver there by Hall, no question about it, Rick: He had to dig down deep for the counter and then for the follow up, and I have to say though, I think he's running on fumes and nothing else, considering the pure Hell he's been put through here tonight.

Rick - The fans are on their feet here and they're hoping that he has something left to give, but I'm not so sure he does... Neither man is moving much at all and the ref has started the count and has already reached three... Are we really going to be seeing a double count here?

Dave - I'm not sure- WAIT! Hall just sat up! Hall taking a second to catch his breath.... Drapes his arm over him for a cover- 1-2-thr-NO!! Blizzard gets the shoulder up! Hall is complaining of a slow count, but he's going to have to get better weight distribution than that if he wants to win this. You can see that cut on Hall's forehead is really bleeding heavily... Hall slides onto Blizzard again and hooks the leg this time! 1... 2!... Kickout by Blizzard!

Rick - Blizzard hanging on somehow and Hall can't believe it! How EITHER of these men still have the energy to even fight back is beyond me...

Dave - But apparently Blizzard isn't done yet, folks. Hall picks up the groggy Blizzard and places him on the top. Hall is going up with him. it looks like Hall is going to go for the Shipwreck from the top rope!

Rick - If he hits this it is all over! There is no doubt about that. WAIT!! Blizzard is punching away at Hall!! Both men are exchanging punches! Back and forth and with little room to move around up there all of them are landing solidly! OH!! Blizzard caught Hall with a with good right to the jaw. OH NO!! Hall is staggering. He is going to fall off. He is losing his balance. WAIT!! OH MY GOD!! Hall in a move of desperation grabbed ahold of Blizzard as he was falling and both fell off the top and through that table Blizzard had set up earlier on the outside!!!!! Both men are down and not moving! The ref might want to stop this match: I don't see any movement from either man...

Dave - The fans won't be happy if the match ends like this. Listen to them cheering for more!

Rick - But that was an unbelievable 700-plus pounds crashing through that table and hitting the floor, Dave- I don't know how they figure they'll go on after something like that...

Dave - And I can't believe what I'm seeing, but Kevin Hall actually pulling himself out of the rubble of that table, but I don't think he has any concept of what's going on, Rick!

Rick - There's no doubt that he looks a bit out of it, walking away from the wreckage of that table on a tether to Blizzard and looking like a zombie, with his eyes glazed over... Looking down at his wrist now, as if he's just figuring out what's going on.... This isn't good at all.

Dave - I dare say that it's quite possible that Hall had his bell rung, folks... Following the rope back to the Extreme Icon and lifts his body out of the remnants of that splintered table- Blizzard tugs on the rope- OH!!! Landed a shot to Hall while he was on his way down!! He used Hall's size and weight against him on that one, Rick!

Rick - That he did, Dave, but will he be able to get Hall off of himself and get back into the ring for the pin is the question that's going through everyone's minds right now... Blizzard having a great deal of trouble getting out of the twisted mess that used to be one of our folding tables with Hall on top of him.

Dave - And it's no wonder- he's practically going to need the jaws of LIFE to get out of that mess! Blizzard doing what he can to push Hall up off of him... Rolls him off, finally. Now pulling himself up from the makeshift woodpile we now have at ringside... Pulling Hall up- rolls him into the ring and follows suit. Blizzard in there- drops onto Hall for the cover: 1... 2... NO!!! Oh MY GOODNESS!! Kevin Hall got the shoulder up! Unbelievable! The reigning Extreme Champ hasn't relinquished his title yet! And the Kansas City fans are on their feet!! Blizzard is beside himself and can't believe that he still hasn't put Hall away!!!

Rick - He had to expend a lot of energy just to free himself when he was pinned down by Hall on the outside, Dave, and I dare say that he almost should have waited until Hall had regained SOME semblance of consciousness, so he wasn't such a load of deadweight to shove off.

Dave - You may be right there, Rick, but I'm not sure if Blizzard knows what he can do to put this man away any more! Blizzard to his knees and pulling himself to his feet with the ropes, hauling Hall up by the hair now... Blizzard with a big right hand! And another right in the kisser! Hall looks to be out on his feet! Blizzard winding up- Hall blocked his head- OH!! Blizzard when downstairs to the body, nailing Hall in the same ribs that felt the wrath of Rudos' kendo stick earlier!

Rick - Pinata stick, Dave.

Dave - Right. Either way, Blizzard really using his head and not having ANY more mercy here for the champ after all they both been through... Hall clutching at his ribs and doubled over- AMAZING gutwrench pickup by Blizzard! Hoists him up on to his shoulder!! is time for the Polar Force?!! It might be the only thing that will put the big man away right about now! Running- There it is!!! Polar Force!!!!

Rick - It's the best running powerslam in the business, Dave! Covering: 1... 2... Thr- My GOD!!! Kevin Hall barely getting a shoulder up off the canvas! What in the WORLD is Blizzard going to have to do to win this?!

Dave - I don't know, Rick, and I have the feeling that HE doesn't either! Blizzard shaking his head in disbelief, but would you believe that he has a SMILE on his face, folks?

Rick - The man loves his work. Dave - And their fans are loving their Extreme Champion: They've been on their feet here in the Arena ever since Hall avoided the loss when Blizzard rolled him back into the ring, and I can almost guarantee that not a single butt has returned to its seat since! And just think, Rick: If Blizzard can put this away, Michaels will get bumped from his title contention spot at Battle for the Crown and Kevin Hall would be the challenger would be challenging Blizzard for the gold in rematch!

Rick - But I dare say that Blizzard would have the definite edge there, Dave: He'd be the one setting the stipulation if that happens, and as much experience as Hall has in extreme competition, I dare say that Blizzard has more.

Dave - I'll have to agree with you on that point, Dave- Blizzard now tough looking like he's formulated some sort of plan as he slides Hall to the center of the ring- Shot to the ribs by Blizzard! Grabs the arms and drapes them over his legs! Hooks the chin- Blizzard with the camel clutch!!! Blizzard may be on his way to winning the Extreme Title once again, his first time though since the PW was officially formed!

Rick - You said it Dave, but so far Iceberg is holding on! Adam Kent looking for the submission, but it's always hard to tell when this hold is on, Dave! Blizzard with the rope and tugging on IT now around Hall's chin! And I can't believe that Blizzard is having enough respect NOT to be going for a chokehold! He wants to end this one by submission from the looks of it, but Iceberg STILL not giving it! His bones and muscles must be on FIRE from the pain!!

Dave - And can you believe THIS?! Kevin Hall, with his long arms, is actually trying to haul himself toward the ropes!!

Rick - Simply unbelievable, Dave, but he has a REALLY long way to go here- I really don't think he can make it! Hall "walking" on his hands at a snail's pace toward the ropes, and he's running on determination alone at this point, folks!... Another step.......... Another!..... And ANOTHER!!! Kevin Hall slowly but surely making his way to the ropes, but how much longer can he POSSIBLY hang on?!?!!

Dave - He's not going to have to, Rick: Blizzard letting him go! Why would he DO that?!

Rick - It was a smart move, actually Dave, if you think about it: Hall must have been expending SO much energy to crawl over toward the ropes and he was almost there anyway- the man MUST be spent by now, and now Blizzard has the opportunity to capitalize!

Dave - Blizzard in the driver's seat, no doubt about that, but he HAS to be getting frustrated at this point: He's tried to win with his finisher, he's tried a submission, what ELSE can he possibly do?! Pulling Hall over to the corner now and Blizzard has the steel chair!! Placing over Hall's back! And now Blizzard's climbing to the top!! What will that do to the man's RIBS?!! Rick - If they're not broken yet, they might well be after this, Dave! I don't know if we WILL be seeing a rematch at Crown or not! Blizzard up there, the crowd rallying behind Iceberg to roll out of the way! Blizzard- SWEET JESUS _LORD_!!!!! BLIZZARD EXECUTED A _CORKSCREW PLANCHA_ OFF THE TOP AND _NAILED_ IT!!!

Dave - Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE that a man of Blizzard's size can even pull off a move like that! But Blizzard feeling the effects of that busted up steel chair almost as much as Hall is, Rick, and he's not following up with a cover yet! Blizzard crawling over.... Lateral press: 1... 2... Oh my GOD! Hall even ROLLED OVER as Blizzard bounced off on impact! What will it take to put Kevin Hall away?!

Rick - I don't think ANYONE knows, Dave! Blizzard has done it ALL in this match! But let's give Blizzard credit- his ribs slammed up against that chair too, but he's actually getting to his feet!

Dave - I don't believe it. I just DON'T believe it...

Rick - Well you're not going to believe THIS either- Blizzard just dropped the steel chair on Hall's chest and he's making his way to the top turnbuckle AGAIN!!! Blizzard slowly making his way to the top for another high risk maneuver, and there's no WAY that Hall can survive another move like that last one, Dave!

Dave - But that's what we were thinking ten MINUTES ago! How the man is even still breathing is nothing short of miraculous! Blizzard on the top- WOAH!!! Hall- OH!!!! Kevin Hall YANKED on the rope hauling Blizzard off the top and knocking his chin RIGHT into the sole of his boot!!! The crowd here is going INSANE!!

Rick - Blizzard on the mat and holding onto his face in anguish- talk about a tooth rattler! Can Kevin Hall actually make a comeback here?!

Dave - I don't know- I can't even believe he was even able to move a leg as far as he did! But Blizzard looks like he may take a little time to recover...Both men down and neither is going ANYWHERE yet!

Rick - Tamara banging on the apron and trying to motivate the fans even further, as if they need any extra convincing to cheer Iceberg on!

crowd - Ice-berg! Ice-berg! Ice-berg! Ice-berg! Ice-BERG! Ice-BERG! Ice-BERG! ICE-BERG! ICE-BERG! ICE-BERG! ICE-BERG!! ICE-BERG!!! ICE-BERG!!!!

Dave - An unbelievable showing fan support pouring out for the hometown hero Kevin Hall here!! And would you BELIEVE this?! Both Hall and Blizzard making their way up off the mat! Hall clutching at his ribs and Blizzard trying to shake the cobwebs out- Blizzard with a swing- Hammers Hall in the face! Hall fries right back!! Unreal! Blizzard returns with a big left! Hall with another right!! Blizzard with a punch- Blocked by Hall! Kevin Hall- BLOCKED by Blizzard! Blizzard with a blow to the rib- But Hall fired back with a HOWITZER of a punch and knocked Blizzard down with it!!! Pulling Blizzard up off the mat- Kneelift to the midsection by Hall- Hall sets him up- CAN he get the Shipwreck on a 390 pond man at this point in the match?!?!! Lifts- DOWN!!!! Shipwreck!!! Taking a breath- Covers: 1... 2... Thr- NO!!!!! Blizzard got his shoulder up at the last possible fraction of a second!!!

Rick - Hall may not have gotten the power he wanted behind his powerbomb finisher, Dave, and that breath he needed to take after the move may have been crucial to Blizzard's being still in this one... I just don't know how they're doing this!

Dave - You, me our entire staff, everyone in the back, the thousands of fans in the sold-out Kemper arena and the fans at home alike, Rick all feel the same way, I can assure you! I mean, what can these two POSSIBLY have left?...

Rick - Ya' got me, Dave. I've seen it all. And Kevin Hall using the ropes to regain a vertical base while pulling Blizzard up with him- With Blizzard by the back of the head- SLAMS his face into the turnbuckle! Iceberg understandably sluggish in there- AGAIN he bashes Blizzard's face into the turnbuckle! Kevin Hall looking at the turnbuckle, and at a time like this, he MUST be contemplating the high-risk move to finish things off- What else can he do?

Dave - I haven't got a clue. Hall though setting Blizzard up- Abdominal stretch on the former champ! Might we ACTUALLY see Blizzard submitting tonight?!

Rick - I don't know, Dave- I'm not sure if that man has EVER given up in his life, and this match has been perfect evidence for that if I've ever seen it! But Hall's height advantage is REALLY letting his stretch Blizzard out here, and you can almost HEAR Blizzard's muscles and ligaments pulling apart! Hall- My GOD!!! He Just performed a Russian legsweep on Blizzard, and the back of Blizzard's head hit the bottom TURNBUCKLE, and Hall bounces off the bottom rope and CLOTHESLINED himself of the second rope!! What a move, but Hall paying for it as much as blizzard did- but a cover: 1... 2... 3!!!! He did it!!!!! The Iceberg did it!!!!

[The bell rings, but is entirely drowned out by cheering fans.]

Dave [yelling to be heard over the fans' ovation] - I don't believe it!!! After fighting THREE matches in one night, Kevin Hall is going on to Battle for the Crown to DEFEND his Extreme Title against Matt Michaels!!! The crowd here is going totally RETARDED!!!!! The noise is deafening and I can barely hear myself THINK!! I'm not sure if you can HEAR me or not, but KEVIN HALL RETAINS THE EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Rick [yelling] - What an unbelievable finish! And EMTs rushing the ring to tend to Iceberg and Blizzard both... but they seem to be paying PARTICULAR attention to Hall! I think he may have hurt his windpipe when he clotheslined himself on the steel cable, Dave!

Dave [yelling] - I don't know, Rick! I'm not sure! The EMTs clearing an area out around him and putting an oxygen mask on the champ...

[The fans' reaction, seeing the urgency of the situation dies down a bit. Blizzard, holding onto his head, starts to come around, and gets to a knee as a team of EMTs looks him over, shining the penlight in his eye and stuff.]

Dave - Let's hope the champ is alright......

[Very uncomfortable silence, and murmur amongst the fans. The EMTs close in around Hall, with Blizzard looking over their shoulders to see what's going on. He looks hurt, but has a concerned look on his face. Suddenly the look of concern turns to a smile as from the mess of EMTs, stands Kevin Hall (with the oxygen mask still over his mouth and nose), towering over everyone in the ring. The crowd goes nuts. Blizzard goes to the outside of the ring as the crowd cheers Hall on wildly.]

Dave - He's ALRIGHT!!! HALL'S OKAY!!

Rick - Thank goodness, Dave! You have to wonder whether or not he'll be in fighting shape come Crown, but for now, he's still the champ!!

[Blizzard enters the picture again. In his hand, he holds the Extreme title.]

Rick - Wait a second! What's this?

[Blizzard looks down at the belt in his hands.... then hands it over to Hall. He raises the champ's free hand in victory.]

Dave - There's only one word for this, folks, and that's "Unbelievable". For Rick Richards and my colleagues on both sides of the cameras, I'm David Deyo- see you at the Battle for the Crown!!

[The shot cuts with Hall's hand being raised by Blizzard, then goes to the PW Shockwave logo, with some credits at the bottom in small print. The shot cuts and the broadcast ends.]
