PW Magazine: The Ride [1 7 . 0 5 . 0 1]
by "The Corvette" Nick Corvello

Welcome to another edition of "The Ride". I know its been a long wait, and yours truly apologizes for that. We've had a couple major complications, but they're settled, and now, you can enjoy my presence in Planet Wrestling once again. For this edition, I interviewed one of the toughest men in Planet Wrestling today, a man that I brought in to Planet Wrestling, and one of my best friends, "The Gold Dragon" Kevin Peterson. This is how it went:

"The Corvette": "The Gold Dragon" Kevin Peterson. Its a great pleasure having you on "The Ride"

KP: Its a pleasure seeing you again, old friend.

"The Corvette": Well, since I know your past, and so do most people now, I'll skip my questions about your background. Let’s move to your past matches at Shockwave, starting with your first. You faced Sean Swanson and Rudy Rudos in a phenomenal Kendo Stick match, and you came out the victor. Tell me, how does it feel to have won that kind of a match against two other men?

KP: It is very satisfying. I got to wreak some revenge on Sean Swanson, and even put Rudy Rudos in his place. Its all the elementary method of killing two birds with one stone, and since that was the first Kendo Stick match in Planet Wrestling history, and that I won it, I am the king of The Kendo Stick match as far as I'm concerned.

"The Corvette": Alright. Moving on, you participated in the Main Event on the same night against the former NX'ers with your partners Zed Logan and Xander. First off, what chances did you think you would have against them at first?

KP: Well, to be honest, I felt confident that I could handle The AngelKillers, but considering the fact that I already competed in a match, I knew Zack Logan was going to be a problem. As the match was underway, I tried my best not to quit the entire time, and all that hard work paid off, and now we see Zed Logan owning the rights to New Generation X.

"The Corvette": Now, throughout most of the match, you were playing a "man to man" gameplan, and you went after Akira Takahashi most of the time. In fact, that’s who you were most concentrating on. Tell me why?

KP: Well, ever since I entered the Planet Wrestling roster, and observed the other wrestlers, I knew that Takahashi is a man I would want to face off against, one-on-one. Not because of the fact that he’s dishonorable, a cheater, and I want to cleanse Planet Wrestling of him. Its out of respect for his experience and in-ring ability. You could also say I'm curious if he has a Martial Arts background.

"The Corvette": Interesting...So, when do you think you'll be open to challenge him?

KP: Well, friend, to be honest, that was sort of a challenge to him, but I'll make it clear. I'll face him any event, anywhere. All he has to do is show up, and answer my challenge. I really can't wait until I have him in the ring one-on-one.

"The Corvette": Well, fans. There you have it. A challenge on "The Ride", from "The Gold Dragon" himself. There are some places you should be interested in, though. According to several rumors going around, an event coming up soon is gonna be held in the old CSW Arena...located in Canada, and literally owned by one of your arch-nemeses, Sean Swanson. If these rumors are true, how will you handle the environment?

KP: Well, I've heard these rumors, too, and to be honest, I have mixed feelings. As you know, I always appreciate fan support, no matter where I am, or how I feel at the moment I get it, but yet, I won't lose focus if I'm booed by a whole crowd. But just because I will be in a country that may turn against me with the help of Sean Swanson's influence, it doesn't mean I'll be booed. If the Canadians in that CSW arena value immorality, dishonor, cheating, sin, and evil, which is what The PAIN Foundation represent, then I will be booed nearly out of the building. If they value the opposites, which are morality, honor, fair play, good deeds, and righteousness, which are everything I represent, then I will have fan support from an enemy's own fanbase. Plus, I've already explained myself many times. I have nothing against Canada, I only have problems with Jansen and Swanson. It doesn't matter how many people believe it because its the plain simple truth.

"The Corvette": Well, a lot of people may agree with you. Anyway, we're getting to the end of this edition of "The Ride", and it's time for the final part of this series. You know the process. I name names and you tell me the first thing that comes to your mind about them.

KP: Yes, I know.

"The Corvette": Well, lets begin. First, one of your opponents at this past Shockwave, Rudy Rudos.

KP: A mongrel idiot. Hopefully, I knocked some sense into him. "The Corvette": Next, one of your other opponents at Shockwave, and one of your arch-nemeses, Sean Swanson.

KP: Now my arch-nemesis, and to be honest, a tough competitor, but also an ignoramus.

"The Corvette': Now, for two of your opponents for the Main event at Shockwave, The AngelKillers.

KP: About Ravenger: The biggest weakling I've ever seen, about Takahashi: A highly skilled competitor, but also an ignorant bastard.

"The Corvette": Next, the other part of that team, Zack Logan KP: All talk and barely any show. I severely overestimated him. "The Corvette": Now, for a man who has called your win in the Triple Threat Kendo Stick match a fluke, and the current PW Champion, Drunkaholic.

KP: Another ignorant bastard. If he supports that belief strong enough, then I wouldn't mind winning the Trans World belt and proving to him that I'm not a fluke.

"The Corvette": Is that another challenge? (showing a smirk representing those from evil men or opponents in a card game with James Bond in the 007 movies)

KP: It doesn't have to be unless Drunkaholic makes it one.

"The Corvette': Well, continuing on. Many of those I listed are participating in the Tag team Tournament starting at the premiere of Aftershock. I will list more, starting with your first opponents at the tournament, Slasher and The Icon.

KP: Slasher: impressive in his short time to say the least. The Icon: I don't have much to say about him.

"The Corvette": Now for extreme and Mike Philips

KP: I don't have an opinion on either of them. I haven't seen them in action lately.

"The Corvette": Next, The Tandem of Dr. Troy Howard and Hank Albert

KP: Comical, and after hearing about Albert's diet plans, even more comical.

"The Corvette": Next, the tandem of the man who was yours and Zed's partner at Shockwave, Xander, and his partner, Anya.

KP: Loose cannons......both of them. If my partner and I get to face them, it will be a great match.

"The Corvette": The mystery teams.

KP: Interesting. I can't wait to find out who they are.

"The Corvette": Now, for the high-energy team of Airborn and Underdogg.

KP: Extremely talented athletes, especially Airborn. I wish them luck in this tournament.

"The Corvette": Alright. Next, newcomers "The Spring Break Kid" and Seldeenia

KP: From their first interview, I could see that they are going to be an intense combination, and worthy opponents if my partner and I get the chance to face them.

"The Corvette": No offense, but this is taking too long. Is it alright if I list the next four teams and you tell me an opinion that applies to all of them?

KP: That’s perfectly fine. Whatever works for you.

"The Corvette: Alright. Here they are: Nine Inch Males, The American Way, Trigonometry, and the team of Vince Parker and Brian Collins.

KP: They are all veteran teams that have only improved with their experience. It would be an honor if I could face any of them.

"The Corvette": Alright, we're almost done here. Now, for your only TRUE allies in Planet Wrestling, Zed Logan and Matt Michaels.

KP: Two of the best Planet Wrestling competitors today, and two men I respect for their honor and integrity. I'm glad they're on my side.

"The Corvette": Alright. Finally, we go to Sean Swanson's partner, and quite possibly the only man you haven't been able to defeat, the self-proclaimed "Heartbeat Of Canada", and a number 1 contender for the World title, Ken Jansen.

KP: He is highly skilled, and like I've said before, I respect his ability and his ability to find counters for many technical moves, but he is probably the biggest ignoramus Planet Wrestling has ever seen in its history, and the biggest ego to fill the Planetdome, and one day, sooner or later, his ego will be his downfall.

"The Corvette": Well, about the last comment, you're not alone, as about millions of viewers, including me, agree with you. Well, Kevin, my friend, its been a pleasure having you here on "The Ride"

KP: It was a pleasure coming here, Nick, and I congratulate you for your success in Planet Wrestling.

"The Corvette": Thank you very much, and I wish you good luck in your career.

(They shook hands and "The Gold Dragon" left.)

Well, fans that’s another edition of "The Ride", come and gone, and boy, what an interview that was! There was one official challenge and one possible challenge from "The Gold Dragon"'s mouth. Things are bound to get interesting soon...
