Welcome, all of the fans of Planet Wrestling, to another edition of "The Ride". Once again, I'm "The Corvette" Nick Corvello. Well, I had another interview, but this time it was with one of the world's elite wrestlers- The PW Extreme Champion, "The Iceberg" Kevin Hall. This is how it went:
"The Corvette": Well, Kevin, its a pleasure having you here for this edition of "The Ride".
"The Iceberg": Glad to be here Nick.
"The Corvette": Let's start here. How did you get your name "The Iceberg"?
"The Iceberg": Early on in my career I just went by Kevin Hall. One of the first hardcore matches I was in was against a guy called the Titanic, so it seemed natural to tell him I was his Iceberg. After I won the match people just started calling me the Iceberg.
"The Corvette": Interesting. tell me a little bit about your life, like how you wanted to wrestle, your childhood, etc.
"The Iceberg": Well, I never really thought about wrestling as a kid. But given my size it was only a matter of time until the high school coaches were hitting me up. I played football, basketball, and wrestling in highschool. I went to college on a wrestling scholarship, but still didn't take it seriously until Shakkal, my manager approached me one night after a tournament. He convinced me I had what it took to be big in professional wrestling. So I took a shot and I was good at it.
"The Corvette": Allright. Now did you win any titles in PW besides the Extreme Title you currently have?
"The Iceberg": No, I'm still relatively new here in Planet wrestling. I've only recently been allowed to wrestle again in the United States.
"The Corvette": Now for this, do you have any current feuds with anyone here in PW?
"The Iceberg": Personally, probably not... But I guess a few don't like me. Demonknight is still sore about our partnership going bad in our former fed, Nemisis is just looking to make a name, and various others are just looking to take shots at me because I hold the title.
"The Corvette": Wow, you're very cooperative, unlike "Obese" Hank Albert last time. What do you think of him?
"The Iceberg": Personally... I like to avoid the guy.
"The Corvette": Great. Now I just wanted your opinion on this subject. There is a new rookie by the name of "The Gold Dragon" Nick Peterson. He has done only one interview so far. What do you think of him?
"The Iceberg": Well, I have no real feel for the guy yet. But I'm always up to see new talent break into the scene.
"The Corvette": Do you think that he'll be a threat in any way to you? Because I was the person who scouted him, and he seems to have great potential, no offense.
"The Iceberg": None taken... Right now, I've got more on my plate than I know what to do with. I really don't have time to think about new guys. If he works his way up the ranks, I'll be more than happy to give him his shot however.
"The Corvette": Ok. Now We're gonna play a little game. I list some wrestlers' names and you tell me the first thing that come to your mind, ok?
"The Iceberg": sure, why not.
"The Corvette": First, Smokin John Hayes
"The Iceberg": Driven...
"The Corvette": Next, "The Natural" Lawrence Watts
"The Iceberg": Hothead...
"The Corvette": "Kamakize" Akira Takahashi
"The Iceberg": dangerous...
"The Corvette": Rudy Rudos
"The Iceberg": loud mouth...
"The Corvette": Esquire
"The Iceberg": spoiled...
"The Corvette": Zack "Blue Thunder" Logan
"The Iceberg": Power....
"The Corvette": Nemesis
"The Iceberg": stupidity...
"The Corvette": Blizzard, your opponent on Shockwave
"The Iceberg": Extreme danger...
"The Corvette": And last but anything but least, Me!
"The Iceberg": entertaining, to say the least.
"The Corvette": Well, once again it was a pleasure having you here. Hope to see more of your matches in the future. (shakes Kevin's hand)
"The Iceberg": Thanks for having me.
